Everywhere that wewe see, people who think of religion view it in some very depressing and oppressive matters, especially when it came to the "role" of women; I guess I can see why: many kikale, kale fashioned patriarchs would use religious documents to justify why women belong in a specific role of life as the homemaker who must serve her husband hand and foot, especially Christian men, who use the punishment of Eve to justify making women "obey" their male counterparts. They turn to the Bible constantly to justify "gender roles" where women should listen to their husbands and husbands should command their wives and treat them as children au second-class citizens. Little do these patriarchs know, though, is that the greatest human figure they look up to, Jesus, was a Feminist, himself... *collective gasps*
Okay, now that I've allowed wewe readers enough time to take in this new and bizarre information and gasp in surprise and awe, let me tell wewe how I came to this conclusion:
As a web surfer, I tend to take in a lot of information and perspectives as I can handle, especially when it came to topics that I care about, like Feminism and Christianity. I read a lot of interesting...

I have seen ALOT of maoni saying that the HolyGhost isnt real and wewe cant catch it and that its satanic. Also some say that speaking in tounges is foolish. And some (not all) maoni are kwa Christians. And some even ask where in the Bible does it say that? Well in the book of Acts its talks alot about the HolyGhost and people being filled and speaking in tounges. And it says in the last pages of John that Jesus breathed ON the people and they received the gift of the HolyGhost.
And that is the devil trying to convince people that its Satanic. He KNOWS that if a christian catches the HolyGhost they will be healed, delivered and set free. And that in Jesus Name wewe will receive remission of all sins. DONT fall into the tricks of the devil. Listen to Jesus and ask him to receive the HolyGhost so wewe can see what God can really do and fall under his Glory and power. I asked God for just one touch in church because i really was yearning for it. And then i recieved it.

The True Religion

kwa Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips

THE RELIGION OF ISLAM

The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word "Islam" itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it named after a tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus. Islam is the true religion of "Allah" and as such, its name represents the central principle of Allah's "God's" religion; the total submission to the will of Allah "God". The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission au surrender of one's will to the only true god worthy of worship "Allah" and anyone who does so is termed a "Muslim", The word also implies "peace" which is the natural consequence of total submission to the will of Allah. Hence, it was not a new religion brought kwa Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) I in Arabia in the seventh century, but only the true religion of Allah re-expressed in its final form.

Try Not To Cry

Mommy...Johnny brought a gun to school,

He told his Marafiki that it was cool,

And when he pulled the trigger back,

It shot with a great, huge crack.

Mommy, I was a good girl, I did what I was told,

I went to school, I got straight A's, I even got the gold!

When I went to school that day,

I never alisema good-bye.

I'm sorry that I had to go, But Mommy, please don't cry.

When Johnny shot the gun, he hit me and another,

And all because Johnny, got the gun from his brother.

Mommy, please tell Daddy; That I upendo him very much,

And please tell Zack; my boyfriend; That it wasn't just a crush.

And tell my little sister; That she is the only one now,

And tell my dear sweet grandmother; I'll be waiting for her now

And tell my wonderful friends; That they always were the best

A poem kwa Susan

One siku as my soul was bright

I praised our Lord with much deight.

With song I sang to please Him so

Hoping to Heaven I will go.

On my knees to Him I prayed

So His pleasure would not be delaid.

I sang and danced for Him to see

My upendo and faith I gave to Thee.

When I sat and prayed some more

I wanted to be His child adored.

I asked Him for a hug to feel

I knew He would, my moyo appealed.

Then suddenly without delay

My soul was hugged on that day.

No words can express my feelings on this

I'm still humbled and my soul a bliss.

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said, “How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?”

The surgeon said, “I’m sorry…We did all we could, but your boy didn’t make it.”

Sally said, “Why do little children get cancer? Doesn’t God care anymore? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?”

The surgeon asked, “Would wewe like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he’s transported to the university.”

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she alisema goodbye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. Would wewe like a lock of his hair?” the nurse asked.

Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy’s hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

We are made in the image of God, born to onyesha forth His divine creativity and power. Eph 2:10. In each of us God has deposited a gift, we must become His mirror, when people look at us they should see God, just as they see him in the flowers of the field and the sunset over the mountains. God’s people must reflect Him.

In order to reflect God we must seek to become one with Him. John17:22-23. We come into oneness with God through prayer. This oneness will allow us to know the mind of God. 1Cor2:16. When we have the mind of God we will operate in the plan and purposes of God. We will begin to onyesha His creativity and become His divine influence. God’s gift deposited in us will be unearthed and we begin to live above and beyond the mundane.

What do we see when we stare out at the ocean, what do we see when we look at the stars au the birds of the air? We see a master creator, placing each creature on this earth having a unique form and to fulfill a specific purpose, we see God. So God has placed in each of us a specific gift so that through us He can unfold His manifold character, so that through us others will...

For the unbeliever, the fear of God is the fear of the judgment of God and eternal death, which is eternal separation from God (Luke 12:5; Hebrews 10:31). For the believer, the fear of God is something much different. The believer's fear is... reverence of God. Hebrews 12:28-29 is a good description of this: “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our ’God is a consuming fire.’” This reverence and awe is exactly what the fear of God means for Christians. This is the motivating factor for us to surrender to the Creator of the Universe.

Proverbs 1:7 declares, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge.” Until we understand who God is and develop a reverential fear of Him, we cannot have true wisdom. True wisdom comes only from understanding who God is and that He is holy, just, and righteous. Deuteronomy 10:12, 20-21 records, “And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of wewe but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to upendo him, to serve the LORD your God with all your moyo and with all your soul. Fear the LORD your God...

Matthew 5:16 – ‘…let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.’ (NIV)

If wewe are really serious about letting your light shine, do wewe know that wewe have to be plugged in? I am talking about being plugged into the greatest power chanzo in the entire Universe. Our God!

God’s holy word tells us that David was plugged into God. David tells us in his Psalms many times that the LORD was the chanzo of his joy and strength. There are many examples of this in the Old Testament.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my moyo trusts in him, and I am helped. My moyo leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psalm 28:7 (NIV)

David faced many battles throughout his life. But, with the LORD’S help, he overcame all of his enemies. wewe can too! Put your trust in the Lord, just like David did.

Trusting in the LORD

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask au think, according to the power that worketh in us” Eph3:20(KJV)

We often read and even recite this scripture, but I wonder how many have stopped to really look into what it means. The ability of God far exceeds that which we can express au even that which can enter into our thoughts. The English language in all its vastness is limited in expressing the ability of God. Paul in an attempt to explain says “exceeding abundantly”.

Exceeding- To go beyond the bounds au limits of, to exceed one's understanding, to surpass; be superior to.

Abundantly - zaidi than adequate; over sufficient.

It goes beyond the of our understanding how over sufficient God is.

That which God’s ability allows Him the human mind cannot Fathom. Because we are so limited in our ability to explain this fact we can only sum it up kwa saying, God can do all things. We can repeatedly recite this phrase but unless it enters into our spirit we will never fully grasp this fact, that God can do all things. The word “All” takes into consideration...

“Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” Ezekiel22:26(KJV)

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the moto of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.” Ezekiel22:30-31(KJV)

A lot of times the destruction that comes on a nation/city could have been avoided if there was intercession on behalf of that nation/city. The land, mentioned in the scripture above, was violated with all type of sin and God sought for a man to intercede but found none. The bible says that yes the sin of the nation was bad, but it was because God found no intercessor why He decided to destroy the land. Had God found an intercessor the land probably would be spared.

Beloved…Our Sovereign Lord set up the entire universe and everything in it. He did it all without consulting our pea, njegere brains. God does not really need us. So, why were we created?

In Isaiah 43:7 (NIV), God talks of mankind, “Whom I created for my glory”. God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV), "So whether wewe eat au drink au whatever wewe do, do it all for the glory of God."

So we were created to glorify God. We can glorify the Almighty One through what we say, how we act, and what we are thinking. We should acknowledge how glorious He is and put Him above all things.

We glorify God through our desire to know Him. The zaidi we rejoice over Him "so will your God rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5 (NIV). Be grateful, rejoice and have a desire to know and obey Him.

wewe were born for a purpose. There was no mistake when wewe were formed. Another sperm could have joined itself to another egg, but it did not. All the days of your life have been already written. Psalm39vs16. wewe were intricately made, not one detail of wewe was a mistake. Everything about wewe was made exactly how God intended, because wewe were born for a purpose.

“For wewe did form my inward parts; wewe did knit me together in my mother's womb. I will confess and praise wewe for wewe are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well. My frame was not hidden from wewe when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm139:13-16(Amplified Version)

Yesterday, in a Walmart (or Safeway, something of the sort) in Tucson, AZ, a man with a gun came in and shot a congresswoman because of her political beliefs, as well as a few other people who happened to be in the store. There were quite a few wounded, and six who died. It really is a tragic event, and I as well as the people in church today have been praying for those people, and for all of their families. Just asking that wewe will pray for them as well; no one deserves to be shot because of their beliefs, au because they happened to be in a certain location at a certain time. </3

wewe are zaidi than the choices that wewe make. wewe are zaidi than the many hearts you’ll break. wewe are zaidi than your dreams that don’t come true. wewe are zaidi than whatever people think of you.
wewe are zaidi than the things that wewe say. wewe are zaidi than the places that wewe stay. wewe are zaidi than the things that wewe do. wewe are zaidi than I could ever think of you.
wewe are so much zaidi than what wewe think. Your life right now is only beginning These tests and trials that come to you, are meant to make wewe someone new. wewe are more. wewe are worth it. wewe are so much greater than wewe think wewe are.
So stop right there and see the light. There’s a purpose that wewe can’t fight. wewe weren’t put here for nothing. wewe weren’t put here to waste away. wewe were fearfully and wonderfully made to live here everyday.
Your smile makes the skies turn blue. So don’t stop, whatever wewe do. No matter what people say, don’t let it ruin your day.
This isn’t how your story ends. So don’t end it early. If it isn’t how wewe intend, keep trying anyway.

Fiery chakula mavens seeking to one-up each other now have to gear up for a whole new test of culinary bravado: the world's hottest chili pepper.

Yes, the Naga Viper, the latest claimant to the world's-hottest-pepper crown, outdistances its predecessor, the Bhut Jolokia, au "ghost chili," kwa zaidi than 300,000 points on the famous Scoville scale of tongue-scorching chili hotness. Researchers at Warwick chuo kikuu, chuo kikuu cha testing the Naga fira, viper found that it measures 1,359,000 on the Scoville scale, which rates heat kwa tracking the presence of a chemical compound. In comparison, most varieties of jalapeño peppers measure in the 2,500 to 5,000 range -- milder than the Naga fira, viper kwa a factor of 270.

[Related: Most dangerous chakula ingredients]

wewe might think the Naga fira, viper would hail from some part of the world with a strong demand for spicy food, such as India au Mexico. But the new pepper is actually the handiwork of Gerald Fowler, a British chili farmer and pub owner, who crossed three of the hottest peppers known to man -- including the Bhut Jolokia -- to create his Frankenstein-monster chili.

My friends, I have always adored God and looked at him with wonder. But lately I have found myself straying from his path. My life is in turmoil from the hatred i place upon my enemies when they troment me. But i know that i should forgive these people of the things they have done. For i know God is with me in life, and with him i have power. He has saved my life in many occasions. He has saved my brothers and family members. I know all of wewe have faith in your creator, and some of wewe have strayed from the path. But I know that my lord is a forgiving one, but i know that we must ask for forgivness to recieve it. I hoped that this does not sound like gibberish because this is some of my feelings on God and my life.

If wewe have read this, thank wewe for taking the time.
