All Is Fair In upendo and War – Chapter One – The Shake Up
The deal was easy. He finds her the perfect date, and she finds him one. How hard could it be?

“Blair,” Chuck began. “You look…amazing.” He smirked.
“You don’t look so bad yourself, Bass.”
“So…where’s this ‘date’ of mine?”
“Aw, tired of me already, Chuck?”
He chuckled. “Never; we’re inevitable, Waldorf. Remember?”
All Blair could do was nod and smile. “I’ll always remember.”
--Flashback--
“My father is someone who goes after what he wants and Lily van der Wooden was no exception. A typical bass, besi man fashion, his pursuit was direct and at times, not exactly subtle. One thing I've learned through my father's courtship of Lily is the importance of perseverance, that in the face of true upendo wewe don't just give up - even if the object of your affection is begging wewe to. And one thing I've learned from Lily, is the importance of forgiveness. She gave my father the gift of a sekunde chance and in kind I've watched them become someone actually worthy of that gift. And one siku I hope I'll be lucky enough to find someone who'll do the same for me. To the happy couple!”
Blair raised her glass of champagne, her eyes still locked with Chuck’s. She took a sip of it, and hesitantly got up from her seat. She didn’t exactly know what she was doing; she had no control over her legs. But all she knew was that she was heading straight for…

“Blair?” Chuck asked concerned, interrupting Blair’s thoughts, “Are wewe okay?”
“Yeah,” she nodded, “I’m fine; just…thinking.”
“You sure?”
Those words; the words he had asked her that fateful night last year. “Yeah,” Blair said, “I’m sure.”
That’s when they felt a shake under their feet. Blair Lost her balance and hit her head on one of the tables near by. “Blair?!” She could hear Chuck calling her name. “Blair?!” She felt a pair of arms wrap, upangaji pamoja around her waist. “Can wewe hear me?”
“Chuck?” Blair tried to ask, but her words came out as a whisper.
“Hey,” he cooed, stroking her chin. “Everything’s gonna be okay, everything’s gonna be okay…” Chuck just held her in his arms as the room shook and only screams and cries could be heard.
Her head hurt like hell. But she was safe; she was in his arms; he was comforting her, telling her that everything would be okay.
Blair mumbled something softly, but Chuck heard it, and just smiled a genuine smile. “I upendo wewe too.”
A/N: Tada! What do ya think? I just kinda came up with this in my mind, so I thought I’d type it up. Anyways, this story is AU and takes place during 2x12.
If wewe want some spoilers for this story, here they are (if wewe don’t, then skip this paragraph)…Bart never dies, Bart and Lily stay together, Blair and Chuck start a relationship, Aaron and Serena stay together, Lexi…ummm, wewe can just forget about her, Dan…well, I don’t know what I’m going to do with him, and that Nate/Vanessa/Jenny upendo triangle…I’m not a huge shabiki of Vanessa, and I like Nate and Jenny, but I promise I won’t kill her (V) in this earthquake. As for the others, you’ll just have to find out later. Also, be expecting a death later on.
Besides that, reviews are loved! I wanna know what wewe guys think so far.
