	xElvenPiratex picked Dair!: @babe1492 But that's exactly my point! Serena was in a relationship with Dan and claimed to love him, yet she still treated him like crap. It's different with Blair because when Dan befriended her, she had just had her heart broken and people with broken hearts treat even their best friends terribly because they're so hurt they don't even see it, and Dan has understood that from the beginning. The biggest difference between Blair and Serena is that when Dan called Blair on her crap, she apologized and made it right at the first opportunity. Once Blair realized she was really hurting him, she wanted to fix it, unlike Serena who knew all along she was hurting him and continued to string him along anyway. In other words, Serena, who claimed to love him with all her heart, continued to hurt him on purpose while Blair, who still calls him "Humphrey" in disdainful tones and rolls her eyes when he talks, felt horrible when she realized she had hurt him and quickly made it right.
