The whole point of myths and legends is that they are mythical and legendary. They're not supposed to be real, altho most of the stories probably did start with real events.
i don't think they are real no one really believed in them for hundreds of years recently though in greese some people are beginning to believe in it again and have set up a group so i dunno!!!!
