Sophiii Oh dear lord, it's really funny how immature people get when fighting over silly things like TV-show pairings. I myself am very happy to hear this. Gizzie was doomed from the start, it seemed like a desperate and just plain absurd storyline. But yes, it's true that spoilers aren't always 100% sure, but I am hoping this one is. The Gizzie-romance makes my uncomfortable. Peace everyone, I have nothing against the Gizzie-fans.

Parmigirl Gizzie should not have been put togetehr as an affair, if not, they would have worked. Shonda wanted thsoe two together from the start, she told both actors that during the pilot. To me, George and Izzie are perfect together, beautiful and lovely and in love and have more chemistry than any couple on TV. I just will not be watching the show if they are over for good, and this show cannot lose any more viewers. After the Gizzie break-up, the ratings went down, a lot. The last three episodes were the lowest rated of the series. If Gizzie ends for good, I will never watch one episode of this show again, not even old ones of it. They have a couple that s godlen and they throw it away, such idiots!

Parmigirl Maybe their romance makes you uncomfortable because you are used to shallow hot guy with hot girl pairings based on sex, not two people madly in love, who do not care about how the other looks, and love each other for who they are. George and Izzie are a bit too deep for the fanbase of this show who is used to cliche, hot girl with hot guy couple with nothing too deep attached to them. George and Izzie love each other too much and have an emotional connection way too intense for some people to get it. The ones of us who want real love stories are the ones who will lose out.

SaraTee I already quit the show when Gizzie ended, and looks like I won't be back. Gizzie is too beautiful for this show, too special, and some people just seem to be opposed to anything different than their carboard cutout same old same old couples. George and Izzie were exciting, sweet, lovely, beautiful, a breath of fresh air on this dreadful show, they kept me watching. I have no interest in watching MerDer's constant sex routines or Izzie and Alex's pornefest gross-out. But the 15 to 19 year old who watch the show and post here will be very happy, let Shonda keep thsoe fans, goes very well on her resume with the Crossroads movie, same type of fans she is reaching for. I want a little bit more mature love stories. I will read all the amazing Gizzie fics that have come out, much better than the show

SG1-090 Beautiful? i think Gizzie was terrible - it made the show partially unwatchable because of the uneasy and forced "romantic" scenes between George and Izzie.

arielle1 George and Izzie are the only thing that made the show watchable for me. Alex and Izzie made me regularly throw up during season 2 because they wre so fake, forced and awkardly painful to watch, I always felt like I was watching a very very bad porno movie, they enarly ruined season 2 for me. George and Izzie are the only real, beautiful couple on Grey and without them, I will not be watching this show. Good riddance to bad rubbish, Grey sucks Hmm, Astride was quite clearly talking to IloveM'cSteamy, he is the one who has been going from site to site asking people to vote on a poll on TV-com, saying everywhere George is so ugly and Izzie is too beautiful for him and screaming Die Gizzard die everywhere. You putting up a link here when Gizzie fans did the same is perfectly ok, him going on every site so they can vote on another fan site because Gizzie cannot win against Lexzie and begging the Lexie fans to please vote so hot Alex can win against ugly George is quite offensive

kaitlinnyar I know I'm not supposed to say it, but thank God. I hated Gizzie. I thought it was the worst part of the show. I might have liked the two of them together if they had done it from the start instead of having it as an affair. George was supposed to have been a nice guy. A sweet guy. And even if his marriage was a mistake, I thought it was poor taste to have him cheat on his wife. As for Izzie, I liked her in Season 1 and halfway through Season 2. She went stupid with the whole Denny Duquette thing (why do we have the emotional female doctor who can't handle the pressures of medicine on EVERY medical show?). And she hasn't gotten any better. George became a jerk around the time his father died. He hasn't gotten any better, either. They ruined both of those characters, and putting them together the way they did only served to further ruin both characters. I'm glad they're through, though I doubt the characters will get any better. I will agree with you all on one thing. This show does suck. It didn't have very many good characters or plots to begin with, and now, they've ruined the little it had going for it.

claudette Well of course you do, Shonda eats in the MerDer fans' hand and your couple is always going to be front and center. Other characters and couples' fans though get stabbed in the back all the time and have to watch their characters be miserable all the time. George and Izie were the only light for me, I think without them, I won't be able to watch, last episode was hell for me with just two secodns of them and then having to endure the gross Alex and Izzie, ugh!

JenniferDempsey i dont love the show just because of MerDer. I love it because of the actual medical dram. The humor. yes the werid coupling and the funny sex but i love the show for everything. Even if I didnt support merDer or whatever I would still watch it because I love all the other characters too I love the other storylines as well. I love the wittiness and cheek and everything. I love the show itself everyone included not just two characters thanks very much.

operagirl I use to love the whole show, but in season 3, it lost its humor, its light, we rarely see the interns together anymore and the show has become totally dreadful, it lost its magic long ago and that is probably due to the fact that fanbases are now controlling what Shonda does, and ABC is now controlling what she does. I used to watch the show for the entire show too, way before Gizzie happened, but by the time Gizzie happened, I was itching to leave until they happened. They were different, they felt, unlike the other couples, to be two people who actually really liked eacgh other, not only loved but genuinely liked each other, no other couple acted like they even liked each other, but they did, flaws and all. And they would look at each other and you could feel the intensity of their love burning up the screen. When george said I love you too, she and George were so radiantly happy, happier than I have ever seen them. When they were on the couch nsoe to nose, the sexual tension was so high and I wanted them to kiss more than anything. They amde my pulse race, my heart skip a beat and my hands sweat and then Shonda ruined it, ruined a couple she had been squeeing about last season, a couple I know she wants together, why? because some Internet fans who don't even constitute 5% of the fanbase did not like them, not even all Internet fans, some, and she humiliated them and ridiculed them and their fanbase. Yet when they lied on that bed when they broke up and he kissed ehr shoulder, they still felt like more of a real couple than any couple on that show and when they danced together, I fell in love with them even deeper. I will not forgive her for this, I have no respect for a writer who lets herself controlled by a bunch of rabid fans who do not even constitute the majority of the fanbase, no respect for a writer who does not have the courage to follow her conviction and follow through on the ebst couple she has ever created And next time, it will be a story you love and some people have a problem with she will scrap,. she set a dangerous precedent by dropping a story she loved, and many fans loved, just to please some people. The fans will now know they only have to threaten, lie and cheat to get ehr to do whatever she wants and the show will become even worse, the last two seasons have just been horrible and Gizzie was the one saving grace

operagirl And again it is easy to say that when you get what you want, because 80% of the MerDer fans on Grey matter said they would quit the show if MerDer ended, and then miraculously Shonda who, in her own words, had not been planning to reunite MerDer this season did, and suddenly all the MerDer fans said they loevd the whole show now that they ahd what they wanted, easy when you do, right, the story was different before

sweet16 i absolutely love Gizzie they're the only reason i watch the show and what's so special about Mer? she always gets second and third chances with Derek and of course she always rises to the occassion and screws things up. and now they want to get rid of the beautiful george and izzie, it is not right.
