For People who think the Cullens could beat the Harry Potter Trio in a Battle...

I know a lot of people think the Cullen family could beat Harry, Ron and Hermione in a battle. I have read both series, and I realize that the Cullens have super speed and super strength. However, I do not think that the Cullens would stand a chance against the Trio.

Let's look back at the battle history of each...

The Cullens:
- They defeated James in the first book. However, there was only one of him and there were five of them, I believe? So that really isn't saying much.

- They defeated a band of immature Wanyonya damu with no fighting skills in Eclipse. They went in knowing they would win because of the fact the vamps they were fighting had no skills whatsoever in fighting. Again, not a big deal.

- At the end of Breaking Dawn, they were finally going to battle someone that would be somewhat of a challenge to them. So, what happens? They gather an army, and they talk. That's it. They let the supposedly evil Wanyonya damu just walk away and continue to be unjust. Um, does this strike anybody else as cowardly?

The Trio:
- Robbed Gringotts Wizarding Bank, which has never been done before, and all past wizards who have attempted have failed. I'd say that in itself is pretty impressive. But wait! There's more!

- Saved the Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone from the clutches of Quirrel and, ultimately, Voldemort. wewe know how old they were when they did this? Eleven! How many eleven mwaka olds do wewe know who could do anything like that?

- Saved Ginny and the rest of the school from the horrors within the Chamber of Secrets (the Basilisk and Voldemort)

- Helped Sirius escape the clutches of the Ministry and defied hundreds of dementors. Only very skilled wizards can even produce a Patronus! Harry, at the age of 13, defied hundreds of them!

- Survived (and won) the Triwizard Tournament against witches and wizards older and zaidi advanced than Harry. This includes stealing an egg from a dragon, saving Ron from the merpeople and surviving the maze of doom (that is what I call it.)

- Faced of Voldemort unexpectedly and survived to tell the tale. At age 14.

- With Marafiki (Neville, Ginny, Luna), escaped the clutches of the Death Eaters at the Department of Mysteries (MUCH zaidi exciting in the book than the movie, just so wewe know)

- Collected and destroyed Voldemort's horcruxes

- Escaped with their lives from the Death Eaters on various occasions

- Final Battle: gathered an army and actually fought the Death Eaters. They suffered from loss, sacrifice and pain, but they did not give up and they did not give in. It was quite an intense battle, but in the end, Molly Weasley defeated Bellatrix single handedly, Neville killed off Nagini to make it possible to defeat Voldemort, and Harry went and defeated him single handedly as well.

- Many, many zaidi things as well. If I orodha them, it will take forever. If wewe want to find out more, read the books.

So, looking at their accomplishments, do wewe really think the Cullens would have the slightest chance against the Trio? I think not.

Aquilia At Laura Cullen 66 and in some parts Athyia: A Freezing charm would descend everything around you into slowmotion (say 1-10% of your original speed) which means despite the Vampires incredible Superman-speed, under Immobulus they'll be doing 0.5-5 meters per second - walking-bicycling speed - very much an easy hit.

sleazy_weasley Okay, Alice may be able to read the future, but really, in such an intense battle, she's not going to know every move the wizards pull at the core of the time. :) Sometimes the spells can be very instantaneous (uh, bad spelling), and Alice can only see foretold events; she thought Bella died, right? (Uh, whatever, werewolf). :( Okay, let's see how this would work ... The trio, Dumbledore's Army (Neville, Luna, Ginny), and Dumbledore himself vs. the Cullens; that's seven against *counts* (Ed, Bella, Al, Rosalie, Em, Jas, Carlz, Esme and Jacob) ... hm, bit unfair. Let's add Lupin to the list. Lupin vs. Jake: Lupin turns into full wolf, so does Jake. Jake still has his own mind, though. He is vulnerable. Lupin would eat him for an appetizer. ;) Harry/Dumbledore vs. Eddy/Carls: Occlumency, Fiendfyre, Dumbledore's voodoo. Hermes vs. Bella: Need I say more? It's like ... just, no. Ron vs. Emmet/Jasper: Okay, so Ron's not the best fighter, but let's get Ginevra to help. That's those two vamps down. Luna vs. Alice: Luna's so crazy Alice will simply get confuzzled. (Great argument I raise, I know). Death Eaters vs. Volturi: Dude. Like, Siriusly.

HecateA Only problem with Volturi vs deatheater, is that Jane and Alec are there, and I'm not sure that can be defied (thought it depends on who's quicker). Nice comment ilovereading. LOL. I follow Harry Potter, but sectemsempra wouldn't do anything, they have no blood (but in Half-blood prince (book) the inferi, also dead, get ripped apart.)

hrrypttrfn328 I just thought of something that is a bit off-topic, but still a good thing to keep in mind in a case like this: I call your attention to any war in which the side with severe disadvantages came out victorious. Take the American Revolution for instance. Who would have thought the British would loose? It really does not only matter how powerful one side is, for the Cullens are technically more powerful, but ingenuity, determination, and a myriad of other things come into the mix to turn the tides. The characters in Harry Potter, as more fleshed out and human, have that determination and resourcefulness to come out ahead.

Bellatrix-Black Luck potion's a good idea. Take a bit beforehand and it doesn't matter who's stronger, HP would win! And really, if it was all the characters from HP versus ass the characters from Twilight, as in, EVERY SINGLE ONE, HP has the advantage of numbers too! And the Deatheaters. Seriously.

LavenderBrown HP wins. No doubt. First, they impediment those sparklepires. They slow down, what good is super speed now? Then, Petrificus Totalus. They stop completely, easy hit. Now a bit of Fiend Fyre. (Fire you can't put out.) Surrond the Vamps with it. Now fly up on brooms to above the Fyre. Send jinxes, hexes and curses from above. HP wins.

rbweasley How would a vampire be able to land a hit, with the Shield charm? No matter how hard the vamps try, they can get past an impenetrable physical barrier. And the Occlumency is basically like a mental shield, so not mental attacks, and no way for Edward, or any other mental vampires (Jane, Alec, Zafrina- and you tell us that we don't read Twilight) would be able to get them. So now that the sparkly vamps can't hit them, they just use Fiendfyre, or Incendio, or whatever. Mayber they could even get some of the fireworks from the Weasleys and just blow them up that way :)

HPfan236 vampires can be killed with fire and Harry potter does have a fire spell so Trio would kick there ass

LottieVal99 Yeah, nifflers love shiny stuff and they should also send a few magpies to attack the sparkly losers. Otherwise @ladywyze , Yes Alice can read the future but it's limited (As stated by stephanie meyer but she does tend to contradict herself a LOT). Edward wouldn't be able to read thier minds as they would practice Occlumency. Though the vampires may be able to 'sparkle' in the sun, the glitters not really going to help them a lot is it? Fiendfyre can't be put out by any other person than the person who lit it and glitter has no effect whatsoever on it.

FishermansWife Many people forget: Hermione could turn any of the Cullens into an ant and squash them, or a banana and eat them, etc
