I love the twilight movies but overall i think HP is better.

On the whole, the Harry Potter movies are really good. Compared to the books, absolutely crap, but still good (or at least tolerable, in the case of David Yates).

Twilight's lack of plot was so much clearer in the movie because we had to put up with Kristen and Robe's horrid acting.

Harry Potter has witches in it. And the question was WITCH movie is better. Lulz


But even if it was WHICH, it's no contest. HARRY POTTER!!!

Well, Harry Potter movies are a lot more exciting. Twilight was pretty dull, you have to admit. New Moon was a little more exciting, but still, most of it is just either Edward and Bella hangin out all happy or them both being incredibly depressed, and unless you're a Hardcore Twilight fan and you actually enjoy watching that, you probably wouldn't enjoy the movie much. Harry Potter on the other hand, is actually entertaining to those who don't like Harry Potter that much and it's still fun to watch even if you haven't read the books. Twilight is pretty painful to hav to endure if you haven't read the books, and sometimes it's even painful to endure if you HAVE read the books.

Lugojami, did you argue their points? Nope, you immediately transgressed into Argumentum ad Hominem. Even if nati30 and AprilCandy42 was indeed stupid as you claim, would it diminish their arguments? Seriously, looking at their arguments, I can tell that they at least thought about it, while you must have pondered about 30 miliseconds before going into a personal attack.

If I now happened across a well-constructed argument from a Twilight fan and immediately discredited it by questioning their sanity/brains/whatever, wouldn't they be angered at least? And wouldn't it be a ridiculous argument, since the post was well-constructed?

Stupidity of the person does not always translate into stupidity of the argument.
