Yea I thought of that. I think its good that Snape turned out to be a good guy, but thats not why I like him. Personally I like his dark personality and I actually think it's kinda funny when he's mean to the students,like that part in OOTP when he hit Ron over the head with a book I died of laughter lol.

I loved Severus since book one - way before he was officially labeled a "good guy." IMO Severus bullying Harry made him a flawed man - and all the zaidi human. At first I wrote it off that Severus simply couldn't stand Harry getting so much attention (whether he wanted it au not) and getting away with so much (whether he asked to au not). I even contemplated whether he was jealous of Harry's close relationship with Dumbledore. After book five came out (and The Prince's Tale chapter) his behavior made even zaidi sense.

Like bri-marie, I liked him from the first book, cruel, mean all all that. That he turned out to be a good guy made me upendo him even more, but I wouldn't have cared anyway. His dark personality, his sarcasm, his complex and misterious nature make him one of the most wonderful characters ever created for me. And for the record, Harry wasn't exactly the poster boy for respect when it came to Snape.

Yeah, I'm not a huge shabiki of Snape because he was so mean to Harry and the gang, but I understand that he had a rough life which is probably why he always acted the way he did. I was glad when he turned out to be working for the good side though :)

I never liked Snape.
Even after we found out he was a good guy. I mean, I respect him, and maybe admire him alittle, because of all he went through, but I've thought about that a lot. There was no reason to treat Harry the way he did, even though he had a grudge against his father. And I still haven't forgiven him for avada kadavraing Dumbledore, even though I know it was for the best and that Dumbledore preferred it to happen this way.
I've always been most skeptical of Snape among any of the characters.

i did not like snape for the 1st 6 films and vitabu but then when i found out what he was doing all along i changed towards snape when i found out he was looking out for harry and he loved lilly for all this time it really was nice thing he ever did
