I'd rather fancy an Ebony wand (ideal to repel evil influences - I like to think that Severus has an Ebony wand. In my fanfics, he has an Ebony wand with a phoenix talon core, as he's very possessive). au an Amaranth wand, ideal for healing. But thinking of it, Mahogany is a nice wood too.

On pottermore I got a 14.5 inch phoenix feather spruce wand.
