What makes wewe a TRUE Harry Potter fan?

well of course i have a medal in the spot, i own all the hp vitabu in many editions and i think that i know almost EVERYTHING about harry potter!! but wat makes me a real shabiki is the way i feel about the hp characters and the whole story...now after the 7books have published, i've fell the agony for the new book coming soon, the relief that harry made it this year, the excitement that voldemort was defeated again, the annoyance that ron acted like a total dork, the happiness that harry had his Marafiki inayofuata to him, the feeling of completion when the headmaster explained wat was goin on in the end of the book, the depression that sirius, dumbledore and so many others died, the empty space inside me when the serie was over...
i think that these make me a TRUE harry potter fan, the feelings that got me closer to the fictional characters and let me hope with them "till the very end" as rowling said..

I think its all about feeling. When wewe learn about & connect to certain characters wewe tend to get hooked. The Potter stories were so easy to get Lost in the stories.

I think that a true shabiki is someone who truly loves the stories and is thankful that J.K. Rowling shared them with us. I don't think that it's about how much wewe own of the series, how many medali wewe have, etc. I think it's about your upendo for the characters of the stories and truly whishing and wanting to make it to the end with them, even though it's fictional. It's not when wewe started kusoma them, how au why, it's what wewe feel whilst kusoma them and how wewe grow zaidi upendo for the charatcers as the story develops. wewe go through the same emotions and experiences that they go through and end up feeling so in-tune with the books, that wewe are part of it, because if something were to happen to one of the characters, it would end up affecting wewe somehow- maybe not necessarily crying, but you'd feel a loss, and that's how much you've grown with the vitabu yourself. I think that as long as wewe truly upendo the series, characters and great writing, no one can deny that you're a true fan. :)

The thing i own. i even collect harry potter stuff! dolls, books, beans, and more! i luuuuuv harry potter and i want to be in the deathly hallows movie but that is 1% happening.

I don't own anything except the vitabu and DVDs, kind of grew out of xollections stuff (except my X-Files collection, but that's not the point :P)

So I guess what makes me a shabiki is the things I know, the frequency I re-read the vitabu with, the fanfictions I read zaidi often than I read the actual books. I don't care for medali and stuff like that, but I do upendo to meet people who share the same passions I do, so I should add, the amount of new people I met after I read the vitabu :)

well i own the dvds, books, the games and collector items and also i started kusoma the vitabu before the sinema ever were out!!!

Being a true Harry Potter shabiki is only a matter of opinion. Sure, we'd all like to think that we're all true HP fans, but to other people we may not be. So...I say just upendo HP and all of its glory and don't let anyone tell wewe what wewe are and what wewe aren't. :) I just know that I upendo Harry Potter to death.

...And Alan Rickman, Severus Snape, Jason Isaacs and Lucius Malfoy.

i have watched all the movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way I connect to the HP universe and its message.
The way I relate to my fav character - Severus.
The fanfics I write, mostly about him.
The way I relate to the House of Slytherin and the qualities of that House.
The locket I have in which I have an image of Severus and another one of the Slytherin crest.

To me wewe have to have read the vitabu (and honestly I feel like wewe have to upendo them far zaidi than the movies) - but who am I to say what makes people true fans? That's just the case for me :]

What makes me a true fan? I just upendo the story, and the writing, everything about the books! I have a Slytherin hat and a few replica wands, but even if I didn't have those, I'd still be a fan, because I don't believe wewe have to have every single McDonald's novelty plastic toy, wewe just have to simply upendo it.

You're a TRUE shabiki if wewe like and enjoy the vitabu and movies. It's really that simple.

Not everyone can afford to Cosplay au but a ton of merchandise. Not everyone can afford to buy tickets and see the movie thrice in the theatre.

Not everyone has time to earn a medal on this spot.

I really do hate it when people set standards as to what makes a person a fan. Especially if alisema people base the standards on things like "you're not a shabiki if wewe don't like Harry!"

plus i own a harry potter wand, harry potter Robe, Harry Potter Tie, and Harry Potter scarf, i own all 8 sinema (plus extra copies if the disks get scratched), 5 Harry Potter video games, i own almost every book, and i still prefer quidditch then vampire baseball anyday

It's simple: having read the books/watched the films (preferably both) and liked them a lot. Getting emotionally attached to them. Possibly them being your favourite series, au one of your favourites.

It isn't to do with collecting merchandise au having medali here au anything of that sort.
