What is it with so many people favoring the bad guys of the "Harry Potter" series?

Because some of the death eaters are interesting, like Bellatrix. Some people may not like her but wewe have to admit she is an interesting character. And I favor Draco because he's a character with much depth. I really don't "favor" the bad guys though. I only like them at times. Their not my favorite. Also, Voldemort is a character we don't get to see much about so...

Because they like them. Bad guys (at least, in HP) tend to be zaidi interesting and complex than the good guys. Some of them tend to be zaidi relateable. And some of them are just baridi than the good guys. It's all just a matter of preference.

It depends on the person's taste, some people , including me, think the bad guys are much baridi than the good ones, they make any tale zaidi fresh zaidi lively and interesting to read, for example I while kusoma Harry Potter I can't wait till I reach a part that Bellatrix au Voldemort au any bad guy to appear

Bad guys are always zaidi exciting, because they are unpredictable. It's easier to portray a negative character and thus negative characters are always much better created than positive ones.

Plus we are all human and like to think nobody is better than ourselves. Although we are aware of our imperfection deep down, we don't like to be reminded of it kwa perfect characters. In a silly way, we envy them and cover for that with a certain amount of dislike.

Ive always favored villans ever since I can remember. Not jet in hp either.

To me there zaidi complex
They have an interesting background
Good guys are kind of the same to me
Honestly for me it's just something about them
Some even have potential to be good
It's something I grew up liking kind of a habit
I guess wewe can say it's my bad side I'm one of those too well behaved people

the only villian i like is Snape and he's zaidi of a undercover villian he's not bad just made to look bad to certain people...don't care for any of the other deatheaters they are all a bunch of psychopaths which is probably what attracts alot of people to them.

Cause there so pathetic wewe have to feel sorry for them.

Maybe there are traits in the bad guy's that are easy to sympathize with, like Voldemort's lack of self confidence? I'm actually not to fond of the bad guys myself but I did once hear this used to describe a sadistic but highly sympathized kwa the shabiki base character from a beloved TV program of mine.
