Has anyone else noticed how Michael Gambon's performance as Dumbledore really improved?

i thought, in this film he finally did a good proper Dumbledore as described in the books. Cause in awali films he was rather moody and angry, in this film he was very caring and just as Dumbledore should really be. Is it just me who had noticed this?

It isn't his acting. He didn't improve, he just had to play in the 5th part a moody old guy, and in the 6th part this really funny guy. so it's not the improvement of his acting, it's the improvment of the director's orders and better lines, and that sort of stuff...I think he was always very good!

yeah, i agree. he still wans't 100% but it was a lot better. before this he seemed so...harsh. not at all like the kindly dumbledore i imagined. But in this one he really showed zaidi kindness and a softer side. very good.
