Being sorted into Slytherin is one of the biggest things that will happen in Hogwarts. Not only are Slytherins described to be pure-blooded, prejudiced and evil, and no one in Hogwarts seems to like them.

First, how many dark lords have been sorted into Slytherin? Lord Voldemort, one of the most evil Dark lords ever, is the main one. He was cunning, sly and ambitious. But could he have been better? The Harry Potter book states that teachers liked him and his charm.

But Lord Voldemort isn’t the problem. It’s the fact that when people think of him, they know he was sorted into Slytherin. Many other Dark Lords had graduated from Hogwarts, all in Slytherin as stated kwa Hagrid in the Philosophers Stone. This would have something to do with the blatant dislike for the Slytherin house.

Snobby purebloods always get sorted into Slytherin. Sirius Black was the first ever non-Slytherin from the Ancient and Noble house of Black. All known Malfoys were sorted into Slytherin as well as other children of death eaters.

Because of this, children in Slytherin are often portrayed as junior Death Eaters. A lot of children who go from Slytherin do end up being dark, but not just because of their parentage.

It is generally because other houses hate them. For what reason? For being ambitious? The classical example of this is the Marauders and Severus Snape. The reason why Severus Snape turned dark (or a large portion of the reason) was because of the Marauders torture.

And to who could Severus Snape turn to? The Marauders were Gryffindors, and were largely favoured. Minerva McGonagall was even sad about Peter Pettigrew dying, claiming to have only been hard on him to push him further. Even Dumbledore wouldn’t go against them. Dumbledore largely favoured, as shown in the Deathly Hallows, them, and they liked Dumbledore back. James Potter trusted him enough to give the headmaster his prized vazi, pazia of invisibility.

And as for other teachers, can wewe name a few apart from Professor Severus Snape who ever favoured the Slytherins? Gryffindors practically rule the school at Hogwarts, and Slytherins are unpopular with the other three houses. In a Quidditch match, for example, when Gryffindor scored, the whole school cheered minus the Slytherins and a few Ravenclaws. When Slytherin scored, everyone booed, except the Slytherins.

And with a Headmaster who used to be a Gryffindor, as well as a Deputy Headmistress who used to be a Gryffindor and is the head of the house, who is going to stand up for them apart from themselves?

Not only that, but Harry Potter’s nemesis is Draco Malfoy, a Slytherin, who has two minions, described as brainless. Pansy Parkinson is described as a pug-faced girl, who speaks shrilly. The Slytherin Quidditch captain, Marcus Flint, is described as looking like he had some troll blood in him. The rest of the Slytherins are described as looking like a nasty bunch.

This makes us think that Slytherin is evil, turning them against us. But is that really fair, seeing how they are judged kwa people for their past, when the other houses hate them and the teachers do not stand up for them?

•“Tired of walking in on Harry, Hermione and Ron all over the school, Professor McGonagall had aliyopewa them permission to use the empty Transfiguration classroom at lunchtimes.”

 Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley
Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley
I just want to state right away that J. K. Rowling is in no way sexist. This is about the mashabiki and again, not all of them.

Ginerva Molly Weasley. The upendo of Harry Potter's life, the mother of his children. Headstrong, smart, cunning, quick-thinking, and fierce. The hero to many girls, young and old, and the object of affection to many boys out there as well.

Hermione Jane Granger. The upendo of Ron Weasley's life, the mother of his children. Also headstrong, smart, cunning, quick-thinking, and just as fierce, if only in a slightly different way. Hermione is possibly the most well-known of the...

Minerva McGonagall walked down the corridor with her head held high; she simply couldn't help but feel pleased with herself. And, who could, for that matter? She had finally done it, she was finally a teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The young Transfiguration teacher walked confidently into the great hall on her first siku of teaching, and she felt a small jolt of satisfaction as she passed kwa the Gryffindor meza, jedwali on her way to the staff table. It was not that she had ever disliked sharing meals with her fellow...

In the book, it looks like they were closer to the cave.
In the book, it looks like they were closer to the cave.
If wewe are like the millions of other Harry Potter mashabiki out there, wewe have been keeping up with every little bit of Half Blood Prince film information that has leaked out so far. After reviewing the five trailers (including the Japan one) and first look that have come out (not including ABC's five, one dakika long previews), mashabiki now have a general idea of what will be in the film from the book, and what is changed/won't be in the film. Thus what follows is what I have gathered to be the scenes included in the film from the books, and what we will see having been changed from book to film...

here are some things i came up with that define people who just like harry potter from people who are OBSESSED!

1.    Here are some zaidi things that wewe would do if wewe were really obsessed with harry potter:

2.    You’ve made your own firebolt...and played quidditch on it with your Marafiki who also have their own broomsticks.

3.    You don’t understand when your Marafiki can't cry on demand, because all wewe have to do is think about dobby.

4.    When someone says "i'm serious" wewe say "no you're not!"

5.    When...

"Who wants to be in Slytherin? I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" - James Potter (DH)
Imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" - Draco Malfoy (PS)
Similar yet different!
Quite ironic isn't it? Father of the hero and arch nemisis of the hero have the same line. I don't think it's a coincidence that both James and Draco quote a similar line about a house they were prejudiced against. Both boys were brought up as the only sons in rich pureblood families. Both were undoubtedly spoilt. Both were definitely raised with a house prejudice. Both were definitely arrogant, attention-seeking...

 Hello Eddie, we meet again!
Hello Eddie, we meet again!
Hi guys, I managed to see this Harry Potter spin-off just now at the cinema with 2 of my classmates. Here's my review about the film since that there is no shabiki club about this movie yet!

The Story

Unlike the typical Harry Potter that I had read and watch the series, the story is extraordinary unusual especially in the Harry Potter Universe. I was a bit disappointed because they should have shown a bit of Lord Voldemort's background, and I thought that Credence was an ancestor of Voldemort due to their mannerism, motives and magic. Secondly, I was not very happy that they use the term 'No-Maj'...
