Lily's POV

It's no secret that when Hugo left again, I was the first one to break down. I cried, and screamed for him to come back.. and he never did. But he will someday, I know he will. Hugo would never let me down. We're best friends, Hugo and I. Everything will be okay in the end.

Rose's POV

All of us crowd kwa Hugo's bed, but with the major size of us we all have to back up to give Hugo personal space. He sits up, looks at us, and speaks.

''What are wewe doing here?''

''To visit of course,'' Lily mumbles. ''Would wewe think we wouldn't care about you?''

He doesn't answer her. I can tell that this pisses James off, but he remains silent. This might be the one moment that we can get Hugo to listen, to come back to us. And then everything could be back in balance again.
But in reality, it probably wouldn't because we'd still have to stop Abby, Blake, and Kendall from making the Horcruxes. But it wouldn't be so much of an impossible task: We'd have Hugo and Lily on our side, both knowing information on the issue.

This moment is very important. ''Hugo..'' I start. ''Uncle Harry is here, do wewe want to say hi?''

It was a lame attempt at conversation, but everyone's thankful because the moments of silence were too awkward and pretty much impossible to fill. ''Uncle Harry,'' Hugo nods. Harry nods back.
It's pretty insane how Hugo is utterly calm, considering that he just fell off a broomstick and could've been seriously hurt. Louis steps up now, taking a chance to get Hugo back on our side.

''Hugo.. did wewe know how much we missed you?''

Hugo says nothing. ''Hugo, we really do miss you. Ever since you've been.. hanging around with Abby and Blake, you've abandoned us and we've been the ones cleaning up the mess.''

Hugo still says nothing. ''Hugo..'' Louis is getting impatient now. ''Please come back?''

Hugo stares at us intently, trying to see if this is just a practical joke au a trick. It's not. In this moment, I am hoping with all my moyo that Hugo will come back, that he'll help us destroy the Horcruxes and everything will be right again. Finally, Hugo answers, but does not speak.

His answer is a nod.

Lunch, The Great Hall

It's been a week since Hugo's accident. I don't even know why he was outside that window - but I have a feeling Abby and Blake and possibly Kendall had something to do with it.
But he's over them now. He sits with us at lunch, hangs out with Lily during class, and everything's the way it's supposed to be. Sort of.
We still have to destroy the horcruxes, because Abby and Blake aren't just going to stop because Hugo left. They're going to keep going, keep making them because they need to. They're power hungry. So, we continue the family meetings. Sadly.
But I have meetings of my own as well. Every other day, I meet with Scorpius in the maktaba at 8:00. We don't do much, just talk. But it's still peaceful. Something that I'll never take for granted.
I look over my shoulder to see Abby glaring at the six of us, Aimee, Lizzie, Albus, James, Hugo and I. Not only has Hugo left them, but we're still deciding on if Lily should too. We might still need information. Lily sits directly inayofuata to Blake, who's facial expression is just a smirk. He thinks he's got us fooled:

But the joke is really on him.

Family Meeting, Hagrid's Hut - 8:00

We're walking to Hagrid's Hut when I suddenly hear a twig snap behind us. James and I spin around, wands out. But no figure is revealed. Lily just gapes into the darkness behind us, Hugo and Albus standing close behind her.

''I tell you, it's mad..'' James mutters. ''That's the third time that's happened.''

In my mind, a orodha goes through my head suggesting who it might be. Abby. Blake. Kendall. Harry. But no matter who it is, I'm not afraid. We may have stuff we need to hide, but we're experts at not telling a soul about them.
We continue down the path to Hagrid's Hut, but when we finally arrive not one light is on. James tentatively knocks and calls hello.

We get no answer.

James tries again, zaidi quickly this time. ''Hello?'' He calls impatiently. All of the sudden, Lily gasps, and all of us turn to face her. She says nothing but points at something in the Forbidden Forest.

It's a tiny beam of light.

The Forbidden Forest - 8:15

None of us songesha for a moment, we all stand completely still. Finally Hugo speaks. ''Do wewe think it's Blake, au Louis?''

None of us have an answer for him. James suggests that we just venture into the forest, because we're all armed and with five of us, it'd be harder to corner us all. I'm a little reluctant to go into the forest, but, we have to.
We walk inside, and we can tell we're getting closer because the beam of light is getting bigger. James seems to get zaidi excited as we get closer, constantly repeating ''Just a little farther,'' Every five seconds. But I'm getting zaidi and zaidi nervous. What if this is a trap? Where are our cousins? Why are we even doing this? We're barely experienced witches and wizards.
Finally, we see the giant beam of light clearly as it's right in front of us. It's a Patronus, and it is a Jack Russell Terrier.

I know who that patronus belongs do instantly, and Hugo does too. Lily, James, and Albus realize after a couple sekunde has passed.

''Dad?'' I whisper. ''Where are you?'' No sound comes, no answer. Now I'm beginning to really freak out. But instead of an answer, the dog just walks deeper into the forest. We all start to follow it, and I'm leading.
It comes to an abrupt halt, and waits. We wait with it. Finally, after about two minutes, a whole herd of Centaur pass us by.

''Awkward..'' James says, and I stifle laughing. This whole situation is awkward.

We keep following the dog, getting deeper and deeper into the forest and farther and farther away from the castle. Finally, we arrive at: Bill, Fleur, Percy, George, Angelina, Ginny, Harry, my dad, and my mum. And all our cousins.

Harry gives us a smirk. ''We have a plan.''
