Martha didn't know when the baby would come. She didn't want the humans to take the baby and make her preform tricks to. She didn't want the baby to go through the same cruel things she had to go through, she had to think of a way to make his/her life, a good life...
October 1st 1899 9:00am
The baby was born and she was a girl.She was born during the night while the humans where still sleeping. The museum does't open till 12 today. She was calm and quiet. She had blue eyes that looked like Dracula's eyes, and black curly hair like Martha's hair. She used her cape to make a black dress for her to wear, and used toilet paper for her diaper.
A human came and looked at Martha and realized she had had the baby. Martha hid the baby quickly, and told the humans that it died and she showed the human her mto that was wrapped with her cape,(she used the left overs of the cape that she didn't use, and from the outside it looked like there was a baby in it). The humans fell for her trick and belived that that the baby was dead.
From that day, Martha shared her chakula with the baby and played with her at night, and nyumbani schooled her with only a pice of paper and a pen, and every time a human would come, the baby would stay in the basement, in Martha's room where humans couldn't go. The upper floor was where she would usually stay from opening time to closing time, and the baby would sleep all siku and wake up at night and Martha stayed up for a while with the baby but then would fall asleep.
6th July 2011 5am
"Mom, Im 111, and I can't take it any more! I have been hear for a really long time, I want to know zaidi and see more, so far for my whole life I have only seen your kitanda room and that bathroom and this basement! What is out there?! The place wewe always go in the morning?!You have told me about the sun, garlic mkate what ever that is, and humans! I don't want to hear, i want to see the world." The baby is no longer a baby, she finally had the guts to tell Martha how she felt. Martha sits on a chair and looks up. "I think its time I tell you, every thing and the truth.." The child sits on the floor and listens. "I lied to you, and I am sorry. wewe do have a dad and wewe have a big sister. I don't know if they are alive, but this will be your last night here. I told wewe that there are monsters but there are other creatures in this world, they are enemies, they are called humans. They made me go through a cruel life,all I have been doing is trying to protect wewe from them, so I have been hiding wewe down here from them. But I know now is the time to let wewe go, wewe can take care of your self so wewe are ready to live on your own. I'm not going to trap wewe here forever, I don't wan't this to be your whole life, your old enough to turn in to a bat, so your old enough to go out to the world, meet other monsters, find your zing, have a happy family and a happy life." "How about you, I don't wan't to leave you, but I also don't wan't to miss out the world." "I can't go, au else the humans would realize and start to look for me, and find both of us. Also I can't escape through that window, I can't fly." Martha stood up and took out a box. "You can go, but don't come back for me, and I am happy that wewe are having a good life, thats all I wish for. Take this box with wewe and open it when wewe cant see our home." The child started to cry and hugged Martha and wouldn't let go."I'm not going, I won't leave you.." Martha pushed her away, and shouted "GO, wewe have to..." She came closer to hug her again but Martha pushed her away and got furious and shouted "GO NOW! I don't matter any more, and I'm just doing this for your good!" Martha's face looked angry, the child turned in to a bat and took the box and flew to the window and looked back at Martha with her ears down, and crying really hard, Martha turned her back and ignored her, and the child left.
After a few minutes, Martha laid down on the kitanda and started to cry... She didn't want her to leave, she wanted her to stay with her forever, and be safe, but for the good, she didn't want to trap her here forever, she didn't want to get angry au any thing, but she had to, to make her go...
Martha loved her so much, she had to make the painfullest decision of her life....
