House MD mashabiki General graphics contest [Round 10]

so we all have a blast with mrs h's graphics contest over on the House spot...many of us enjoy making things with photoshop/gimp/paint/etc.

so i thought id be fun to do a GENERAL graphics contest.

This was approved my MrsHouse so dont worry! :D
And as always, a special thanks to her!!!!

Rules
-8 participants
-first come first serve
-NO HOUSE CHARACTERS/CAST MEMBERS
-graphic catogory (ie. wallpaper/icon/header/banner)
-depicts rounds theme
-ORIGINAL WORK
NOTE:ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
DURING ICON ROUNDS, YOU MAY SUBMIT UP TO 2 ENTRIES, BUT DONT HAVE TO


this will be much like link
-weekly event(deadline will be sunday as well)
-can drop out/enter at anytime
-feedback is always welcome :)

it can be any character/actress/actor/ANYTHING as long as it has NOTHING to do with House md

voting rules
-VOTE ON:
-----QUALITY
-----ARTISTIC-ness
-----how well the theme is portrayed
NOT if you like/dislike the show/actor/etc.!!!!

-all voters that choose themselves will recieve a warning, 3 warnings and they will be disqualified from the contest

Ok, I'm in. Death is the theme right? How graphic can we be with that? Ooo that sounds creepy! LOL! I mean, blood? Guts? Where do we draw the line. I am really into death imagery, and sometimes what I think looks cool really freaks people out...

I had an idea and just thought I would pitch it here and see what people thought:

I was thinking about 'Project Runway' and how they do "collections" in the fashion industry, and I thought maybe it would be fun if we could have a graphics collection. Like, maybe we 2 weeks or a month to come up with 1 wallpaper, 1 banner, 1, header, 5 icons and 'wildecard' fanart (something of any size or shape or whatever), based on a topic of our choice (since it will be such a big creative effort) and then we choose the best overall "collection".

Anyone like that idea? Is it too ambitious? Or just lame?

thats a great idea missy, i love pr and that is actually a truly fantastic suggestion
im down...think if its gonna be like that it should be a month.

man then people would have this, mrs house's, and the "pr" contest. not to mention all the other great things.

im amazed how creative people here are and how much fun we all have.

anywho...i vote yes lol

Yeah, a month is a better idea, especially with all the other contests that are running.

Yeah, figured it would run alongside this contest. So we still have the weekly rounds for this contest, but every month we also have a 'Project Art-Way' (LOL! Like, 'Project Runway' but with art) contest that is kinda running in the background.

It looks better if you enlarge it, cause the sharpening makes it looks distorted when it's smaller!
