It was a mess in all the rooms of House and Cuddy’s nyumbani they bought a mwaka after they got together. One couldn’t tell which room is which since things were in a certain room which is not supposed to be there. The three mwaka old Rachel was crying so loud while she was being carried kwa Cuddy who was looking tired, upset and angry. Her hair was a disaster as they head for the baby’s room.
Cuddy: <looking pissed off at Rachel> Stop crying! <The cry of the baby continues and Cuddy looked at the baby then she placed it down heavily on the basinet but making sure she didn’t hurt it, it made a quite loud bang. House appeared on the doorway>
House: <calm but with a bossy manner> What the hell are wewe doing?!
Cuddy: I’m getting pissed off!
House: I know wewe are pissed off but wewe don’t have to bang the kid! <House tried to get Rachel but Cuddy pulled the baby>
Cuddy: Put that down <she was able to carry Rachel and tried to calm it down> I could do this!
House: <rolling his palm into his face and now irritated> I told wewe to bring back her nanny but wewe wouldn’t.
Cuddy: <angrily looking at him> wewe really wanted to bring her back? She misbehaved, Greg. Almost ---
House: <now shouting too> Oh so you’re gonna kicked me out too if I misbehave just because I’m just a husband?! <Cuddy looked at him and he did as well then she looked at the baby who’s she’s about to lay down in the crib>
Cuddy: <calmly> Please go, just go… <House still looked at her pissed off too then he went out kicking the door behind him>
That night, Wilson found House in the doctor’s lounge placing some jam, jamu in his sandwich. He stood in front of his friend and began making his coffee.
Wilson: I’m surprise you’re not home…
House: My home’s a mess…
Wilson: You’re off right? You’re not on call. ---- How are the things going on with wewe and Cuddy?
House: <closed the jam, jamu jar and walked to the sofa> We’ve been fighting.
Wilson: <looking at his friend who just sat down while eating the sandwich> Fighting? Really? <he sat down as well inayofuata to his friend> It’s normal. Husband and wife do argument sometime but they’ll patch things up.
House: wewe don’t know that. Three weeks. For three weeks words fly from left and right in the house.
Wilson: <shook his head> Maybe she’s pregnant. Horm---
House: She’s not pregnant.
Wilson: How’d wewe know?
House: Sure dude, I would know that. What’s the point of being a doctor?
Wilson: Maybe she wanted to go back to work? Go out? Relax?
House: We already talked about it, she’s not going back to work. She wanted to attend to Rachel so I agreed.
Wilson: Are wewe saying wewe guys are heading to a separation?
House: Can’t handle it. I spend half my life just pulling her into my life and letting her go is as painful as I couldn’t imagine.
Wilson: au maybe she wanted another baby?
House: <looking at Wilson> You’re joking right? --- She can’t handle another baby.
Wilson: <looked at House> wewe guys tried? <House nodded> But didn’t work? <House nodded again> Maybe it is the one she’s being upset about. She wants a baby with you.
House: Knock it off. She knows I wanted a baby too but ---
Wilson: I think I know how to solve your problem, House…
House: My marriage problem? <Chuckled>
Wilson: wewe want a baby? Find a baby maker and ----
House: <looking at Wilson> No, no…
Wilson: I didn’t say ----
House: <standing up> Wilson, I upendo Lisa… I upendo my wife… I would never do that… <leaves the room>
That evening, House found himself lying down inayofuata to Cuddy. She had her eyes closed and moved on her side not facing her husband. House looked at her and back to the ceiling.
House: Lisa… <Lisa grunted> Why are wewe doing this? If we ----
Cuddy: <with a sleepy voice> Can we just talk about this tomorrow? I’m tired… Go to sleep…
House sighed and moved closer to her but she removed his hands that were on her arm then he laid on his back then went out the bed.
