Cuddy didn't know what to say. She was shocked. They had had a relationship for nearly half a year. She was pregnant with his child and now she had been asked, at 8 am on a krisimasi morning, to marry him. She tossed it up in her mind...
"YES!" she cried. Her arms were flung around his neck.
They embraced for the best part of 3 minutes, never letting go. Cuddy broke it off before saying that her family had been invited to come around.
"Nooooo!" House cried "Why?"
"Because I invited them around,"
"So now pregnant Lisa is going to rush around the house making sure everything is perfect, as well as cooking a krisimasi dinner? I don't get it, it isn't even your religon." he argued "You're Jewish!"
"Oh well. I don't really care and neither do my parents au Wilson."
With that Cuddy walked away and entered the shower.

The doorbell rang. House was playing with Rachel and Cuddy was slaving away in the kitchen. House got up and saw Wilson at the door step.
"Hey, merry christmas, Greg,"
"Hey thanks, c'mon in."
"So, did wewe pop the question?"
"Yup," House replied blankly
"And?"
"She alisema yes!" he became all excited at those words. "Do wewe wanna bia au something stronger?"
"Yeah, a bia will be fine,"
"Are wewe sure, I mean we have the whole siku to get through,"
"I don't need to be drunk to get through krisimasi like wewe do, Greg."

When does upendo become something we need, rather than something we want? upendo was seen as something special a long time ago. Now upendo is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. upendo is common currency when wewe are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older wewe get. Do we not care about the substance of what upendo was and not what it has been made into today kwa commercialisation from American sinema and televisheni commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience upendo for real, can we maoni and judge others who are in Love. upendo means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of upendo is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? upendo is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
Love.
Love.
