Cuddy: What’s going on?
(Cuddy got up out of her chair, and looked at House as he was still looking at Amber; who was now leaning against the ukuta behind Cuddy.)
House: Nothing.
(Cuddy looked behind her, then looked back at House.)
Cuddy: Are you, hallucinating?
(Amber gestured to House not to say anything.)
House: I need to go.
(House left, leaving Cuddy puzzled and concerned.)
--
As soon as House left, Cuddy immediately used her office phone to call Wilson.
Wilson: Hello?
Cuddy: I need wewe to do something.
Wilson: Do what?
Wilson was finishing talking to Cuddy when House walked in and sat down on the sofa.
Wilson: So that’s great news.
Cuddy: He’s there with wewe isn’t he?
Wilson: We’ll catch up soon, bye.
(Wilson hung up and looked at a bemused House.)
House: Making plans with your new girlfriend?
Wilson: What’s up?
(House and Wilson had a stare down when House’s face drained of all of its blood when Amber, of all people, appeared inayofuata to Wilson.)
Wilson: wewe look like you’ve seen a ghost, are wewe sure you’re all right?
(Amber waved slightly and both Wilson and Amber were smiling, like an eerie picture of what life could have been like.)
House: I’m fine.
Amber: Now, if this won’t freak wewe out I don’t know what will.
Wilson: Seriously, what’s wrong?
(Wilson looked to the side of him, where House couldn’t stop looking at.)
Wilson: Are you, seeing things?
House: I did shoot-up before I came in this morning.
Wilson: Of course. The insomnia, how’s that working out for you?
Amber: Yes, how am I working out for you?
House: I err—
(With that, Amber vanished and Wilson looked worryingly at House.)
Wilson: wewe need an MRI.
(House gave Wilson the look of defeat.)
--
Wilson was with Cuddy in her office looking at the MRI scan of House’s head.
Cuddy: Nothing.
Wilson: If it’s not a tumour au something else making him see things, then it’s got to be psychological.
Cuddy: The fact that it’s stopping him from sleeping is making it worse. I can’t have him treating high-risk patients when he’s hungover from drinking until he passes out every night.
Wilson: We don’t know how he’s coping; this could just be an anomaly.
(Cuddy gave a stern look at Wilson.)
Wilson: What do wewe expect me to do?
Cuddy: I don’t want wewe doing anything.
(Cuddy grabbed her briefcase, mkoba and coat.)
Wilson: What are wewe going to do? Where are wewe going?
Cuddy: Something I should have done a long time ago.
--
It was late, the crickets chirped outside and everywhere was dimly lit.
(Knock-Knock-Knock)
House was lying on his sofa, in physical pain as well as psychological pain.
Cuddy: House it’s me.
(House sat up, and opened the door.)
House: What do the tests say?
(Cuddy stood in his doorway with a tough look on her face.)
House: That’s why you’re here right?
(House walked to his piano, and sat down at it.)
Cuddy: There’s…nothing wrong with you.
(Cuddy closed the door behind her, and unbuttoned her kanzu, koti and took it off before sitting on House’s sofa.)
Amber: Oh come on. wewe can’t figure this out for yourself?
(Amber was sitting inayofuata to House on the kinanda stool.)
House: I know.
Cuddy: wewe know what it is?
House: I know what it isn’t. I know that…
Amber: Tell her.
Cuddy: It’s okay. wewe don’t have to…
Amber: You do.
House: I should…and I will.
(Cuddy stood up and walked towards the piano, sitting where Amber was sitting; inayofuata to House on the kinanda stool.)
Cuddy: I can stay tonight…if wewe want me to.
(House stared down at the kinanda keys, and reflected in the silence.)
House: Thank you.

House to Cuddy point of view (House's POV):
You're hopelessly lost, because today
The world seems a bit too big for you
I was pretty sure I've seen it all
Until wewe came, opened up my heaven
And ironically my hell
I get torn down
You're glad to get torn down with me
Well that's something I've never seen
It seems that I'm a bit wrong about the world
As of toady
Because wewe came and showed me wrong
wewe take me down, wewe bring me up
Well, at least wewe made a change
Despite the things wewe cannot see
Despite the world attire
And despite the truths wewe wish to change
wewe hide well, that i have to admit
But I can see right through you.
