Huddy positive makala in Spanish magazine 

I only understand a bit of Spanish, but this one really seems to be avoiding the "train wreck and absolute disaster" approach, for a change...

If anybody can translate it, so we can get a better understanding, i would be very grateful:)

basically it says that house and cuddy are really committed to overcome the obstacles that come in their way like the fact that cuddy is his boss and has a kid and SPOILER ALERT their age difference. It also says that they are both terrified for this relationship and they count on Wilson and Sam to help them. then it says that Candice Bergen and Aber Tamblyn are guest starring, nothing new there...
Non Huddy related: Katie Jacobs says that the reason why 13 is gone is very in character and Chase is getting a lover.
Non House related: Hugh says that making the show in the US when is family is in London has been hard on his marriage.
If anyone want me to translate any particular bit i'll be happy to do it. that said i'm only a portuguese girl with some basic knowledge in spanish so i can't be 100% trusted x)

THEIR AGES !! - If I think about what we know about Huddy, there should only be about a 5 year difference between them.

I am sure I read somewhere that they (HUDDY) are very aware of their ages, and are determined to make this relationship work as a result. Lemme go see if I can find it.....

Since Spain is a huge consumer of "House" and Huddy, they gave positive responses. While in US articles, they keep saying how prone for disaster the relationship is...

A, well... We already knew they would never say the truth in the press, so, so far, so good.

OK, i analyzed it all and here are the parts where i would need a bit of help, if somebody could, pretty please, provide it:

1. what does "Este comienzo de algo" mean?

2. "House and Cuddy estan muertos de miedo" - dead with fear?

3. Hugh: "Los dos deseamos que este dure, pero estamos demasiado piendentes de como consequirlo. Si acertamos en la forma, tirara para delante. Si nos equivocamos, no. Aunque, por fin pasara algo". What does this mean?

4. Does "danado" mean "doomed"?

5. What do you think the cut phrase down the page might mean: "Si esto falla, no volvera a inte....."??????? It means that if this fails, it won't..... what?

6. Lisa: "House olvida que Cuddy acaba de terminar con Lucas. Se muestra duro e exigente con ella. En realidad, el tiene miedo en la felicidad, cree que se construye y no se da cuenta de que ya esta en ellos".
I understand this a bit, but i'm not sure i get it right...

7. What does "condena" mean?

8. Hugh: "El compromiso que fuera un descreido resulta ahora total y genuino. ... Lo da todo, aunque sea un tormento".
I know what "tormento" is, but the rest of it is too complicated...

9. Lisa: she says that: He really loves his boss and has to be capable of keeping her "A SU LADO". What does that mean?

And on a happy note, Lisa says that they will work hard at it, because "They both need what they've never had: love".

"a su lado" means "at her side", that mean WITH SHE.

Delia_Beatrice It´s a good question, I think it´s not something "compete", I understand that House tries to solve the love like he want to solve each medical problem, so he gives everything no matters it is a cause of suffering. The first sentence "Que nadie piense que encontraremos la estabilidad" under the title "un problema científico", came to warn "Nobody may think that we reach stability".

Basically what you explained in the other thread: He's able to efface his real self in order to make Cuddy happy; it's difficult, but he tries to give everything for her and for the sake of their relationship.

I also didn't understand why make an issue of the age gap...

@Djunabar....bueno yo intento escribir en inglés pero digo como tu al leerlo lo entiendo pero escribir me cuesta mas y escucharlo tambien me cuesta....

El articulo es interesante lo unico que veo nuevo realmente es lo de la edad aunque seguramente no sea nada no creo que tengan ningun problema con eso...

maybe the age thing was not related to the differences in their ages but the fact that they are both mature adults (44? 51?) and most people don't have multiple relationships past that age if it fails? The "doomed" and everyones comments reminded me of U2 With or Without You "I can't live, with or without you"

yeah thought of it as age difference but yeah maybe it's the mature thing
