hujambo gals! I wrote another chap for you!
It was 1am when Hugh arrived at his house in London. He walked to the door and put the only bag he brought on the floor inayofuata to him. He stared at the house for a while. The house was supposed to be his home, his family’s home, but it didn’t feel like that anymore. Neither did his house in LA au the vacation house in France. The only place that felt like nyumbani was Lisa’s house.
He sat down on the stairs in front of the door. He put his head in his hands and sighed. He wanted nothing zaidi than to go back to the airport and take the inayofuata flight right back to LA. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and smiled as he saw the picture of him and Lisa filling the background. He would probably have to change that into something else soon. He stared at some other pictures of them together, they had been so happy together. Then he got to the picture he loved the most. It was a picture that he took just a few days ago. Lisa was standing in front of the mirror, pulling her shati up a little and thereby inaonyesha a very small, but yet visible, baby bump. She was glowing and smiling brightly. He glanced at the picture one last time then stood up and entered the house…
His children and wife heard him enter the house and quickly went to the hall to see him. He was happy to see his kids again, he hugged all of them. ‘Good to have wewe back here dad.’, Charlie said. Hugh just smiled. When his wife tried to kiss him he quickly turned his head a little so the kiss landed on his cheek. They all went to the living room and talked for a little while. After about 20 dakika they decided to go to bed.
Hugh was lying in his kitanda staring at the ceiling, he couldn’t sleep, he kept thinking about Lisa. He glared at Jo who was already fast asleep at the other side of the kitanda and silently got out. He walked downstairs where his bags were still standing in the hall. He opened one of them and got his laptop. He then went to the living room and put the laptop at the table. He had also taken his phone from his nightstand and connected it to the laptop. He started to sent the pictures from his phone to his laptop. As this would take a while he walked to the jikoni to get something to drink.
When he got back Bill was standing in front of his laptop watching the pictures displayed on the screen. Bill turned around when he heard his dad enter the room again. ‘What are these? Was this a ‘Huddy’ photoshoot? Screen captures from an episode?’, Bill asked. Hugh looked sadly at his feet. ‘Dad?’, Bill asked. Hugh walked over to his son. ‘It’s not…, it… they aren’t Huddy pictures…’, he alisema his words dripping with guilt. ‘So wewe kissing Lisa is…, it… you’re having an affair again.’, Bill alisema angry. Bill didn’t really know what to do au say, he just found out that his dad was having an affair again, he just saw pictures of his father kissing another woman than his mother. It was zaidi hurt than anger that got over him, but he didn’t want to cry. After the hurt the first affair of his father brought, he prayed that it would never happen again. How could his father do this to them?
Lisa hadn’t been out of her house since Hugh had left. She felt like crap. Her days existed of ordering food, eating, throwing up, watching TV, crying and sleeping. She was wearing his shati and his sweatpants, she hadn’t washed them so they still smelled like him. She missed him so much, but she didn’t want to call him. It would make things only zaidi difficult. She was now sitting on the couch, watching TV and cuddling the mto he had slept on for weeks.
Suddenly she heard her doorbell ring. She stood up quickly to see who it was and immediately got disappointed when she saw Robert standing in front of her. ‘He.. ey, are wewe okay?’, Robert stared at the woman in front of him. She looked very tired, was wearing oversized clothes and her eyes were red, most likely from crying. Lisa looked at her feet. Robert entered her house and closed the door. ‘What are wewe doing here? ‘, Lisa asked sweetly. ‘I came to return these movies, my wife really enjoyed them. Thank you.’, he alisema and gave her the movies. They went to sit on the kitanda were Lisa immediately pulled the mto against her again. Robert didn’t really know what to say he’d never seen her like this. ‘Lisa…, is something going on? I.., wewe look so sad…’, Robert alisema gently. Tears started to flow down her cheeks immediately. ‘I miss him so much.’, she sobbed into the pillow.
Robert had gone to the jikoni to get Lisa a glass of water. When he came back she was still hugging the pillow, but she had stopped crying. ‘Here wewe go.’, Robert gave her the water. She took little sips while Robert looked at her concerned. ‘I-I told him… he-he should go back to London, but I…’, she mumbled, ‘I didn’t really want him to go away.’ A new wave of tears came over her and she hugged the mto closer to her. Robert was trying to connect the dots, was Lisa crying because of Hugh? ‘Are wewe telling me that wewe and Hugh…?’, he asked needing her confirmation. Lisa nodded, ‘He didn’t want to leave, I know he didn’t, he really loved us.’ ‘O Lisa…, Robert sighed, ‘What, wait, us?’ Lisa blushed, she hadn’t meant to tell anyone yet, but it seemed there was no way out now. She sighed, ‘Yes, me and well the baby…’ Roberts eyes widened, ‘Are wewe telling me that my friend, Hugh Laurie, cheated on his wife again and then left his pregnant girlfriend behind to go back to his wife and kids?’
