I saw my grandfather who had died and had been buried not even 3-4 weeks earlier in the living room of the house. My grandmother was staying with one of my mom's sisters. Sitting in the chair he always sat in when he was living.

Does a photo count? I have a photo taken in November last year and only realized half a year later that the window on the far left corner behind me has this weird.. shadow/reflection. It's black and white, vaguely resembles a woman wearing all white clothing with long black hair covering her entire face facing straight at my back. In Indonesia here we call it a kuntilanak. At first I doubted it's a real ghost but then I showed it to my friend (he has sixth sense). He said it's real! I was fortunate enough not to see her eyes peeking from her hair *shivers* By the way, it's taken on the 3rd floor of a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) at 6 PM. No tall trees nor anything outside the window that could cast shadow. Sorry, long rant in Engrish xD

ive seen soo many but the storys are too long the most recent one was two days a ago we just had just got a 1950's china cabinet from a bretheren family really cheap and any he night after we got it my said she could hear little foot steps in the dining room all night so my stepdad looks out of their bedroom door and hebsaid he saw a little boy holdin an old womans hand just standing there and two days ago i went upstairs at night and i was f*****g starving i had gotten to he top of the stairs it was freezin up there by the way turned to look towards the kitchen ( the china cabinet is right next tothe entrance of the kitchen ) and i looked at the right hand door of the cabinet and saw like a foggy mist on the glass and saw a hand approach the handle in the reflection hen it just swings open so i pretty much just ignored it went into the kitchen made a couple marmite sandwichs left the kitchen it was still freezin up there like wtf it was cold and i looked into the lounge and noticed the heat pump was on went to the top of he stairs took one for look to the cabinet when i was about to go down and it was closed but im use to this kind of s**t now hahahaha

i hvnt seen a ghost yet.....but hoping 2 meet sooon...heee...he.eee

My sisters and I had a ghost living with us growing up. Her named was Elizabeth and she moved with us every time we moved. My dad did not believe in her until one very early morning he was up alone and the kitchen cabinets started opening and closing by themselves. Also, we would all be in the living room and the dog would stand in the doorway to the dining room and start growling. If you don't believe in ghosts, then you should, They are real!!!

it was over Summer when i was like 6 or 7 . my sister went to put the alarm cuz we were home alone . then the phone rang & it was my dad . Out of the nowhere the back door swung open , the alarm started up extremely loud & we saw this white smoke coming from droor . since my dad was on the phone, he heard what was going & rushed home from across town with my uncol . they thought someone broke into the house . im 21 now & my sisters 25 , We still remembers that summer day .

Therefore, when you see someone or something in your mind, it is really a spirit trying to tell you something... I have yet to figure our what this message is...

I haven't seen a ghost but I a really scary experience: One day everyone was pretty much doing there own thing that day, so I was bored. I called a relative in a my family. All of a sudden there was this very hard bang on my door that was so loud it hurt my ears. I gasped and then immediately, and bravely opened the door. Nothing was there, inside me I felt so scared, but I'm not the type of person to show it. Later that day, my sister was in the family room and was pretending to talk to her Grandma Donna. At least I thought it was pretending but then my sister said that she wished Grandma Donna could give her a sign that she was there, and then all of a sudden a toy that you have to flip on, turned on a then played music. I think I fainted after that because I had enough of ghost for one day. But if anyone thinks that was the end, you're far from right!!! At around eleven when me, my sister, and grandmother were watching a movie, a card that was quite well put on the old chimney moved and then fell. After that my sister whispered in my ear," Look at the shadow climbing up the wall." I looked and then it stopped then vanished. Tell me to my face if that is not creepy or what!!!?????

When I was about 5 years old I woke up during the night and when I looked up over my bed I saw this little boy staring down at me.
Another time when I was about 8 years old I was playing with my brother and cousin in the basement and when I looked down the hall there was the shadow of a man and when I showed it to them they immediately ran away so I ran after them but as I was running up the stairs I was looking down the hall because I was more curious than afraid.
Then when I was 13 years old my sister and I were in the house alone so while I was in my room my sister ran to me telling me there is a shadow of a moving person in the next room over so I grabbed my baton in case it was a burglar but there was no one there but there was a shadow moving around and doors kept closing on their own, so I had her and I run to a friends house down the street until my Mom came home.
Also around that time my sister said there was a smoke in the corner of her room every night and that there was a little boy with red eyes that used to follow me around.
The weird thing is that all of these things happened in completely different houses.

I have never seen one but I have had weird things happen to me. I was in bed one night and I was woken up by someone shaking my shoulder but there was no one there and everyone was in bed. this one may be a coincidence but when I pressed no to answer this question the hoover fell down the stairs. another thing is each night when I go to bed it feels like there is someone standing by my head which used to scare me but I am used to it now. I think there is a ghost in my house but I have never seen it. :)

Indeed I have experienced some scary chilling things -MUCH more than I would like or would wish to share, but I believe in demons & spiritual stuff NOT ghosts. All that bad stuff was BEFORE I was a Christain & prayed about stuff & only thought I was Christian and was a believer. I am GLAD that stuff pushed me to have faith & reach out to God, but I am MORE glad that all that is a thing of the past & a distant memory- not something that continues or that I have to worry about today. I hear lots of stories. I know people believe. I know what has happened to me & I see things as the devil being much smarter-enough to fool people for various reasons & use anything, so I leave peeps to believe what they want -I know what I believe in.

Yeah, I see a creepy white mist that actually went inside my little sister, then some messed up stuff started happening and she told me HE didn't like me and that when I first when onto the computer to simply ask what happened to my sister HE started telling me through my sister that HE wanted everyone to know what he was doing and to continue typing. My parents never believed me until we got a call from over half the neighborhood asking if a HE had visited us ,a lot more of our neighbors pets had died as well with the visit of HE. The church finally got involved and the paster said something about a traveling demon spirit, was looking for a "food" source of some kind and seeing how no one in my neighborhood is very religious the paster said that the demon might of sought refuge here.

My family always experience the paranormal so we are always moving houses (I'm living in house 4 now) and there's always same paranormal chizz in each house.
A black large shadow of a tall thing in a black cloak is always watching me, I see it in the corner of my eye and at night my room is directly under the loft (attic) I can hear heavy footsteps that cause the floor to shake and in my room there's this one corner when it's dark the corner is darker than the rest of the room. I'm always hearing muffled whispers and things are always missing for a few days then they'll end up in a new room.
My best friend's mum is a psychic medium and she said the ghost connects its past to my family so it follows us especially me cause I am sensitive and can sense things paranormal especially....but I don't believe her though

Notice how you'll always see them in the dark? Or when you're already afraid? It's either your imagination, or somebody messing with you.
Also see how they're always the very thing you fear even before you think you see them? Yeah, if a ghost is a spirit, why does it wear a black cloak? Why does it look like a vampire? Why are it's eyes empty?
I'm not being skeptical because I'm scared of them, I'm just using my brain. I actually sort-of wish they we're real so that something interesting might finally happen in real life.

Ghosts are most definitely real! I know because in my house that i am currently living in, There was a fire that killed an old woman that lived in the house about 3 years before my family and I moved in. So for 3 years the house was untouched, but just before we moved in, we got everything all fixed. About a week after I had moves in, Me and my sisters started searing shuffling up and down the hallway. We at first thought it was my cat or my dog, but we soon realized that they both stayed in my room at night. after a while, I found out that my new found friend's mom was a medium. I thought that it was kinds stupid, but when his mom cam into our house, she backed away and told us that our house had a lingering spirit that was angry and sad. I was at first like, "I don't believe in this crap!" but for the past year, I've been hearing knocks on the walls, the steeps creaking like someone was walking up and down the stairs, and moaning. I really creeps me out! and My friend come over and all of them say that they smell cigarettes (No one in my neighborhood smokes) and cookies (My mom doesn't make stuff when my friends around.), feel like someone's touching there backs and face, and they feel very uncomfortable around my youngest sisters room. Considering all of the evidence and personal experiences that I've had (some that I'm afraid to even recall,) I do believe that ghosts are real.

yesh i have seen a ghost. it was when me and my family went to my dads house that he lived when he was my age, i was walking around looking in the windows. i noticed that the area the house was in was the only thing dark everything else was being shined on by the sun..when i looked in the window i saw a girl with messy hair and a white dress...my brother saw a demonic looking goat holding a baby.. o.o then we all ran home. xD it was scary tho..

No but my grandma has a strange sculpture in her house that she bought after grandpa's death (he died when l was 1,in the yr. of 1999) Anyway the the sculpture kinda reminded of grandpa.. Grandma believed that her husband's ghost is in that sculpture! We all thought that she was crazy 'till one day l saw the sculpture droping tears out of his eyes!! I just simply, all scared went to kitchen and asked grandma why is sculpture crying!! Then she told me that this happens all the time! Now of course we believe her! It creeped me out...

I was home alone with my sister and all the doors were closed we sat in the living room and the front door opened it was locked we ran to my room which was all the way to the other end of the house and all the doors started opening and closing then there was a cold breeze and that's all we felt that day

i saw one when i went to the pike place market in Seattle, it was in this Indianan shop. it felt as if someone was watching me then i turned to see a teenage girl in Native American attire and she was watching me. i heard a noise behind me so i looked, but when i looked back she was gone.
supposedly Pike Place Market was once a burial ground for the Native Americans who used to live there.

I don't really remember but my mom told me. I was like two and when your two you can't really lie. My mom was getting ready for work and I was just playing in the hall. At the time we lived in a small townhouse. I was standing there and said " Who is that man?" And my mom was all like " What man?"

I live in an apartment building and I have heard footsteps, seen things out of the corner of my eye. One morning my wife was sitting on the edge of the bed. She asked me if I had walked into the bathroom, I told her I was in the kitchen making breakfast for us. She said that she saw someone who looked like me walk into the bathroom.

I've been sitting at the computer desk surfing the net and have been tapped either on the head or back. Another time I was making my wife breakfast before she had to go to work when I saw an orange tabby cat run by (we have a grey tabby cat for a pet). I have this specific bottle that I keep my painkillers in, I've put it down on the table by the TV. I went to get a painkiller and I couldn't find the bottle, I searched the apartment for an hour with no luck. I then asked that the bottle be put back where I left it. I went back to the table and sure enough there was the bottle.

The apartment my wife and her mother lived in before I met her was haunted. One night my wife heard her name called out, she thought it was her mom needing help. My wife got up out of bed walked to her mom's room and her mom was fast asleep. Another time she was taking a nap on the living room couch. She heard a voice say "hey you" out loud, it woke her up. What ever is here doesn't feel threatening. I said out loud that what ever is here is welcome to stay, just don't scare the crap out of us.

one night i was trying to sleep but cpuldnt cause i was hungry so i went to the bathroom and there was a little boy who had red eyes and his shirt was coverd with blood

i thought we had a poltergeist in my old house it scared the life out of me because i was just going to sleep when i felt something scratch along my face i thought it was my brother at first but it turns out he was at a sleep over, i even had red marks in the morning but it was probably just my cat (she scratches everything)

I was having a sleepover with my cousin and for fun we played Bloody Mary... nothin happened but at night when we were sleeping I saw someone of my cousin's height going to the washroom. Then I woke up to drink water but when i was going standing up and wearing my shoes and when i looked back the shadow disappeared. I looked at my cousin's bed but she was sleeping unaware... I dont know what it was but i dont think it was bloody mary haha
But another day at my grandparents home i saw a shadow in the courtyard, I ran to wake up my sister, she said there's nothing like this and seriously when i went back there was nothing
And i remember another night when i was playing Uno with my cousin I looked at the clock it was 5:00 am. We told my mother about that, but when we again saw the clock it was 1:00.
The secrets to these incidents are still unrevealed to me but i can tell anyone who doesn't believe in ghosts that ghosts are real whether u believe it or not...

Twice actually. The first time when I was about 6, it was all white and was at the end of my bed. I couldn't make out anything, but a silihoutte. I didn't look for long I threw the covers over my head and hid for awhile before looking out and seeing it as gone.
The second time was about 2 years ago. I had been asleep, I'm not sure what woke me up, but when I looked up there was a tall black silihoutte at the end of my sisters bed, but it was turned looking at me. I stared for a little while and when I blinked it was gone. I think it was a man but again couldn't tell much about it but it didn't scare me, it didn't feel like it wanted to hurt me.

i have seen a ghost but it wasn't a big deal I was scared but I didn't freak out and I don't remember what happened......so don't ask....
