SHINee’s Jonghyun brought up the song he wrote for IU.
Ranking number one on various muziki charts since releasing the solo album Base, Jonghyun recently recorded KBS 2TV’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.
While filming the show, Jonghyun brought up the song A Gloomy Clock in IU’s album.

Jonghyun said, “It’s a song that I wrote for myself, and I asked IU about the arrangement. When IU heard the song, she told me that she wanted to include it in her album, so I gave it to her. It’s a song that was sold three hours after it was written.”

Then Jonghyun sang his version of A Gloomy Clock, presenting a different feel from IU’s A Gloomy Clock.

Revealing that he thinks about an artist when he writes songs, Jonghyun revealed that there is a song that he wrote with Jang Kiha in mind.

When MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked him to sing a bit of it, Jonghyun sang Jang Kiha’s version of a song, surprising the audience members kwa presenting a voice and style similar to Jang Kiha’s.

Jonghyun also sang Michael Jackson’s Black au White to which Yoo Hee Yeol commented, “It’s a difficult song to sing but wewe sang it very well.”

Jonghyun then shared that he imitated Michael Jackson’s style of imba in SHINee’s song upendo Like Oxygen.

It was announced that IU was confirmed to maintain her relationship with the current management, LOEN Entertainment (CEO Shin Won-su).

On June 3, a representative of LOEN Entertainment shared, “We have reached an agreement to renew a contract with IU before the termination in September this year.” IU had stayed with the agency for the past 7 years.

In a post on Facebook page SooReuSooReu ManSuReu (수르수르만수르) on April 29th, a netizen shared their plea of wanting to own a guitar, gitaa on the 28th.

In the post, the netizen wrote, “Hello, I’m a middle school student who wanted to play the guitar. I want to learn to play to the point where I break my fingers. I have always played the piano, but I wanted to play another instrument, the guitar. With a piano, I can’t go around and perform everywhere I want but with a guitar, gitaa I can.
