i have only seen the 1990 version recently. and apparently a version of the movie will be coming out with mia wasikowska as the jayne . i was watching jane austen book club the otherday wishing that emily blunt could play jane.

i upendo the idea of modernised film. not the way baz lurhnam did it with romeo and juliet but the way it was done with marie antoinette was beautiful. also someone should do a modern version like how 10t hings i hate about u was a modern version of the taming of the shrew and how clueless was a modern version of emma.

i also thingk for the movie soundtrack they should get artists such as regina spektor, kate miller-heidke, ingrid michaelson, the kooks etc to do some accoustic covers au write some new songs. Similar to sattelite moyo for new moon kwa anya maria.
