In fact, I have made it fun by collecting the cloth touristy bags wherever I go.

okay i'm guilty :( but i do use the plastic bags as bin bags after and my mum has started using the cloth bags when doing the shopping.

I often bring a backpack when I go shopping. This is not unusual here in Scandinavia.

Yeah, I use a backpack as well.

It's very unusual here. I use them when I walk to our nearby grocery store or when I get a small amount of groceries.

i have about 5 bags for life you get from the supermarket ive had them now for ages.

I nearly almost forget, but I always only get one big bag and use the same one even though I go to like 100 shops

My mom does all the shopping and she just uses the normal bags like normal people, Lifes too short

I do when I do the shopping. However, when we use plastic bags, we tend to keep them aside and use them as bin liners and rubbish bags, rather than just throwing them out... actually plastic bags have plenty of handy uses - innovative workings are just as important as being environmental, you know.

We have a bunch we've saved over the years and take them shopping all the time.

In big supermarkets like Tesco they even reward you for bringing your own bags and put bonus points on your card, so you look after the environment and save money all at once. It's win-win!

They are a requirement where I live.
