Same sex marriage was recently approved here in my country which is something nearly unbelievable considering the type of society we live in. I think it was a big step mbele in the gay rights support issue and that some others countries should follow this example.

Apart from all the political issues this brings up it feels AWESOME to know that if in a not so far away future I want to marry there will be problem.

I used to tell my mom I was going to die single but when I met the upendo of my life my opinion about marriage changed big time.
And later this law was approved and I alisema to myself "Hey, I could get married if I want to."

All this also made me feel zaidi secure about my sexuality and my life in general.

I just wanted to get that out of my chest :)
