I just saw Lost and at the end /ben [child] got shot! Is is dead au whats the story???

If the shoot killed him then maybe he will be dead in the future, because the future can change but I don't know if Lost will do the whole butterfly, kipepeo effect thing. Plus there is loads of people who are suppose to be dead on the island.
