Hocus Pocus sungura, hare kwa Royal Magic

Protul Chandra Sorcar-better known as P.C.Sorcar was an Indian magician who performed Indrajal shows live on stage as well as on T.V. He was born on 23 january,1913 in the Tangail district in West Bengal,Ashekpur.
He has won several honours like Jadusamrat P.C. Sorcar Sarani Govt. of India names a major mitaani, mtaa in Calcutta, dedicated to him.
Padma Shri (the Lotus), awarded kwa the President of India on January 26, 1964.

Sorcar died on 6 january 1971,due to moyo attack at the age of 58 in Ashaikawa, Hokkaidō, Japan, while performing.On 23 February 2010, Indian Post issued a Rs. 5/- stamp to honour him.
