It was about 2:00am. and I was laying awake in our current salama house in Colorado. I looked over to see Nudge & Angel fast asleep. I turned over on my side with a million thoughts going thru my head. 90 percent of my thoughts was about Fang and how he left us and the other 10 percent was about Dylan. Was Fang really gone? Would he ever come back? Will Dylan ever just leave me alone? Now my head was killing me because of all the thoughts. God, I just couldn't think strait. I went on the deck in hope to get away from all the thoughts. The mti right across from the deck rustled making me stifle. Then I noticed a faint figure in the tree. I was about to get up and investigate when Dylan the boy wonder came out on the deck. "Thought I heard someone out here." he said. "Yeah, well I needed some air." I lamely replied. "Max, I've been thinking a lot about you," Oh god, where was he going with this? "Max, I upendo you." Like lightning he swooped in and cupped my chin with his soft but strong hands, then his mouth was on mine and we were kissing. His kisses were so fierce and soon mine became fierce too His lips were so soft, a litter softer than fang's. It seemed like ages before we broke apart. I found myself stupidly gazing into his deep blue eyes that now I realize are super cute. Almost 20 years later my eyes left his and I heard that rustling mti again. Then a figure emerged from the mti top. Fang! He had really come back. Fang was back! His strong wings flew faster than I'd ever seen them go and he yelled "Get away from her!" "Fang," I yelled to him but like that he had tackled Dylan and knocked him down. Fang, what are you," I barely had time to finish before Dylan got up and Fang punched his nose. Dylan staggered back and soon caught his balance. I stepped in front of Fang and yelled "What the heck are wewe doing?!" Fang just shoved me out of the way. Then he pushed him into the house's side so hard it shacked. Soon after everyone else was outside. "Your not right for Max, I am!" Fang yelled. I'd never seen him this way. "Says the guy who broke Max's moyo and left her alone!" Dylan yelled back. He launched himself at Fang and Fang hit his head on the table. Hard. Jeb grabbed Dylan's arm and I tried to grab Fang but he launched himself so hard I went mbele with him. "Iggy!" I yelled. Iggy ran over and grabbed Fang's other arm. "Whats going on?" Nudge practically shrieked. Then I noticed Fang's head was bleeding bad and Dylan's nose was gushing blood. "Fang, when did wewe come back? What are wewe doing?" I asked. I let go of his arm and stepped right in front of him and crossed my arms. He had calmed down now and Iggy let go too. Jeb let go of Dylan's arm and it got weirdly quite. "Max, I couldn't stand not being with you. I planned to come back in the mourning. I slept in that mti and when wewe came out and wewe and Dylan started... um, wewe know what," he practically whispered. "I just Lost my temper." he finished. "So wewe attacked him?" I yelled. "Max, I'm, I'm sorry." Fang said. "Tell that to me," Dylan snapped. "Shut up wewe weasel," Fang snapped back. "Both of wewe butt heads shut up." I said. Fang's head was still bleeding and Dylan's nose had dried blood all over. "Lets all just go inside and get cleaned up." Jeb said. I glared at him, even though I sort of agreed. Force of habit. "Fine." I said. We all went inside and Fang and Dylan sat on opposite sides and glared at each other. I came and sat down inayofuata to Fang. "Max, I'm so sorry." he alisema for the 20th time since we came inside. I had gone thru 2 wet clothes already on Fang's head which was still bleeding. I started to dab it again and Fang winced each time I touched him. "I still upendo you, Max." he said. "Then why did wewe leave me?!" I yelled. Everyone turned around and looked at me. They all turned around almost immediatly. Nudge and Angel were taking care of Dylan. "Because I upendo you." he said. "I wanted to protect you." I woke up barely breathing. I realized I must have fallen a sleep out there. I put my head on my shoulders as warm tears slowly trickled out of my eyes. Fang was gone. Forever.
