Do wewe see what I see?
Truth is an offense
You silence for your confidence

Do wewe hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination, keep wewe where they must

Do wewe feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what wewe express?

Do wewe take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of mbele seems to me absurd

Doesn't matter what wewe see?
Or into it what wewe read?
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do wewe fear what I fear?...

And now I wait my whole lifetime
For you
And now I wait my whole lifetime
For you

I ride the dirt I ride the tide
For you
I tafuta the outside tafuta inside
For you

To take back what wewe left me
You know I'll always burn to be
The one who seeks so I may find
So on I wait my whole lifetime

I'm Outlaw torn
I'm Outlaw torn
I'm Outlaw torn
And I'm torn

So on I wait my whole lifetime
For you
So on I wait my whole lifetime
For you

The zaidi I tafuta the zaidi my need
For you
The zaidi I bless the zaidi I bleed
For you

You make me smash the clock and feel
I'd rather die behind the wheel
Time was never on my side
So on I wait my...

wewe just stood there screaming
Fearing no one was listening to you
They say the empty can rattles the most
The sound of your own voice must suit you

Hearing only what wewe want to hear
And knowing only what you've heard
You, you're smothered in tragedy
And you're off to save the world

Misery
You insist that the weight of the world
Should be on your shoulders

Misery
There's much zaidi to life than what wewe see
My friend of misery

You still stood there screaming
No one caring about these words wewe tell
My friend before your voice is gone
One man's fun is another's hell

These times are sent to try men's souls
But...

"The Call of Ktulu" was Metallica's sekunde instrumental song, following the first instrumental "(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth" from Kill 'Em All. The song working title was originally "When Hell Freezes Over".
The idea of the song "The Call of Ktulu" is based upon H.P. Lovecraft's book The Shadow over Innsmouth which was first introduced to the rest of the band kwa Cliff Burton. The song's name was taken from one of H.P. Lovecraft's main stories featuring Cthulhu, The Call of Cthulhu, which was written in 1928 for the magazine Weird Tales. The name "Ktulu" is originally written "Cthulhu" kwa H.P....

Elektra Records A&R director Michael
Alago, and co-founder of Q-Prime
Management Cliff Burnstein, attended a
September 1984 Metallica concert.
Impressed with what they saw, they
signed Metallica to Elektra Records and
made the band a client of Q-Prime
Management.[14] Metallica's burgeoning
success was such that the band's
British label muziki for Nations issued
a limited edition Creeping Death EP,
which sold 40,000 copies as an import
in the U.S. Two of the three songs on
the record (cover versions of Diamond
Head's "Am I Evil?", and
Blitzkrieg's "Blitzkrieg") appeared on
the 1989 Elektra reissue of Kill...
