"Jasmine,wait! Where are wewe going?"

"I'm sorry, Michael, but I can't do this and I don't think that we should be Marafiki anymore."

"What? Why?"

"Michael, please don't make this any harder than it has to be. Please respect my decision and don't call me again.", she alisema struggling not to cry.

"Jasmine, what's going on? Why are wewe doing this?",he demanded.

"I'm sorry, Michael, but this is just the way that it has to be. I have got to go.", she alisema losing the battle with the tears and she turned and ran in the house.

"Jasmine!", he cried and he tried to ran after her, but the maid walked outside informing him that he had a important phone call from his manager Frank Dileo and he cussed.

He did not want to take the call, but he knew that he had to take it. When he got on the phone, Frank told him that the dates for the Bad tour was set and they would be leaving in a week for Japan. Michael wanted to have a great onyesha for the fans, so he told Frank to call all of the dancers and Tatiana and meet him at the studio in a saa for rehearsal. Out of the corner of his eye,he watched as jimmy, hunitumia ran out of the gate to meet a taxi. He cussed again quietly and turned his attention back to Frank. After he was finished with Frank, he went back outside and told the party guests that the party was over. The kids protested, but they helped Michael and the maids clean up. Then Michael went upstairs to get changed for rehearsal.

When jimmy, hunitumia came home, she walked in her room, flopped down on bed, and cried until she fell asleep. As she slept, she was haunted kwa dreams of Michael and everything that had happened that day. She could see the look in his eyes as he pleaded with her to stay. She did not want to hurt him, but she just could not deal with her feelings. So she took the coward's way out and ran away. The breakup with Greg had scarred her emotionally to the point that she was not sure if she could deal with another relationship. If she could not deal with the thought that Michael did not upendo her,how could they still be friends? She tossed and turned in her sleep. Finally she gave up on trying to sleep and walked out of her room. She went in to the living room and watched TV, hoping that it would make her sleepy again.

In her room, the phone began to ring. She went to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Jasmine?"

She sighed deeply and said,"Michael, what do wewe want?"

"We need to talk."

"No, I don't want to talk."

"Look, Jasmine-"

"We don't have anything to talk about."

"But,Jasmine-"

"Goodbye, Michael."

"Jasmine, please don't-"

She hung up the phone and went back to bed. She had done the right thing kwa ending their friendship., she told herself. So why did she feel like she was making the biggest mistake of her life kwa letting him go?
