As Maris picked out five C.D.s from Michael's muziki collection, she was thinking about the house, which once belonged to Sam Cooke; in addition, to buying it for Michael for with money she was making from the VOGUE photoshoot in Paris after learning Michael was a huge shabiki of Sam Cooke.
