A Message of Love, not Judgment 

The Conspiracy against God is about "The Word", and the profaning of His Holy Name within us. Adam fell in the garden, breaking the direct connection to God. Jesus, the "last Adam" was a quickening Spirit, the Word made Flesh, and the only one with whom we can re-establish our relationship with God. Michael\'s story is still unfolding. He is the one who is, is not. But Jesus is the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved. Many are trying to rewrite HIStory. We were given a help to instruct us. Learn more "here".

Psalms 54 – “Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your strength. Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth. For strangers have risen up against me, And oppressors have sought after my life; They have not set God before them. Selah

Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. He will repay my enemies for their evil. Cut them off in Your truth. I will freely sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good. For He has delivered me out of all trouble; And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies."

The path continues to show me the meaning of the word “love” and what it was originally designed to be. I had a conversation with a lady who reads this blog and the negative press that surrounded Michael’s life. We talked about that minister on my FaceBook friends list that began my study into Michael’s life and what happened to him. One of the things she mentioned is that, in all the Dr. Murray, AEG, Sony and Branca network of deceit we were still missing the bigger picture.

Tonight we had small group Bible Study at our assistant Pastor’s house. The theme fell right along with what I was planning to write tonight. We learned that the world teaches us conditional love, which is why most have a hard time grasping the concept of “unconditional” love. Sometimes it takes an example closer to your own time in history, to show you what it is.

During THE interview Michael had with Ed Bradley on 60 Minutes back in 2003, Michael faced down a question from Ed about why he continued to let children sleep in his bedroom after the fiasco in 1993. Michael’s reply “Why not? You know why? You’re thinking sex. My mind doesn’t run that way. I’m sorry that’s not Michael Jackson . . . that’s someone else.”

I had watched many interviews Michael gave, in order of year that he gave it, from Oprah in 1993 to the 60 minutes interview with Ed Bradley in 2003, right before his trial but after he was arrested. In each and every interview that man tried to explain to these adults what "coming to Christ as a child" meant and why he was so convicted to help and love them . . . because Jesus said to. Then he said something magical, "Child-LIKE, not child-ISH". It hit me right then, everything he was trying to explain to these people that thought he was guilty. Michael WAS trying to be childlike because that’s what Jesus told him to be . . . “that kind of innocence”, he said. It was like Michael lifted this last wall I had between me and God. This is where I was failing in my relationship with God and why I could only get "so far" before I would plateau. I had read that many times in the Bible myself, but never actually grasped the simplicity of it.

I also realized something else that day watching all those interviews in order. Michael taught me something else. There is a big difference between the way WE understand love, and the way God designed it. (this was actually part of a letter I wrote to a friend).

Ed Bradley asked Michael if he would now be more cautious about allowing children to stay at the Ranch and at his home. While watching an abused and crushed Michael explain that he would never "stop helping and loving people the way Jesus said to", It came to me. Love is not what the world teaches you it is. As you grow up, the word "love" is defined by society, cultures, coveting and greed. Love is selfish. Love is something someone says to you to get something out of you. Love is obligatory. Love is “conditional”. What Michael taught me is that love, in it\'s PURE form, the way God designed it, is selfless . . . completely selfless. In it’s true form it is unconditional. Jesus was love. What did Jesus do for us out of love? He sacrificed his life. He gave it for us. While I was listening to Michael tell Ed that he would continue to love despite that these people turned that love into something perverse to use against him, I started to cry. I saw the pain in that man\'s eyes and I wanted to be able to in the worst way, just reach out and tell Michael, "Give it to me. Just let me take your pain! I can handle it because I\'m harder than you and I don\'t care! It was then I realized that I did care. It was then that I realized what love is. To want to suddenly, without thought for yourself, take the pain of another person you\'ve never even met, without any thought for reward or what you would get out of it. And it was then that I realized just what it was that Christ gave us.

Galatians 5:6 - For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

I John 4: 9-10 - In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

We are the ones that put conditions on love, not God. Could it be that most of us were so unfamiliar with what the kind of love looked like, that even though we read it in the Bible, we did not, could not see it in a modern day human being?

One of the most painful realities of Michael’s life was that he was always looking for love. What he received from God, he gave to everyone else . . . his money, his music, his dancing, his time, his love. He gave more than his tithe. He gave his life. Of the $500 million he earned in his lifetime selling records and concert tickets, he gave over $300 million of it to children’s charities and to helping children. Of his songs well over 60% were written either to or about God and what we were created to do here. Of his performances he gave well over 100% of sweat equity under those lights.

Of his time and his love, it was constant . . . even while hiding from the media in his home. He was making phone calls to fans who wrote in letters, or calling to get an update from Ryan White who was expelled from school in the 1980’s because he contracted aides from a blood transfusion. Or calling to encourage Dave Rothenburg through another series of skin grafts, (his father doused him with gasoline and set him on fire), or having his assistants calling around the world to find a liver for Farkas, an orphan in Bucharest who until Michael visited his hospital, had no hope of survival.

Michael never looked at people the way they looked at him. He saw the inside. He saw and responded to pain and was especially sensitive to the pain of children. Michael wrote the song “Gone too Soon” in honor of Ryan when he died at the age of 18 from the AIDS he contracted.

The story of Ryan White was particularly touching because it really showcased the compassion Michael had toward those that were unfairly judged and targeted. Michael had yet to discover just how much of that was about to come his way. Nobody came to his defense the way Michael came to the defense of some of these children. Nobody but God.

Today, Michael is gone and he is still drawing people in. Of course the stories are still in the media about his alleged prescription drug problem, or his “many” surgeries, or the “bleaching cream” that was reported to be found in his bedroom without the explanation that this was the treatment for his vitiligo and the accusations of “pedophile” are still being hawked in tabloids, online forums and “hate” groups and by profit seeking pseudo-journalists writing books about someone they’ve never even met.

However, it is not all bad news for Michael. Those wanting to know more about this moonwalking, “Thriller” man are digging deeper in their quest to discover what made him, him. The hits on his Youtube video interviews are through the roof. Forums set up by people who have recorded with him and mixed music in studios with him tell stories of a Michael praying before and after a recording session. Of a man who liked to break the ice with a nervous first timer by throwing a handful of popcorn at him. A man who ended most of his sentences with “I love you more” or “God Bless you”.

Michael wasn’t God. He wasn’t Jesus and he cringed at any suggestions of such. But he made no apologies about his desire to want to please God . . . and his duty to try to be “Christ-like”.

What Influence Michael has had showing love in a country with no God:

"I’ve just left a Chinese Michael Jackson forum, where some members are expressing interest in knowing Jesus because they want to see Michael Jackson again in afterlife. There are people who want to buy the Bible and who go to church for the first time because of Michael Jackson. Most Chinese forums I’ve been to are somewhat hostile towards Christians and Christianity. But now I see all over the MJ forum people are talking about God and Heaven. If you are familiar with Chinese culture you will know that ‘God’ (shang di) and ‘Heaven’ (tian tang) is not a common vocabulary among Chinese people. But it is all over the place now." Xing

A song comes to mind by the group “Casting Crowns” called “Does Anybody Hear Her”. It’s a song about where Christians are failing in their purpose to share Christ’s love. We share the story of the gift of salvation from a position of judgment, not a position of love. We chase more people from church then we invite in. Christianity is not a title. It’s not a status symbol. It’s a condition brought on by the acceptance of a gift of love. Maybe that’s what Michael was trying to show the world. That we were getting it all wrong. Maybe he was trying to tell us the difference between “religion” and “faith”? Michael was right . . . It’s all about love . . . “L.O.V.E.”

I hope many people get to read this because it's so true.

The stuff that's going on with Murray and how people are condemning him before he has a trial, MJ went through that, and he was innocent. People need to step back a little. We don't know the truth. Perhaps Murray is guilty, but perhaps, and most likely, we don't know the real story.

We all want justice for MJ, but let's find out the facts first before we judge a man...

April 2, 2010 – Should we Fight for Him?

We are living in Biblically significant Times. Ironically it was the most persecuted man in modern history that lead me to dig deeper into the Bible and taught me more about God than any other human being on the planet. And that man is Michael Jackson. I started a blog to defend him. I ended up researching him and learned just why they were after him. They did everything they could to shut him down. In the song "Cry" he said "take over for me", so that is what I am doing. God bless that man and his faith and strength
