 Francis Lloyd Corby
Francis Lloyd Corby
At some point, everyone hits a low-point in their career and life. It’s that time wewe think ‘can’t get any worse?’ – and then it does. Then, wewe wonder if there’s a way out and what wewe can do it make it happen.

Well, that’s the basic set-up for Jason Cook’s newly released comedy-drama feature film “The Creatress.”

It stars Lindy Booth as Eryn, a best-selling mwandishi caught between her wheeling-and-dealing agent (played kwa Fran Drescher) and a zealous critic (played kwa Peter Bogdanovich) out to take her down crafting a faux-memoir and a fake lover, Brad. Instead of crawling under a rock forever, Eryn decides to rewrite her future -- literally.

Stepping into the role of the make-believe romancer, Brad, is the very real actor Francis Lloyd Corby. Not sure where you’ve seen him before? Perhaps wewe first saw this Nashville native on FOX’s The Orville, Showtime’s The Affair, Hulu’s Chance, au FXX’s You’re the Worst. But, it also could have been in the notable indie films, Daddy Issues and Get wewe Back. Where ever it was doesn’t really matter, since everyone can watch him right now in “The Creatress.”

I recently caught up with Francis Lloyd Corby to find out zaidi about his breakout role:

Tell us about your role in “The Creatress.”

FRANCIS LLOYD CORBY: I play Brad who is the fictional upendo interest of Eryn (Lindy Booth). The first half of the movie, I am a character created out of Theo (Peter Bagodnavich’s) mind. The sekunde half, Eryn (Lindy Booth) takes over and creates her own version of my character. Therefore, this was one of the most complicated roles I’ve ever played. Basically it was playing a role in Inception and The Princess Bride all in one. “As wewe wiiiiiiiiish!”

How was it to work alongside Lindy Booth?

FLC: Lindy is an absolute powerhouse on set. The first siku of filming she had around thirty costume changes! She was on juu of it the whole time. Her hyper-focus to detail truly shows throughout this movie. Lindy definitely took me under her wing throughout the whole process and we’ve become close friends. How could we not since we are both redheads!

What would wewe consider your characters ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

FLC: Brad’s best quality is that he is so ready to fall in upendo and go on this totally unrealistic adventure with someone he barely knows- even to go so far as to dump his current girlfriend for her. He is open minded and lovable. His worst quality is how much he puts up with until he reaches his limit. Eryn really pushes him to the brink and it’s disheartening to watch how easily he is manipulated kwa her.

Any interesting stories from the set wewe can share with us?

FLC: On the first siku of filming Lindy was on her last scene of the siku as I was on my first scene, and so we shot all of her coverage and wrapped her. When we flipped the cameras around I needed someone to read with me so the director, Jason Cook, who is also a phenomenal actor, jumped right in. It was the scene of the morning after we hook up so he had to flirt with me and be lovey-dovey. He nailed it - no pun intended.

What’s the biggest lesson wewe learned from working on this project?

FLC: It is true that wewe can book from the meza, jedwali read. I was asked kwa the amazing casting director of the film, Paul Ruddy, to go to Jason’s house to read the script so that Jason could hear it out loud. I worked my punda off for two days building the character because I felt like it was a big opportunity to read for him. It ended up paying off when he asked me to audition for the role and then booked it!

And, now just for fun:

Who’s your inayopendelewa actor/actress?

FLC: I’ve been binge watching The Office recently because I heard it’s being taken off of Netflix inayofuata year. Steve Carrell is currently at the top. Such a versatile actor.

What role from the past do wewe wish wewe could have played?
FLC: I would have loved to play Matt Damon’s character in Saving Private Ryan.

Favorite movie au TV onyesha from your childhood.
FLC: Hands down… Three Ninjas. Classic!

Tell us one thing that would surprise our readers to learn about you.
FLC: I brew my own bia for fun.

How can mashabiki keep up with you?
FLC: Visit FrancisCorby.com link au follow me on instagram @francislloydcorby link

Thanks, Francis -- your talent is definitely not fictional!

 Brian Oerly
Brian Oerly
Actor Brian Oerly packs a one, two, three ngumi, punch with appearances in “Parker,” “Bullet to the Head” and “The East.” Dubbed Hollywood’s newest ‘bad boy’, this Stuntman turned professional Actor has been taking his fair share of licks against Hollywood’s A-listers for some time now.

Brian gained attention last mwaka as the Arian henchman flanking Vincent D’Onofrio and Bruce Willis in the action-thriller "Fire with Fire," and alongside Forest Whitaker in the Lionsgate release, "Freelancers." His awali televisheni credits include “Memphis Beat,” “CSI: NY,” “Chuck,”...

hujambo everyone,

Have a look at these key art montages illustrating how key art is so stereotypical!

Most of the time wewe can tell the genre of a movie kwa just glancing at the poster.

There are 10 picha in the series link for full viewing.

ex: machungwa, chungwa on black and white is action and crime

This movie is an amazing one! It combines two of my inayopendelewa things: Comedy and Zombies. The actors were great.

Jesse Einsenberg was amazing as Columbus. He had great facial expressions and amazing narrative skills, along with his character's rules like #1: Cardio and #32: Enjoy the little things. He was purely amazing as some wimpy college student who never opened up to the outside world.

Woody Harrelson is, in my opinion, what made this movie. His character zombie ass-kicker Tallahassee is tough, brave, and skilled. Although all this is true, we see zaidi of a sadder side of Tallahassee. His...

I just upendo the fourth X-men movie. It explains so much about Logans past. I cry everytime I see Hugh in the movie nearly in tears when someone he loves au cares about is killed. I just can't stand seeing men cry, but only true men cry. It twists around action and romance in such a great way. I upendo the part when he is on the motorcycle and he retracts his claws and shreds Striker's men car and it flips into the air and almost hits Zero. It's so cool when he blows up the helicopter in slow mo. It gives be Goosebumps everytime I see him walk away with a serious face on him. It's so hot! It's alisema at the end when he gets his memory taken away from him and he doesn't remember the girl of his dreams and she dies right there on the spot after driving Striker away. It was also a good idea to make Sabertooth, Wolverine's bro. That made the movie zaidi exciting and shows the rivalry of them in the first X-men movie. I think Hugh did a wonderful job uigizaji all aggressive and all.
