I personally think that Tim burton made Batman, and Gotham city zaidi memorable and his characters were zaidi than one dimensional. The only two characters that went the extra mile in Nolan's were Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordan and Heath Ledger as a different take on the Joker. But unlike Burton's Batman Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, never really had a whole lot of depth to him, and his voice often sounded a little too raspy.
