To be honest, I was quite disappointed by this album. I've loved every song of their previous albums, but I just don't like this album. I'd say I like maybe 3 or 4 songs of the whole The 2nd Law album. But you should still listen to it, you might like it since we can't all agree :)

I became MUSE fan a year ago. The first song which I listened to was Unnatural Selection. I fell in love with this song. Next song was Plug In Baby. I loved it too. Then this obsession with MUSE began. I listened to all of their albums and I must admit that my favourite album of all of them is The Resistance. I like everything in this album.
When I listened to The 2nd Law I liked it too. It has a lot of wonderful songs which have this mighty power inside which makes me hold my breath. Here's small list of what I think of each song of The 2nd Law:
1. Supremacy - This song is wonderful. It reminds me of James Bonds movies. I like that it has this smoothe melody which makes this song supreme.
2. Madness - Probably my favourite part of this song is after instrumental part near the end where song reaches it's climax. It's like you finally showed your fillings to your second half. It's really romantic.
3. Panic Station - This is probably my favourite song of The 2nd Law! I like how crazy this song is and it all just make me wanna dance! This song is really funky and cool.
4. Prelude - Just a beatiful composition. Love it!^^
5. Survival - This song is fool of power! That's why it became official song of the Olimpyc games 2012! All these great guitar riffs makes me feel invincible and strong! FASTER, HIGHER, STRONGER!
6. Follow Me - I think that it's really nice that Matthew Bellamy wrote this song for his family. If my dad wrote a song for me and added my heartbeat in it I would probably be very proud of him. This song is really sweet and nice though it's also very serious.
7. Animals - Well... This song is just amazing. It continious theme of The Resistance about greedy politicians and millionares. I like how calmly and quite it starts and how strong and coldly it ends.
8. Explorers - It's one of this songs which has really sweet and nice melody but depressing lyrics. It's still has some notes of love in it.
9. Big Freeze - I don't want to say it but probably this is my least favourite song of The 2nd Law. I just don't know why I don't like it. Yes it's lyrics makes sence but melody... Just sounds kinda too childish and MAGICAL~!
10. Save Me - I must admit that it's kinda unusual to hear Chris instead of Matt in MUSE songs but Save Me is a really nice song written and sung by bassist Chris Wolstenholme. This song is a thank you by Chris to his family and friends who helped him realise that they love them and don't like his alcohol issues.
11. Liquid State - Another song by Chris. I like how Save Me is more calm and relaxing but this song is more serious and depressing. It's like his soul is screaming for help.
12. The 2nd Law:Unsustainable - Well, here's too last compositions of the The 2nd Law. I love them both. This one shows us what people doing to themselfs. In few words - we are killing ourselfs. I really like this part with TV dictor. I even learned it by heart!^^
13. The 2nd Law: Isolated System - This composition shows us how it's gonna end... I don't want to say anything else about this song because you should just listen to it... It's perfect.

Uf! I'm kinda tired but still I think that you should listen to this album and 100% you'll like some of these songs because every song is different and unique.
