Sai thinks she's ugly cause in episode 54 he was thinking & in his head he said to say the opposite of ugly if that's what he thinks of a girl so when he called her beautiful he didn't mean it. I think Ino only thinks he's cute(from what I've seen so far) which is an effed up reason to 'like' him & she was comparing him to Sasuke which she shouldn't be doing if she likes him so you could jump to the conclusion that she only 'likes' him because he reminds her of Sasuke.
