the only hard would be is that you would have to avoid the susanoo's sword although i am not sure about itachi's his was much better than sasukes.

hey if this technique can absorb any ninjutsu then it can absord stuff that are created by those ninjutsus right remember what happened with Jiraiyas oil then sure Pein can absord things like Yamatos wood,Kimimaros bone,etc.

but the only thing is? the Rasengan is purely based off chakra i am not sure if this thing can absorb anything in general i am undecided and likely to remain that way i need more evidence

well just remember that this technique can absorb Jiraiyas oil I think it can absorb anything that is created by chakra

there is a limit to every jutsu for the Amaretasu you have to kill the user, so i highly doubt it can absorb it plus you cant compare Jiraiya's oil to the Amaretasu. and like rusty said i dont think it could absorb Susanoo's sword!!!!

well killing the user doesnt dispel Amaterasu plus yes Amaterasu is much more powerful than Jiraiya oil but after all its just another ninjutsu and this absorbtion technique can absorb any ninjutsu so I think theres no limit to it and with susanoo yeah I dont think this technique can absorb the sword and the shield since theyre legendary weapons but it can absorb the rest of the body so what would hold the sword then XD

ok when he uses absorbtion he is deffense less till he stops using it if he is stupid enough to try it he would die because he wouldnt be able to dodge it thats why there is a sphere around him so he doesnt have to move or wory about whats behind him but it cant stop taijutsu so he would be screwed!!!!

undeademperor youre forgetting one thing there are six bodies of Pain remember what I said the deva path can use his ability to push away the sword or even pull the sword toward him and then dodge it just in time while the other body use his ability to absorb Suasnoo

Of course Pain can block them, after all, he does have the most powerful and rare of all the gekkais ^_^.

it can absorb ameterasu but it wont absorb susano because well susano is a physical form. how the hell you going to absorm that. pains ability is to absorb CHAKRA. susano itsnt made out of chakra. so no it cant.
