Tony had finally gotten over the fact that Kate was dead; no zaidi crying; no zaidi sleepless nights; and no zaidi misery. Kate had only been zaidi than a friend for a no zaidi than a week but that was a week Tony would never forget. Because, in that week, Tony had learned what it felt like to be in love. But that was the past, and this is the future and Tony's future was with Ziva.
