It was a dark night. As the wind blew firmly through the trees, chaos soon happened. A series of cries and wails were heard deep within the forest. A large and strange looking creature, resembling a dinosaur, collapsed to the ground. Scars were all over its body and it was trying its hardest to get up. The dino’s eyes were enlarge with fright as it looked upward. A mysterious figure was making its way towards the wounded creature. The figure stopped as soon as it came close while pulling out a shining sword. “It’s time we end this.” The figure alisema while drawing the sword towards the creature. The dinosaur continued staring up at the dark figure with fright and suddenly let out a loud bellow while standing on its hind legs. The creature had enough strength to stand up and seize itself towards the figure. With the speed of light however, the figure jumped out of the way and landed on a mti limb. The figure watched as the dinosaur looked around. “Next time, wewe will get what wewe deserve.” After saying that, the figure soon disappeared leaving the wounded creature behind. Once it was gone, the giant beast went back on all fours while making its way through the thicket. Bits of blood from the scars dripped while it walked away leaving a little, small trail of tiny blood dots.

That event occurred last night. Nobody however knew about it. It wouldn’t be until the following afternoon when young wizard Negi Springfield and his thirty one female students learn about what lead up to this event and who exactly is the mysterious figure with the sword.

As night become morning, Negi makes his way to the Mahora Academy, the school where he teaches and where the thirty one female students go. As he made his way to the school, he noticed a couple of his students gathering around looking at something. He walked to the scene and the girls noticed him. “Hey Negi”, Nodoka alisema while smiling and blushing a tad. Negi smiled too and alisema his good mornings to her and the others. “What is going on?” He asked. Yue gladly explained the whole situation and showed him a strange footprint that was visible in the dirt. Negi was shocked and couldn’t even speak. Another girl, Kazumi, pulled out a digital camera and started to take snapshots of the print. “This will be the biggest scoop of all time,” She exclaimed with excitement while laughing. “Strange creature on the mitts of town: Friend au Foe!” Everyone including Negi could only sigh while laughing sarcastically. They knew she was the class reporter and would take her highlights to extremes. “What do wewe think we should?” Nodoka asked with fright. Everyone didn’t know what to do. “We probably need to be on our guard,” Negi soon explained. “If this thing is dangerous, we need to be careful. Is that understood?” Everyone nodded and agreed. “We will do what we can.” Kaede alisema while forming a smile. As soon as this was over, the school’s bells started to ring. Everyone including Negi gasped after hearing them ring- they were super, super late.

All of the students came to class and were discussing about the mysterious discovery. It was pretty obvious how the rumor got spread. Kazumi, being the school’s reporter, told all of them about it. Negi knew that Kazumi was the one who told them about this morning but decided not to butt in. This wouldn’t last very long however when a couple of them started asking him for his opinion about the whole thing. “What kind of monster do wewe think it is?” Fuka asked. Her twin sister, Fumika asked him the same question. A lot of them were putting pure pressure on him. The loudness stopped when the class representative, Ayaka slammed her hand on her desk. “Will wewe all stop it,” She exclaimed. “Negi probably doesn’t know anything about this. If he doesn’t, don’t ask him so many questions. Just leave him alone.” Everyone settled down after Ayaka defended Negi. Although everything was quite, it still didn’t change much. As Negi observed each of the student’s faces they were shown with fright and concern. All what he could do was stare at the floor with depression. “Is everything alright Negi?” Ayaka asked while standing up. Negi didn’t hear her however and said, “I think I am going to cancel class today. I’m sorry everyone.” After saying this, he soon left the classroom in a big hurry. Ayaka tried to stop him. “We need to go after him.” Konoka alisema to Asuna. She was however fast asleep and didn’t hear her.

Negi was in a lot of depression. He wanted to help them kwa explaining his side of the story with what occurred this morning but he didn’t know anything. It was then that Nodoka entered in the room and was very quite. “Um, are wewe feeling okay?” She asked very softly. Negi turned to see her standing in front of him and noticed she had a worried look on her face. He slowly smiled and nodded. “I’m just having a difficult time about this footprint discovery. I am fine really.” Though she was happy, she still couldn’t help but worry. “Do wewe think magic can help us determine what made the footprint?” She asked. Negi never thought about using magic, but thought it was out of the way. “Magic is useful sometimes, but I think it is better leaving things like these for the mind. Someday we will discover who au what made that footprint and when we do, then we will know.” Nodoka smiled as that speech really brought confidence. It seemed as if things were returning to normal again but that moment soon faded when a small ermine ran through the hallways and reached the office room. The ermine is known as Chamo, Negi’s sidekick and partner. The two noticed him and walked to him. “What’s going on Chamo?” Negi asked. After taking deep breaths, he soon spoke. “Nekane and I were taking a walk through the Northern forest this afternoon and she and discovered something wicked amazing! wewe need to come check it out!” Negi and Nodoka looked at each other with concern. They think they have finally found the one behind the mysterious footprint that was discovered this morning. “Should we?” Negi asked Nodoka. She nodded.

As soon as the kengele rung, most of the students left. Negi and Nodoka, along with Chamo made their long journey from Mahora Academy to the Northern woods. Meanwhile across town, three girls were standing in a mduara, duara around the footprint that was still visible. “I honestly wonder what could make such a large print like this.” Konoka said. “Whatever it is, it will probably be dangerous,” Setsuna said. “And if that happens, I will protect you.” Konoka looked at her while giggling. “You’re like a brave knight in shining armor.” Setsuna’s moment broke after she alisema that. Asuna’s opinions on the other hand were extreme. “Maybe’s a living fossil. No! No! Maybe a Missing Link. Oh darn!” Konoka and Setsuna didn’t know what to think of her opinions. “You always come up with the wildest ideas.” Konoka alisema while forming a sarcastic expression on her face. Taking a good long look at the print, Asuna was trying to form another hypothesis. She couldn’t come up with anymore. It was at this time when Negi and Nodoka ran pass them. Setsuna looked up and saw them. “Hey, it’s Negi and Nodoka.” She alisema while pointing at them. Konoka turned her head. “Really? I wonder where they are going.” Setsuna suggested that should follow them. Agreeing, the two girls left. Asuna on the other hand was left behind still observing the footprint closely. “Dang it! I wish I had another solution to figure out who made this thing!” She started throwing a tantrum. It didn’t take her long to realize that Konoka and Setsuna had left her behind. She started to get even zaidi upset.

The hours went kwa as Negi, Nodoka, and Chamo finally made it to the entrance to the Northern Woods. “I guess we should enter.” Negi alisema while gulping. Nodoka was frightened and got close behind Negi. “I’m scared, really, really scared.” She alisema while starting to form tears in her eyes. Negi blushed really hard as Nodoka pressed her body against his back. “St-St-St-Stay clam,” He said. “We’re all in this together. There is no reason to be scared.” Chamo butted in and agreed with Negi. “As long as we’re together, nothing can pass us.” This made Nodoka feel a little better. They started entering the deep, dark forest kwa following the dirt path. While they entered, Konoka and Setsuna was a couple of miles behind them when they stopped at the entrance to the woods. “They went in there?” Setsuna said. “But these are the Northern Woods. Don’t they realize they will get lost?” “How could they get lost?” Konoka asked. “There’s a dirt path in front of us.” She pointed to where the dirt path started and pointed straight ahead. Setsuna felt embarrassed kwa the whole situation and kept apologizing to her. Konoka giggled while patting Setsuna’s head. “It’s okay,” She responded. “Don’t be so sorry.” Although that matter was over, the two girls still had a big flaw to follow- it was either go into the woods au risk their two Marafiki getting Lost au being in grave danger. “We better go after them,” Setsuna said. “Let’s go.” Grabbing Konoka’s left hand, the two started entering the woods until a loud voice was heard behind them. Asuna managed to find them. “Oh Asuna!” Konoka exclaimed while waving to her. She managed to catch up to them while taking deep breaths. “What is going on?! Why did wewe two leave me?!” Konoka offered to explain everything, but Setsuna did instead. “Negi and Nodoka ran past us earlier when we were looking at the footprint. We decided to follow them and we know they entered into the Northern Woods for some reason.” Asuna’s expression soon turned into worried. “Why didn’t wewe guys just tell me??” Konoka added that it was because she was busy figuring out on who au what made the print, so they wanted to leave her alone. Asuna understood, but changed courses. “We better go and find them before something gets them. Maybe that “thing” who left the print must be in there.” With that said, the three girls made their way into the entrance of the woods.

Negi, Nodoka, and Chamo were at lease a few feet away from the entrance to the forest when they heard loud bellowing coming a few miles in front of them. The three were terrified kwa the sounds. “W-W-What was that?!” Nodoka asked with fear and desperation. “Must be some kind of creature au something,” Chamo added. “What do wewe think Negi?” Negi didn’t speak, but was shaken all over kwa fear. “Come on! Don’t be like that! You’re a wizard aren’t you? Don’t be scared kwa just a little noise.” Chamo’s perspective on that however was not exactly right- the bellowing sounds were loud as they were a little frightening. “What should we do Negi??” Nodoka asked. Negi was till standing very still with fright. It was at this moment when Asuna, Konoka, and Setsuna managed to catch up. “Negi, Nodoka!” They all shouted. Chamo was a little hurt that they forgot to mention his name too. The three girls came up to them. “What is going on,” Asuna asked Negi. “You never run off like that without consulting us. Are wewe even listening to me? Hello!” Negi was still frozen in shock. He looked like a statue. Asuna tried to get him to snap out of it, but nothing seemed to work. “Don’t pressure him,” Konoka alisema while trying to get her to stop. “Something is probably scaring him.” Asuna could only chuckle. “What is so scary about this place? Other than the fact it’s a dark, shadowy place filled with trees, bushes, and nature. What zaidi is there to be scared of?” That was when the loud bellowing sounds started once again. All of the girls covered their ears while screaming. As the bellowing stopped, they uncovered their ears. “What in the heck was that?!” Asuna asked. “I-I-I-It was very scary!” Nodoka added. Setsuna got her katana out while standing in front of Konoka. “It’s a beast! I know it is!” Konoka seemed to be the only one who wasn’t completely scared of the whole situation. “Why don’t we continue walking and let’s see what is making the noise.” Everyone was quite while staring at Konoka. “How can wewe be mtulivu, clam about this?!” Setsuna asked. Konoka could only smile. “It’s not that terrifying for me,” Konoka responded. “It might be a monster but the lease we could do is going out and find out what it is.” Her response to this surprised everyone. Setsuna only sighed while smiling. “You’re right Konoka. Let’s go and see what’s going on.” Chamo gave a little cheer. “Yeah! Let’s go together!” With that said, they all continued walking through the woods. Though it was a slow process sense Negi was still frozen and the girls had to pull and push him. He would eventually snap back after awhile.

Walking about fifty minutes, they saw a figure standing out on the right side of the path. It was Negi’s cousin, Nekane. She appears to be looking at something through the right side of the forest. “Nekane!” Negi alisema while running to her. She turned around slowly and changed the expression on her face to a little smile. “Hello Negi,” She alisema softly. “I’m glade you’re here. Did Chamo explain everything?” Negi nodded. “So, what is going on?” Nekane’s expression changed as she turned her head back to the right direction. Negi watched and soon turned to the right too. The expression on his face shifted into shock and amazement. “What is it Negi?” Asuna asked. “I-I-I-I-I can’t believe this!” He exclaimed. Asuna wanted to look, but Konoka grabbed her arm. “Let me go! I want to see too!” Konoka shook her head while putting zaidi pressure on her the grip in her hand. Nekane turned to them and said, “You all are zaidi than welcomed to take a look too. It’s something wewe all will be amazed.” With that being said, Asuna was the first to race to them and take a look at what was going on. She too shifted her expression to amazement. “Wow!!!” Konoka, Nodoka, and Setsuna slowly walked towards them and turned slowly too. Like everyone else, their expressions shifted too. What they saw was a large, real dinosaur lying on the ground, covered with cuts and wounds and was bleeding on its right leg, which turned out to have something stuck on it like a stick. “So this is the thing that made the noises,” Negi alisema while still uigizaji surprised. “How did it get here?” Nekane responded that she had no idea how it got here. She explained that she and Chamo were walking in the woods earlier and that they saw the creature sick and wounded. “It was all I could do,” Nekane said. “I knew that wewe would do something to help it.” Negi wasn’t sure what she meant. “Asuna stop!” Konoka was trying to stop her from going down to take a good look at the thing. The others also decided to come down and see the creature as well. “Don’t take another step Asuna,” Konoka alisema while attempting to follow her. “That thing might attack.” Asuna, being herself, didn’t listen. She did however learn not to get too close to it. “Aha! I figured it out,” She exclaimed while returning to them. “It was this thing that left the print! It was a dinosaur!” Asuna’s reaction to this did surprise everyone a little. Nodoka on the hand noticed something. “Look at its right leg, “She added. “It’s got something on it.” Nekane added that she believes it’s a stick. “I noticed it was trying to pull it out kwa itself,” She said. “But every inch it pulled, it would scream and bellow.” “That explains what the racket was about earlier.” Negi said. Konoka felt bad for the creature. “What can we do to help it?” She asked. Nekane also added that she tried to help pull the stick out but it would be aggressive. “Maybe it wants to do it on its own,” Chamo said. “I think it’s possible why it got so aggressive towards you.” Negi was confused. “But, if it wants to get the stick on its own, why did wewe need me?” Negi asked Nekane. She turned to him and gave him a little smile. “Because wewe know what to do when it does get the stick out.” After a sekunde of thinking, he finally knew what she meant. “Oh okay,” He said. “I will be ready”.

It was about a dakika later when everyone stayed with the poor, weak dinosaur. The creature would try its hardest to take the stick out from its skin and every inch of pulling, it would cry and bellow. Negi and the others watched with agony and drama as all of this was going on. “You can do it,” Nodoka alisema hoping that a little cheer would help. “You can do it. Just a little bit more.” Konoka observed Nodoka’s cheer while smiling. “She seems to have care for this thing.” “I feel bad for it,” Setsuna started to speak. “I feel bad for this creature. It seems like a gentle giant and someone au something did all of this to it. I would like to know who would do such a thing to a creature like this.” Konoka also looked at Setsuna, surprised she had feelings for this thing. “You appear to like this giant too don’t you?” She asked while giggling. Setsuna, who had no idea she was observing the whole thing, blushed really hard while attempting to cover her whole face. Konoka laughed. Nekane started yawning. Negi was about to go to sleep when the dinosaur’s loud bellowing awoke him. It turned out to wake everyone up. After a long, long time of waiting the dinosaur had its final pull. Everyone waited impatiently and concern as they watched the dinosaur pull the final part of the stick. Once when that was done, everyone cheered. Negi soon remembered what he had to do and with his magical stick, he cast a magic spell that quickly healed the entire creature. The dinosaur opened its eyes slowly and looked around. It then noticed Negi and the other girls standing a few feet away. The dinosaur slowly rose from the ground, revealing its true size. Everyone was amazed kwa how big and tall it was. Not a word was spoken from them. The giant slowly walked to them and bowed. It was then that it started to talk. “Thank wewe very much for helping me. Sorry if I have wasted your time. Goodbye.” Turning to the left, the giant slowly walked out from the right side of the forest, entered onto the pathway, and turned right while standing on its hind legs and running away. Negi and the other girls were totally shocked kwa what they had experienced. “What just happened?” Asuna asked while her mouth was wide open. “It-It spoke to us.” Nodoka said. Konoka and Setsuna were shocked too, but never alisema anything. Nekane just acted normally. She looked at Negi, who too was also shocked. “I-I-I don’t believe all of this..” Negi alisema slowly. “I just healed a thing that not only understands me but talks too.” Nekane smiled and giggled softly.

As the siku turned into evening, Asuna, Konoka, and Negi were in their room. “Should we forget about this whole thing?” Asuna asked. Konoka and Negi didn’t know what to think. “It happened so I am not sure what we should do.” Negi said. “Do wewe think it would be awful if we did tell everyone?” Konoka asked while putting her pajamas on. “I don’t know.” Negi responded. He soon formed a serious expression on his face appearing to be thinking. “if this thing stays around town, can we honestly trust it? What if it’s from another universe? What if it’s an enemy? What if?” It appears the Negi has too many “What if?” maswali to ask and need majibu for. But all of that will be revealed in due time.
