But Cora loved Regina, the problem is she doesn't have her heart. I think Alphonse is worst!

Alphonse loved his children too. He was distraught when Gerhardt died and he just wanted his other son to make something of himself, much like Cora. The difference is he didn't kill his sons lover in order to get him to do what he wanted.

Not that that makes him anything close to a good parent, mind. He'd be out next if it were up to me, then Ana's mother, then Maurice. At this point I think we've eliminated all the parents that didn't love their children (although I believe George did love James). Now it's down to the ones that thought they were doing what was best for their children but failed utterly.

I can understand picking Alphonse or Ana's mother above Cora because they really were awful, but I still cant understand why people are choosing Milah.

Alphonse should already be gone IMO. Ana's mother and Rumple would be a close second for me. And agreed @wolfdreamer9 about the leaving your child thing, but Alphonse didn't even accept Victor for he was that's why I picked him. Also Rumple letting Bae fall through the portal was selfish. But IMO out of all of these Alphonse is the worst. He acted like he hated Victor after the Gerhardt incident (although he did love Gerhardt) he is like the male equivalent of Ana's mother.

Letting Bae fall though the portal wasn't selfish it was cowardly. Think about the last time he went through one of those portals looking for a new life with someone he loved. You can't really blame him for reacting badly.

It was selfish because he chose power over his own son. It was cowardly too though. Plus Bae wasn't going to leave him in the new land, his father was able to do that because he was older and the father. It was what Bae wanted.

Btw who picked Eva? She's one of the best IMO.

I agree with minervadawn about Rumpel; we found out in season three that he didn't really choose power over Bae, he was terrified of what happened the last time he was in that situation with someone he cared about.

I dont think his thinking was quite that rational at the particular moment. I think he saw the portal and instantly connected it his traumatic abandonment. Maybe if Bae had warned him about it before he would have had time to think it though and realize that Bae was nothing like his father. Considering how quickly he realized his mistake after the fact I think if Bae had just given him a little more time to get over his initial fear of the portal he would have gone with no regrents.
