Dawson POV:
I walked around town trying to find Anna when I passed a grave yard. It was dark but I could make out a figure laying kwa a grave. As I walked closer I saw Anna, she was asleep and had tear stains on her face.
"Anna," I sat inayofuata to her. Her eyes fluttered open. They where red and puffy. She sat up and got close to me. I wrapped my arm around her and she put her head on my chest. "Are wewe okay?" I asked.
"I am now..." I brushed threw her hair.
"Do wewe want me to bring wewe home?" I asked.
"No! Anywhere but there!" She sat up.
"Well, wewe can come to my house." I suggested. She nodded and we left for my Mom's house. I was not going to my Dad's. When we got there my mom was gone and Dawn was already at Dad's. "Hungry?" At the restaurant she stormed out before we could even eat. I don't understand why she left though.
"No thanks," She stood right inayofuata to me.

Anna POV:
I walked around the living room, looking at his family pictures. There was a women, man, Dawson, and a girl in almost all of them. The man and women looked really familiar. I heard someone walk in and saw Dawson with no shati on, "Sorry, need to get my shati from the dryer," I was about to scream. He had abs and was looking fine! I looked at the family picture again, I know who these people are. The guy was in a big boy-band with my dad.
"So," He asked walking closer to me, "Wanna watch a movie au something?"
"Um, okay." He was looking through a movie box as I sat awkwardly on the couch.
"Dawson?" I asked breaking the silence.
"Yeah?" He asked still rumbling through the movies.
"Do wewe think I could stay here for awhile?" He looked over at me.
"Of course," He smiled at me, "You can stay here as long as wewe want."
We decided to watch Over the Hedge. I felt like we where getting and closer and closer. I was watching the TV but wasn't paying attention to what they were saying. I was mainly thinking about my dad and that women. My pants started to vibrate, taking me away from my thoughts. It was my dad.
"Who is it?" Dawson asked.
"No one," I tossed my phone on the coffee table. I scooted really close to Dawson, we where almost touching and I could smell his minty-fresh breath. I looked over at him and he looked back. He leaned in and so did I. A door swung over and we both jumped up.
"Dawson! Your suppose to be at your dad's!" The lady from the picture yelled.
"Alright, I put the car..." My dad walked through the front door, "Anna?" He asked, "What are wewe doing here?"
"I could ask wewe the same thing," I shot back.
"Don't catch an attitude with me!" He demanded.
"Oh so it's okay to lie, but it's not okay to have an attitude?" I could tell I was making him mad, "And wewe know what, mom wouldn't be proud of you either!" I grabbed my mfuko wa fedha, mfuko and ran out the door, Dawson following me. I walked slowly down the road. Dawson grabbed my hand, "Anna, tell what's going on! Please, I care about wewe and want to help. Please."
I hugged him, "I care about wewe too, and," I took a breath, "Okay,a few years zamani my mom died. My dad told me that, even though I can't see her she's still her with me. He gave me a little speech, and then he left my room and went to his. A few weeks later I passed kwa my dad's room and heard someone crying. I ran inside the room and found it torn apart." I sat down on the cold, wet nyasi and he sat inayofuata to me, "I asked him what happened, he said, "I just fell." Being 12 I believed him. Then I found out that he didn't fall, he had a panic attack and threw stuff everywhere. I decided it would be best to songesha out of that house and live with my Aunt Terry for a few weeks... But my dad couldn't handle me being away, I was all he had," I felt a tear go down my face. "He told me that he would never lie to me again." I laughed a little, "But I guess he lied."
"Lie? Why?" Dawson asked.
"When I was leaving the restaurant I saw my dad with that lady that was in there," I pointed to his house that was just in seeing-distance.
"That lady is my mom," Dawson stated.
"What? Well, that man is my dad."
"Shit," He spat.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing, it's just.. I really like you." Hearing him say that made me blush a little.
"Well I like wewe too, but we can't be together. Our parents are practically dating."
"I know," He whispered
