"So tell me what I've missed since wewe hit stardom." I say, glancing at Niall. "Not too much, really." he says. "Has there been anyone?" I question. "It's complicated right now." Niall majibu hesitantly. "Oh." I say, looking down. He clears his throat. "What about you, Kate?" I shake my head. "No one." Niall stops me. "Oh come on, I know there has been at least one lad." I look at him bitterly. "I alisema no one, Niall. No one means no one." I turned quickly and went into the student garden. "Kate..." Niall started softly, following me into the garden. "Stop." I alisema quietly. I did not need another lecture from someone about my upendo life, especially him. "You have to have someone that wewe want." Niall says. Tears well up in my eyes. "The only person I wanted left. Then, he came back and now I want him all over again. But wewe know what, Niall? It's complicated with him and a much prettier girl!" I snapped, trying to hold back my tears. "What are wewe saying Kate?" he asks, clearly confused kwa my outburst. "I'm saying I want you, Niall." I snapped again. Then turning my back to him I whispered, "I want you." The silence from behind me is enough to know that I made a mistake. "I'm going home." I mumur quietly, leaving the garden and heading to the nurse's office. Now there's no chance of ever being with Niall. It's going to be awkward between us now. I tell myself sadly.
