Tonights episode was really good I thought. I've spent pretty every season of OTH not really liking Nathan. But I absolutely loved Nathan in tonights episode and I feel bad for him. Neither of these things happen often.
Nathan was definately the best character tonight. I felt so bad for him. I really do think that he should have told Haley about Carrie's behavior long zamani however that doesn't justify Haley's behavior tonight at all. I think she completely overreacted. She didn't listen to a single word that nathan alisema yet she listened to every single word that a crazy woman says!
I'm having a hard time liking Haley this season for various reasons. I know she's had a hard time, with nathans accident and her new job and everything but it's not an excuse. Sure Nathan was horrible(even worse than I normally think he is) at the beginning of this season. But i have to give him credit for trying. he tries really hard. but I have a hard time defending haley's behavior this season. I just don't feel bad for her.
She's had a hard time after nathans accident cuz he was uigizaji like an punda and drinking too much...well hello earth wewe haley it's nathan he is an punda it's his nature. wewe may have helped him to change but when people are faced with their worst moments they are who they are and frankly thats what nathan is. I give him all the credit in the world for coming back from where he was. but back to haley, sure she's had a hard time since nathans accident, since he wasn't able to care for jamie, but was she alone in caring for Jamie, absolutely not!!! lucas helped her care for Jamie, Lucas is a great uncle and in that aspect keith would be proud of him. Sure Nathan was how he was for 4 months but no she absolutely was not a single mother for 4 months.
I can understand that she may feel like she's alone because she hasn't been able to depend on nathan for as much since he is recovering from his injury. However if she goes through it alone it's because SHE chose to not because she didn't have anyone. Lucas has always been a great best friend to Haley and he still is. he'd do anything he could for her, all she had to do was talk to him. they talk about everything and if she chose not to then thats on her. If for some reason she thought she couldn't then she has Lindsey too, they are obviously very close. Haley may feel alone which is understandable but ultimately she isn't alone unless she choses to be. She knows damn well Lucas will always be there for her when she needs him.
Nathan was definately wrong for not telling Haley about carrie sooner, I don't defend him for that. However Haley is far from innocent in this whole mess. She is hardly ever nyumbani do to her job and her work with Peyton. I think its great that Haley wants to get back into muziki and she deserves to be able to do what she wants but not at the expense of her haley, which it clearly has been. I know haley loves her muziki but I believe she was using as a way of taking a step back from her family situation. In my opinion instead of talking with nathan, which hello he has been capable of doing for several episodes now, au leaning on the support of friends. she turns to her music, which in and of itself isn't a probably, but it becomes a problem when its stopping wewe from being nyumbani as much as wewe should be.
do i think she's a bad mother, no but I think she could be alot better...I mean damn it your kid thinks of his nanny as him mother, she even lives your house, which in itself is creepy, especially since jamie is at school all day, but thats off topic.
Neither Haley au Nathan are perfect but when it comes right down to it, I have to defend Nathan all the way on this one. Haley may have her problems but the one thing is not is ALONE. None of what she has gone through defends her actions in the last several episodes.
Don't get the wrong idea Im not defending nathans treatment of haley in the beginning of this season, he definately made be wanna slap him and made me feel bad for haley. But that was several episodes ago, I'm now beyond feeling bad for haley. if she wants to be alone let her be alone but it was never because she's actually alone because she choses to be.
I'm offically off team haley lol....
