All too soon, it was time for the members of The Devil Wants Peace to leave. They had to be in another city for kwa the inayofuata day. The eight Marafiki alisema their goodbyes and parted ways. Not long after that, Paul got Nunavut's ashes. Erin asked, "How do wewe feel about it, Paul?" He said, "There is a sadness to it, but at the same time, I feel a comfort in knowing that Nunavut is nyumbani now." Carl asked, "Are wewe going to scatter his ashes?" Paul replied, "No, I'm going to place him on my bedroom shelf inayofuata to Yukon. It's only appropriate." Lola said, "It is very fitting. Yukon and Nunavut were very close." Paul nodded. He said, "Yes. It makes sense that they were close, especially considering the fact that they had matching names." After a pause, he said, "I think I can finally write a song for Nunavut." Paul grabbed his notebook and his guitar, and soon, some words came to him:

"The siku wewe left
Was a siku of sorrow.
I wish I could have another day.
Even then, it wouldn't be enough.
I didn't have enough time with you.

I upendo wewe and miss you.
But I know you're always with me.
You're always in my heart,
And in spirit we're never apart."

He let his mates listen to his new song. Erin said, "That's beautiful, Paul." Lola said, "Indeed." Carl nodded in agreement. After that, they went to the recording studio, thus completing their new album. They titled it "In Spirit We're Never Apart" in honor of Paul's song for Nunavut.

Summer began. Anjanette started working at Tammy's parents' pet shelter again right away, taking on even zaidi hours now that she didn't have to factor in school. Between the wanyama at the shelter, and Misty and Blitz at home, Anjanette was surrounded kwa wanyama and couldn't have been happier about it.
Ferdinand got a part-time job behind the counter of a local muziki store. He listened to records and tried out the different instruments he was working with, and didn't seem at all worried about taking a mwaka off to figure out exactly what it was he wanted to do after high school.
Becky called up...

Graduation went really well. Nobody tripped, and it wasn't too long-winded. After the ceremony ended, Anjanette talked with her Marafiki some more. She said, "I can't believe it. We finally finished high school." Ferdinand said, "I know. It all went kwa so quickly." Tammy added, "We've been through a lot together, wewe know?" Becky said, "Yes, we have." Anjanette then said, "It's going to be weird not seeing wewe all every day." Ferdinand put and hand on her shoulder and said, "I wouldn't worry about that now." Tammy said, "Yeah. Besides, we can still be friends, even if we're scattered around...

Anjanette and her Marafiki had been at their high school for four years, and the time was coming when they would soon graduate.
"So did wewe ask my parents?" Tammy asked Anjanette as the four Marafiki stood in front of their lockers before class one day.
Anjanette nodded. "They alisema I was one of the best workers they ever had, and they'd upendo to take me on full-time at the shelter after I graduate."
Tammy gave a little squeal. "Yay! I knew you'd get it. You're so good with our animals."
Ferdinand gave Anjanette a quick hug. "That's great, Anjanette. Looks like you'll be the first one of us to have...

The night of the onyesha finally arrived. A Wave Tossed in the Ocean rehearsed backstage for a while. Pretty soon, the crowd arrived. They were already cheering. Charles said, "Listen to them! They're so excited!" Les said, "You're right. They're just as eager as they were the last time we were on the road." Henry said, "I know wewe boys will do well. It's time for the show." The crowd went wild as A Wave Tossed in the Ocean went onstage. Jimmy alisema into his microphone, "Good evening, everyone! It's great to be back! Are wewe ready to rock?!" The crowd cheered that much louder. He said, "Then, we've...

Jimmy was sitting nearby in the hotel room, kusoma a comic on his bed. He lowered it when Les came over. "Was that Felix saying wewe needed me? Jimmy at your service." He grinned.
Les had to smile. "Want to go somewhere we can talk?"
Jimmy stood up. "Sure."
The two best Marafiki left the hotel and walked down the dark city streets. It did feel better already, outside in the open air. When they reached a small park, empty at this time of night, Jimmy sat down on a bench and Les followed him.
"Now. I'm always ready to help my best friend. What's up?"
Les took a breath. "I'm scared of going back on...

A Wave Tossed in the Ocean enjoyed the ride with Henry to their destination except for Les. He couldn't keep those negative thoughts out of his head. Felix kept noticing that Les was very distant. This wasn't like Les. He would normally be very excited about the tour. Once they made it to the city of their first show, they decided to get chajio, chakula cha jioni before going to the hotel. They stopped at a pizza parlor. Les was grazing at it. Henry asked, "Are wewe all right, Les?" Les said, "I'm fine." Henry then said, "You've hardly touched your food. Are wewe sure you're all right?" Les said, "I'm just tired."...

"All right!" cried Charles happily. "Time to get out there and onyesha ourselves to the world again!"
"We're back on the road!" laughed Jimmy in agreement, and they slapped their hands together in something between a handshake and a high-five.
The band and Henry were waiting outside for their car to come and take them to their first destination. Mostly Charles and Jimmy had been doing the talking, Charles enthusiastically wondering how their mashabiki would like the new songs he'd spent their break working on, and Jimmy encouraging him.
"I've been dying for our mashabiki to hear this one. I think it's my best...

It had been a while since A Wave Tossed in the Ocean had been on tour. The last time they went on tour, they had to end it early. Towards the final leg of the tour, Henry had a moyo attack. Thankfully, it was a mild one, and the doctor alisema that he would make a full recovery. The band decided to cancel the remainder of the tour and issue refunds to their fans. They also needed time to rest and relax themselves after such an extensive tour. Some time passed, and Henry was up to travelling again, as long as he didn't lift anything heavy, which he knew his boys wouldn't mind. He alisema to them,...

Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I decided to try the tag maswali that Kayla (BingoPB) did. Without further ado, I'll get started.

3. Do wewe usually remember your dreams in the morning? Yes

4. How old were wewe when wewe found out that Santa wasn’t real? I think I was eight, maybe nine.

Hank and Paul arranged the double tarehe with Charity and Maeve. When the boys arrived at the restaurant, Hank asked, "Are wewe nervous, Paul?" Paul said, "A little." Hank said, "It'll be all right. You'll see." Once they made it inside the restaurant, they found that Charity and Maeve were already waiting for them. Before the boys could say anything, Charity alisema to Paul, "You must be Paul. I feel like I know so much about wewe because of how much Hank talks about you." Paul blushed. "Hank talks about me? What does he say?" She said, "He talks about how you've helped him so many times over the...

When the thirty dakika were up, Hank and Paul's father came back into the room. Paul and Hank still weren't looking at each other, but neither one was quite as angry anymore.
"That's better," their father said. "Now, let me see if I can figure this out. I know my sons, you've always been as different as wewe can be, but I've seen wewe be best Marafiki and support each other since wewe could both talk...."
Paul and Hank glanced at each other and quickly looked away again, both slightly ashamed.
Their father leaned against a meza, jedwali with his arms folded, looking at both his sons intently. "So wewe must...

Later that afternoon, when Hank and Paul got home, Paul told Hank, "I have some exciting news!" Hank said, "I do too, but I'm willing to let wewe tell me first." Paul said, "I got a date!" Hank said, "Really? Me too!" Paul said, "That's so cool! What's she like?" Hank said, "Her name is Charity. She was at the cheerleader tryouts. What's your tarehe like?" Paul said, "Her name is Maeve. She is in the drama club. We got the lead for the upcoming play. She came here last year, but she was scared to try out for the school plays." Hank said, "I've heard of Maeve. Isn't she the weirdo everyone says...

Meanwhile, Hank and his buddies all met in the school gymnasium to watch the cheerleader tryouts. As they took their seats they discussed who might be selected.
"I hope we get some pretty cheerleaders this year. Last year's batch were good and all, but kinda plain, wewe know?"
"Yeah. We want someone who looks like - that blonde girl down there. Know who she is, Hank?"
As his friend asked the question, Hank looked down to see. His friend was pointing at an unfamiliar girl, chatting happily away with two of last year's cheerleaders with a bright smile on her face. She had fluffy, curly hair the colour...

When Paul went to the drama club, he saw some familiar faces. His Marafiki were there. There were also some acquaintances he had been with in school plays in the past. He saw one girl who he had not seen before. She kept her long, brown hair in a ponytail, and she wore blue jeans. She seemed laid back and fairly quiet. Was she the one for him? At the very least, they could possibly be good friends. She took notice of him too. She said, "Hello." He thought she seemed friendly enough, so he alisema "hello" back. She said, "I'm Maeve. What's your name?" He said, "I'm Paul. Are wewe new here?" She said,...

Things had been going pretty well for Hank and Paul since both had passed their drivers' tests. The brothers felt like best Marafiki again zaidi than ever, now that Hank's buddies had stopped bothering Paul. And now that they were both driving, zaidi extracurriculars, taking place all over their city and not just at the school, were an option for them - which was very exciting.
"How's the new theatre group, Paul?" There was a bit of a laugh in Hank's voice, from the part of him that could not understand for the life of him what there was to enjoy about theatre, but Paul could still tell he was...

What a mwaka this has been! Paul and I moved into our house earlier this year. Jan moved close to us with her cousin, and we made a new friend in her new girlfriend, Ella.

With that being said, this mwaka wasn't without heartache. We Lost our sweet Saturn over the summer. We still miss him very much. He was gone too soon, but he left behind beautiful memories, and we will always...

At Hank's football game, though, Paul got quite the surprise.
Hank was doing really well on the field, and even though Paul didn't really like au understand football, he was sitting in the front row cheering for his brother. He could see Hank and his Marafiki on the benches whenever they weren't on the field, excitedly talking about all the places they could drive now, and he was just happy Hank was happy.
At halftime, while Hank was cooling off with some water and Paul was considering going to get something to eat, three of Hank's Marafiki whispered together for a few moments, staring right at...
