Private's point of view:
I dashed to the hole, fighting the crowd, with their shoves and elbows. I immediately got on my tippy-toes and watched through the blemish. I told myself no matter who he was going against, I'd cheer for my dad. Then, his challenger, waddled out. At first, I thought I was imagining it. It couldn't be, It just couldn't. He was dead, but I was proven wrong when Skipper turned to look at me. He hastefully turned his head, and met my dad. His sorrowful eyes met mine again. I then heard the shot ring out. They both paused, Skipper closed his eyes as if in pain. Finally, he made the first songesha and struck my dad with a punch. The blow caused him to fall to the floor. I tried to scream when I saw blood drip from his face, but nothing came out. In return, dad threw Skipper back to the wall. He grasped his throat violently. Skipper grabbed his beak and began to twist. He let go and Skipper let out his wrath. One flipper held tightly onto his head and the other on his jugular, Skipper began to twist, but stopped and listened serenly to something dad said. His head slowly turned to me. Once again, he looked deep into my eyes. I glared at him in disgust and let out a growl. Seeming to notice, he turned to my father and nodded thoughtfully and alisema something sincerely. My rage bubbled. I covered my eyes and I knew it was over when I heard applause. I was foolishly hopeful that they were cheering because a comeback. I opened my eyes to see Skipper standing hunched over in shame.

Skipper's point of view:
Not only was I a disgrace now, but a monster, too. I hung my head low as I was picked up and declared the winner. I was taken to the same ugly room in the same terrible building. The girl came out once again. She bathed me as she did before.
G: "You and I are a bit alike. I'm far from nyumbani myself. If I would call that alley a home. My parents died in a car crash when a was younger. I waited for them for three days. We were already in fiancial problems and I couldn't pay the bills, so I ran away. One night when I fell asleep, I woke up tied up in a sack like an animal. No offense. They taught me how to clean penguins and I did as they said, afraid they'd beat me."
She showed me a colossal scar on her arm.
G: "Don't tell any of the other penguins, but you're my favorite. wewe listen good (well)."
She patted my head and placed zaidi samaki in front of me.
G: "Here, I got wewe the freshest samaki we have. I was supposed to wait to give to a penguin, but why should I give wewe penguins rotten food? I have to eat rotten fish, too."
I felt awful for her. With my beak, I nudged a samaki toward her hand. She consumed it thankfully. Soon I was taken back in the room. I rushed through the crowd searching for Private. He was going to HATE me.

Private's room: (No one's point of view)
Skipper's eyes scanned frantically around for Private. I found him hiding behind a stranger.
P: "Leave me, alone!"
S: "Private, it's me!"
P: "No, you're a monster! A murderer!"
S: "Private, I'm sorry! wewe have to forgive me!"
P: "No! wewe killed my father!"
S: "That was your father?"
P: "It doesn't matter to you!"
S: "Of course it does, Private!"
P: "I hate you!"
S: "Look at me, Private! Look at me!"
Private looked into his eyes.
S: "I'm the same Skipper that took care of you, Private! I still would do anything for you!"
P: "If wewe really would do anything for me it would have been my dad who made it out of the battle, Skipper!"
S: "I can't believe wewe alisema that."
P: "Well .... I did,"
S: "I know I'm not your father, Private, but I was there for you. I needed to survive, Private."
Skipper began to walk away, but Private stopped him.
P: "I wasn't finished."
S: "I was, but if you're not hiding anymore, like I'm a pyschopath, that's an improvement, right?"
P: "What do wewe want me to do, Skippah?! wewe killed my dad! And now wewe just want me to forgive you?"
S: "I know, it's hard, Private, but wewe have to, please! I was forced to do it!"
P: "If this was your dad and wewe had to forgive the soldier who killed him in that war, could you? Answer me!"
S: "If they raised me. Private, I had to do this to survive! This is exactly why I never told wewe about Denmark!"
P: "You killed people?!"
S: "No! I had to do things to survive, wewe wouldn't understand, Private!"
P: "If wewe care so much about you're own survival so much then how am I sure that you'd 'do anything for me!' Huh?"
S: "Because if it wasn't for me, wewe wouldn't be here! Remember, how we met?! If I hadn't risked my life to save wewe from those seals, you'd be dead! I'm not a monster!! Don't forget everything I've done for wewe just because of this!"
P: "It should have been you!"
Private rushed off covering his weeping eyes. He fell to the dust-covered floor weeping.
S: "Private?"
P: "Stay away!"
S: "Come on, Private. I'm sorry."
P: "There's a point sorry doesn't cut it, and if wewe didn't notice, now, is one of those times!"
S: "What can I do, Private? Tell me."
P: "You've already blew it."
S: "I see. Private, I'm tired of fighting."
P: "Me too,"
S: "If it makes wewe happy, I'll leave wewe alone."
P: "That would be ... great."
S: "Alright, goodbye, Young Private."
With every word Skipper's voice broke.
P: "Goodbye, Skippah,"
Skipper walked away, but from afar kept an eye on Private. Even though, he might not want him to, he was going to protect Private. That night when Private fell asleep Skipper sat inayofuata to him. Yet Private wasn't quite asleep and watched his ex-best friend.
P: "Why are wewe here? Are wewe worried I'm going to kill wewe while you're sleeping?"
S: "Yeah, right. Oh, I'm Private and I'm going to kill you, Skippah! Sorry, but I can't see that happening. You're not like that. right?"
Skipper chuckled and soon Private joined in the laughter, but Private soon ceased his giggle.
P: "Right, Skippah."
Private got for serious in an instant.
P: "Skippah?"
S: "Yes, Private?"
P: "What did my father say to wewe before he died?"
S: "He told me to take care of you."
P: "What did wewe say?"
S: "I promise, I'll do to protect your son. Because he's like a son to me, too. I will never let anyone hurt him."
Private was speechless.
P: "Um ... I'm pretty tired. Goodnight, Skippah."
S: "The ground is quite solid and cold. Why don't wewe lay your head for me."
P: "No, thanks, I'm good."
Skipper and Private both dozed off in minutes.

Skipper was so confused he paced back and forth, in the snow. He had to figure out a plan to get out, but zaidi importantly how to gain Private's trust back. Then he asked himself where was he? It was an icy wasteland. Wait, it was Antartica. Why was he there? A flash of white glowed from behind him. Skipper turned around on his guard. A voice called out to him from the glow, that calmed him.
?: "Don't be afraid, Skipper."
S: "Who are you? What do wewe want?"
?: "Skipper, wewe don't remember my voice?"
The light formed into a penguin.
S: "Dad?"
SD: "Yes, Skipper."
S: "I'm so confused. My Marafiki and I are being tortured. To make things worse, Private hates. And I don't even have a plan! And-"
SD: "I know, Skipper. I've been watching over you."
S: "What should I do? I'm not like you. I'm afraid."
SD: "It's okay to be afraid, Skipper. When I told wewe that, I was younger than wewe and wewe were younger than Private. I learned that the hard way."
S: "Thanks, but I still don't have a plan."
SD: "You need to learn that wewe can't carry the world upon your shoulders it's to much for one penguin, auk to carry."
S: "Soo, what should I do?"
SD: "I can't give wewe that."
S: "What?! Then ...." *sigh* "Okay,"
SD: "But, I can give wewe a little help. Go to Private, and I will send a sign to trigger a plan in your mind."
S: "Thanks, dad."
SD: "You're welcome,"
S: "Hey, dad?"
SD: "Yes,"
S: "I never really got to ask this, but are wewe proud of me?"
SD: "Of course, I am, Skipper."
S: "Thank you,"
SD: "I also have to warn wewe about, Private. Goodbye, my son."
S: "Dad, wait! Don't leave me! It's not fair! What do wewe mean?"
SD: "Goodbye, Skipper,"
S: "No! Dad! Wait, stay!"
SD: "I'm not even here, Skipper. Soon wewe will wake and I will be gone again."
Skipper njiwa to grab his father's flipper, but kwa the time he got there the glow was gone and so was his father. The ground mgawanyiko, baidisha from under him and he started falling. His destination was the floor of the dank room. He opened his eyes to find Private laying his head on his chest snoring. Gently, Skipper stroked his back.
P: "No, Skippah!"
S: "I'm here and I promise, I'm never going to let them hurt you."
Private woke up with a yawn.
S: "Good morning, you're probably hungry."
P: "I've been starving since wewe got here, but why does it matter we don't have any food."
S: "I wouldn't say that."
P: "Huh?"
Skipper gestured to a pile of samaki he reguritated.
P: "Thanks, Skippah! Where'd wewe get these fish?"
Private alisema with his mouthful.
S: "After each battle wewe get fed."
P: "Oh, what happened when wewe were fighting-"
S: "I don't want to talk about it."
P: "No, when wewe were fighting Ripper."
S: "What about it?"
P: "I thought wewe were dead."
All at once it flashed through his mind.
