And here it is, chapter 11(:
Can I just tell wewe one thing, I really underestimated this kid. wewe should see this, if I had like popcorn and a chair I would be watching this like a movie. Percy, from what I can tell got pushed into the lake kwa Clarisse and her gangs of wild bulls but instead of that making him lose strength, it looked like he was gaining it, which was really weird. Percy swung his sword against David’s head, and knocked his kofia, chapeo off with ease, and he immediately Lost strength and crumbled into the water. Hector and Rob went at Percy, but quickly backed off when Percy slammed when in the stomach with his shield and cut the other ones horse hair plume on his kofia, chapeo off. Clarisse wasn’t ready to give up though, and she pointed her spear at his throat and kept walking toward him. When she went to swing, Percy did the most amazing thing, he caught her spear with his and his sword and twisted it, and it snapped like a pencil. She started screaming and alisema some nasty things that I couldn’t hear, because echoing throughout the woods was the sound of cheering, and I thought the worst. The other team won. But that’s when I heard the signature Stoll brothers whistle; I looked back and saw Luke running toward the boundary line like nothing else mattered in the world. People kept trying to keep Luke back, but the Hermes and Apollo kids had it zaidi than under control. That’s when I heard Clarisse say the smartest thing I’ve heard come out of her mouth, a fact.
‘A trick! It was a trick!”
Everyone from the Ares cabin, kibanda ran after Luke, but there was nothing they could stop. The flag was ours, and they couldn’t take it away. While everybody screamed and cheered and the Ares kids cursed, I went over to Percy, my Yankees cap, herufi kubwa covering my head so I was invisible to the eye.
“Not bad, hero.” He looked around dazed because he couldn’t see me. I decided I wasn’t going to torture him and I took off my cap. “Where the heck did wewe learn to fight like that?” I asked inaonyesha myself. He shook his head and stared at me like he was about to ngumi, punch me in the face, then I realized he was starting to catch on.
“You set me up,” He said, scrunching his eyebrows. “You put me here because wewe knew Clarisse would come after me, while wewe sent Luke around the flank. wewe had it all figured out.” I smiled and shrugged.
“I told you, Athena always, always has a plan.”
“A plan to get me pulverized.”
“I came as fast as I could. I was about to jump in, but…” I smiled and put my cap, herufi kubwa in my pocket. “You didn’t need help.” I looked at his arm that got hit badly kwa Clarisse’s arm, but there was nothing but only a scratch was there, the ones that if wewe dragged her nail down your arm a white mark would onyesha up. No bloods, no wounds, no nothing almost. Soon it was gone, completely gone.
“I- I don’t get it.” He stuttered. I was thinking the exact thing I was thinking days ago, when Clarisse almost shoved Percy head into the toilet… Poseidon.
“Step out of the water Percy.”
“What-” He started to say, but I wasn’t ready to argue.
“Just do it.” I said, attitude sneaking into my tone.
He came out of the creek and his face paled, and he looked like he should’ve, beaten up. I reached my hands out and caught his shoulders.
“Oh Styx… This is not good. I didn’t want… I assumed it would be Zeus.” My face was paler than his, and I really didn’t assume it would be Zeus, I tried convincing myself it was. This really wasn’t good, this boy would be killed one step off of camp grounds.
Then, an ear piercing growl filled the air, and a cold wind blew making me shiver. Everybody looked over and saw what I saw… a black hellhound.
Chiron shouted in Ancient Greek, “Stand ready! My bow!” I drew my sword with no hesitation, there on Zeus’ fist was a black hound bigger than an tembo staring straight ahead… at Percy. I went to pull Percy back and yelled, “Percy, run!” The hound swept past me and landed in between the spot where me and Percy stood. Only one place had hound like these, the Underworld. I turned around and saw him chewing at Percy’s armor and before I could do anything Chiron and Apollo kids shot about 50 arrows at the beasts neck, and he fell, stone cold. Percy’s chest was covered in blood that shined against the setting sun; I got angry when I saw him that badly hurt.
“Di immortals! That’s a hellhound from the Fields of Punishment. They don’t… they’re not supposed to…”
“Someone summoned it,” Chiron said, trotting over. “Someone inside the camp.”
Luke came over behind Chiron, and his eyes looked wider than the sun. I saw Clarisse’s face brighten, and I knew she’d gotten an idea.
“It’s all Percy’s fault! Percy summoned it!” I was about to protest against that , but Chiron beat me to it.
“Be quiet child.”
All eyes were focused on the melting shadow of the hound, until it slowly disappear. I looked over at Percy and he was still loosing a lot of blood.
“You’re wounded, quick, Percy, get into the water.”
“I’m okay.” He told me.
“No, you’re not. Chiron watch this.”
He slowly trudged over and stepped into the creek. The camp was not focused on something different, Percy’s head. People gasped and stared, some of the Ares kids looked at him and whispered to each other. I knew what they were talking about, the green trident revolving around his head in a bright light.
“Percy, um…” I said, pointing to the trident. He looked up and squinted his eyes.
“Your father,” I muttered. “This is really not good.”
Chiron moved closer to us and his face expression looked blank, like he didn’t know what to think.
“It is determined,” Chiron announced, moving in circles to see all the campers. Everyone kneeled respectively, and when I say everyone I mean everyone.
“My father?” Percy asked, pride inaonyesha on his face. Chiron turned to face Percy again, and alisema in the most respective tone anyone could muster together, after finding out another god had broken the law.
“Poseidon,” Chiron alisema loudly. “Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Perseus Jackson, Son of the Sea God.”
I kneeled there, and tears filled my eyes. It wasn’t because I was sad, I probably couldn’t even tell wewe why, and as a tear trickled down my cheek I smiled.
