gaga has nothin on pink !

I'm not a big fan of Lady gaga. Her music's ok, but nothing special. People keep saying how original her music is, but it's not, I've been hearing dance music just like it for years. Just because the way she dresses is original doesn't make her sound original, it's generic dance-pop. She can wear as many wacky outfits as she wants, it will still be generic dance-pop. Maybe if she spent less time trying to look quirky and more time trying to sound quirky she'd be original.

Sorry to her fans, that turned into a mini rant, but I hate faux-quirkiness. It's just like Katy Perry, she tries to be quirky, but truly quirky people don't try. If you're really quirky it's for self expression not attention, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry strike me as classic 'faux quirkies' who only do it so people say "ooh, they're so original' when really it's a calculated, market researched attention grab.

Er, again, no offense meant to her fans, it's just a pet peeve, and I'm sure I like lots of music and artists that other people think suck.

Killara, adding Miley Cyrus makes no sense, the question isn't 'who is your favourite singer?' is specifically asks people if they prefer Pink or Lady Gaga. You adding Miley makes no more sense than if I'd added 'I like bunny rabbits, aren't they cute' or 'ice cream is tasty' In the future I suggest you actually read the question before adding something, otherwise you might just make yourself look silly like you did here.
