The end of the summer is here again.
I feel the same melancholy I have felt
since I first knew summers ended –
the melancholy of the crickets’ valiant singing
in the early coming dusk,
the melancholy of the boy who soon must return to school –
the melancholy of the summer’s end.
I wish that I could be again
eleven years old in the backyard
watching the night come early
and feeling the change in the leaves
the crickets can’t sing away.
I wish I had to go back to school –
so I could be eleven years old again and dread it.

Why must I like the crickets grow old?
Why must I like the summer end?

Burning wish,
unleashing desire.

I look straight into
your eyes
so wewe could see,
so wewe could feel
this silence that burns
slowly and
my feelings are strong.

I have been dreaming
of you
for so long,
waiting for this moment
of the truth,
so I could tell you,
so I could onyesha you.

Unlock my heart
and you'll see,
my body burns for you.
Hear me!
Hear me calling your name
in this silent night,
feel me,
my skin is burning.

My fingers in your hair
go down on your neck,
nails slip slowly
in your soft skin,
now I want wewe even more.
Your silence burns
inside me,
you want to observe me.

Did wewe find my desires
scary,
or wewe like that...

She Doesn't Know

kwa Cody Herman

Through the window I stare inayofuata door

When is she coming out

She's the only one I adore

But then why do I doubt

Her hair is golden like the sun

Shining bright and strong for all to see

She looks at me and I'm undone

I didn't foresee that she was the one for me

Why do I hesitate

It wasn't too long ago

My moyo beats at a faster rate

But she doesn't know

The power she has over me

I putty in her hands

She just couldn't leave me be

Her wish is my command

When will I find the courage

To tell her how I feel

Am I able to break this bridge

Will I stand au I kneel

I can't do it

I'm afraid she'll say no

I need to get a grip

She still doesn't know

Remember,

wewe said...

wewe said
wewe would
try to make
this up.

wewe said
wewe wanted
me kwa your side.

wewe said
I would be happy,
I would be
happy this time.

wewe said.

wewe said
wewe wanted
the fresh start
for us,
wewe said
wewe wanted us
back,
wewe wanted
me back.

wewe promised.

wewe said
wewe would
try,
wewe said
that things
would be better
this time,
wewe said
I would feel
better
from now.

Remember,
wewe said.

No zaidi tears,
wewe said,
no more
empty words,
remember?

wewe said.

wewe said
wewe wanted
a fresh start
for us.
wewe said,
no zaidi pain,
wewe said,
no more.

And no zaidi lies
now I say,
sell them
some where else.
Broken promises,
that's all
wewe gave,
no zaidi pain,
that's what
wewe said.

These poems (not written kwa me) are dedicared to my best Marafiki who I missed very badly.

1. When your look at me I look like nothing is bothering me but once wewe look away and I look at wewe a tear slowly comes rolling down my cheek and I whisper: I miss you....

2. I miss wewe when something really good happens, because wewe are the one I want to share it with. I miss wewe when something is troubling me, because wewe are the one who understands me so well. I miss wewe when I laugh & cry because I know that wewe are the one that makes my laughter grow and my tears disappear. I miss wewe all the...

THe world is cruel,

when we are young we ride above the clouds in the bubble of innocence
but as we age we begin to sense the pain behind our parents faces
we see then that really, not everyone is nice.

we begin to understand that "your not invited to my birthday party" is the deadliest threat we can make

and that one siku someone will hate me for who I am and someone will hate wewe for who wewe are,

because your not a cheerleader
because I am a cheerleader

because I have brown eyes
because wewe have white skin

because I have two dads
because wewe have one mom and no dad

because your grandparents were Chinese
because I'm Jewish

And why will people do this?

Because the world is a cruel place.

None of these things are true about me, they are simply examples of the stupid things people will judge wewe by.

Throughout misty forest
wewe seek for spark of hope.
Your life held by
darkness thoughts,
anchor is
some place else.

Bad luck follows wewe
like a hook,
won't let wewe go,
won't leave wewe alone.

wewe smile today,
and cry whole eternity,
like that's your fate,
disturbing thoughts
to lie inside of you,
to take away everything
that wewe hope for.

Devil is calling your name,
leaves wewe not,
wewe don't see the Angel on
your shoulder,
trying to give wewe a strength.

wewe long for life
that wewe don't know of,
wewe seek for peace,
trying to get away
from misty forest
that stains your heart
into black.

WHEN wewe ARE OLD
by William Butler Yeats

When wewe are old and gray and full of sleep
And nodding kwa the fire, take down this book
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with upendo false au true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars murmur, a little sadly, how upendo fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead and hid his face among a crowd of stars.

LOVESONG kwa Ted...

why did wewe cheat on me?
why did I deserve that?
I loved wewe so much, I still do,
and if wewe asked for me back,
I would probably come.

that's because I upendo you,
and you've got a hold on me,
why did I have to see you,
with another girl in your arms,
your a cheat that's all I can say!!

I loved wewe and wewe just threw it away,
but that's it im done with wewe now,
im not trying anymore,
I could of been the best thing wewe ever had,
wewe don't know what wewe have got until wewe loose it,
your a cheat and that's all I can say,
now its time for me to go my own way.
Though your mischievous eyebrows
Give wewe a singular air,
Not that of an angel,
Sorceress with Siren's eyes,

I adore you, my madcap,
My ineffable passion!
With the pious devotion
Of a priest for his idol.

Your stiff tresses are scented
With the desert and forest,
Your head assumes the poses
Of the enigma and key.

Perfume lingers about your flesh
Like incense about a censer,
You charm like the evening,
Tenebrous, passionate nymph.

Ah! the most potent philtres
Are weaker than your languor,
And wewe know the caresses
That make the dead live again !

Your haunches are enamored
Of your back and your bosom
And wewe delight...

I songesha a hundred steps
to fix my pace
but all your love
inflicts my grace
falling
running
trying to get clean
but the confort
your love
it captures me

I songesha behind the lines
to hide from the new
to hide from from addiction
to hide from you
falling
running
trying to hide
but the meledy
the sound
it drags me back

I songesha between the beats
to cover my sins
but everytime your near me
The bottle of gin, gini slowly didapears
falling
falling
sweeter than life
your upendo is a drug
your upendo is my high
As life flutters kwa on Angel's wings

The wind whips my hair as I ride through the desolite night sky

My moyo leaps with joy, and drowns wih sorrow

I'm falling down... farther into the abyss

I grab on to a passing Angel's wings
It's my Angel

I stil fall
Unable to let go of My Angel

My Angel, He's broken
Drowning his sorrows in pain
His pain in sorrows

He has seen this unperfect world
Wanting to fix it, trying to fix it

It crushed his soul, broke his spirit
I have seen this world as he has seen it

It broke me too

And we plumet together
Streatched to our braking points

As life fluters kwa on Angel's wings

I have perceiv’d that to be
With those i like is enough,
To stop in company with the rest
At evening is enough,
To be surrounded kwa beautiful,
Curious, breathing,
Laughing flesh is enough…

I do not ask any zaidi delight,
I swim in it as in a sea.
There is something in staying close
To men and women and looking on them,
And in the contact and odor of them,
That pleases the soul well,

All things please the soul,
But these please the soul well.

The black rose
describes him best.
Dark,
just like his world is.
Dark,
just like his eyes.
And yet,
wewe should take a good look
before wewe touch it.

wewe may be hurt
if wewe don’t watch closely.
Rose is so gentle,
isn’t it?
So be careful,
wewe might be hurt.

Careful what wewe wish,
think twice first.
The petals are so soft
and sensitive,
wewe should know what
you’re indulge.

The black rose is apart,
she’s unique,
just like he is...
Nobody can see
the world he created.

He’s fearless,
but he feels.
He’s cold,
but he listens.
He’s mysterious,
but caring.
He understands,
but no longer cares.
He’s empty,
but awake.
He’s lonely,
but he knows...

Without a goal
wewe don’t live,
wewe just watch
your life fading,
without upendo
you’re so empty,
without understanding,
you’re still there,
in the world of your own.

Raised kwa wild animals
People just never quite understand
He maybe different
But he saved me from a lion.
He is not a savage
He's sweet and curious about the human world
As I wonder,"Does he upendo me? Does he know what upendo is?"
My Marafiki and ex-fiance' just can't see
What a wonderful man he is.
Brave, strong, and kind
Also, very attractive!
The jungle so beautiful and free
As he swings on vines, holding me
His loud, Victorious yell
As he yells after fighting a mean animal
au just proud of his jungle.
His muscular, warm, tan skin
Feels so smooth and beautiful
Against my head, as I listen to his heartbeat.
His amber eyes stare into mine
As I touch his shaggy, shoulder length black hair
If he ever gets hurt
I help him doctor his wounds.
We dream of each other, as we both fall into a slumber, as the sun starts to set slowly.

Poem About Criss Angel:

Your illusions make me nervous sometimes
Dangerous emotions in your soul
wewe always push the envelope
Very dangerous and attractive
wewe have never scared me
Wee little girls scream in fear when wewe remove quarters from your arm using a knife, au cutting yourself in half
I don't scream
I marvel in the beauty
I know wewe will survive
I can tell in your hypnotizing amber eyes
Beautiful inside and out
Children look up to you
You're generosity towards the less fortunate are so sweet
Your imagination is wild and amazing
wewe amaze me
I hate that others can't see
What a great person wewe really are
I know how wewe feel
I am too very dark and mysterious
So everyday I feel brave and creative
Because wewe inspire me

Essay #3
1/23/13
Darkness creeps it's way into everyone's mind at a certain point in thier lives. It
worms into the mind without a sound and slowly, over time, grasps at the moyo until,
from the very depths of the dark underworld, it completely ensnares it. Edgar Allen Poe,
an eighteenth centry poet and writer of short stories , displayed many signs of that very
same darkness. The encounters in his mind were often of lingering evil, life after death,
torture, and other unspeakable horrors. One piece of this madman's work, in paticular,
caught the attention...

wewe devastate this land of mine,
Where breeze used to touch the rose petals.

On this field of my innosence
wewe took away the cloudy days,
On this desolated field no rain will fall,
No sun will shine,
Those soft petals are dry now
On this field of mine.

But yours,
wewe grow your Oleander and Ivy,
Your poisonous land as your twisted mind,
wewe aliiba water to dry mine,
I see your Oleander now,
Beautiful and gentle as my rose is never going to be,
Poisonous but never meant to cure me.
