Okaaaay. I wanted to write an article. I did NOT want to write a Pokemon article, but I guess I have to write what my brain says it wants to write. Heck, it could be worse. I like Pokemon. I like lists. I like writing. So here we go on starting Wantadog’s juu 10 Water Pokemon!

Now as anyone who has talked with me about Pokemon will know, water is my inayopendelewa type. Even in real life, water is my sekunde inayopendelewa element, with light being the only thing I like more. There’s just something about water types. It could be that water types have naturally well balanced stats, which make for Pokemon that can fulfill a variety of roles. It could be that water as a whole makes me calmer…or it could just be that water type Pokemon are badass. I’m leaning towards badass, and I’m obviously not the only one too seeing as water is the most common type of Pokemon out there with a grand total of 124 water-type Pokemon which accounts for about 16% of all Pokemon. So obviously I had quite a selection to narrow down to just 10. However, before we get to the actual juu 10, let me take a brief moment to orodha off some honorable mentions.

The juu 10!

10: Slowking

Slowking is a bi-pedal Water/Psychic Pokemon who evolves from Slowpoke if wewe trade him while holding the Kings Rock. This 6’7, 175 lbs Pokemon is bright pink and has a Shellder attached to its head like a crown. This Shellder is spiral-shaped and has a bright red gem attached at the center. Slowking also wears around its neck a red and white ruff.

Because of a unique venom that is released into the Slowking’s brain through the bite, Slowking is gifted with incredible intelligence and psychic ability. On juu of that, Slowking gets even zaidi of this venom kwa the simple act of yawning, making Slowking zaidi and zaidi intelligent with each subsequent yawn, however, if that Shellder were to be removed, Slowking would not only lose its intelligence, but it would also forget every shred of knowledge that it had obtained. Talk about some serious amnesia…On a side note though, that is one hell of a skill I’d upendo to have for college work. No studying necessary. Just yawn and wewe instantly become smarter.

Slowking are as smart as any human, and in most cases, smarter. Slowking are creative and curious and are always trying to learn zaidi while also maintaining the ability to remain calm in any situation. In fact, Slowking is noted to have such an easygoing personality that it is never stressed. Ever. Slowking is capable of understanding and speaking human language and tends to be found near the water’s edge, where it feeds mostly on seaweed as it conducts research to solve the mysteries of the Earth. Now I’ve never solved any Earthly mysteries, but if I were to do it, seaweed would not be my first choice of snack.

Speaking of me, I…never really liked the Slowpoke evolution line that much. I never really considered them to be that amazing. That is, until recently. wewe see, a couple months ago, way back when Pokemon Alpha Sapphire came out, I decided to attempt a Wonderlocke, which simply put, is a zaidi challenging way of playing through a Pokemon game, and as it so happened, Riku114 decided that she was going to attempt one as well so we decided that after every gym badge, we would have an online battle to test out our teams. One of those battles saw me using a Slowking, and…I was getting thoroughly defeated. Riku was undisputedly winning and as my ace in the hole fainted, I was left with one Pokemon…while Riku still had four. So there it was. The stage was set with my newest Pokemon, Slowking on my side, and Riku’s four best on her side…I had absolutely NO faith whatsoever in Slowking. I was already congratulating her and telling her good game, however I was determined to see it through to the end, and my Slowking certainly wasn’t ready to give up. It was then that I not only had the best comeback I had ever had, but probably the best comeback in all of Pokemon. Thanks to a last ditch confuse ray from my earlier Pokemon, my Slowking managed to get five Calm Mind’s out in a row, and with +5 Sp Attack and Sp Defense, my Slowking managed to sweep through Riku’s very best. Now, I know what wewe are thinking. Riku made a mistake which allowed that, however, I do not think Riku DID make a mistake. I think Riku made all the right calls and that is what makes this comeback so impressive.

After that Slowking just exploded with awesomeness, easily becoming the MVP of the Elite Four and definitely earning the spot in the juu ten.

TL;DR: Slowking is a bright pink giant that gets smarter every time it yawns.

~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆

9: Seaking

Seaking is an machungwa, chungwa samaki Pokemon that is just over four feet tall and weighs in at a whopping 86 lbs. As Riku would say, just one of those would make for one hell of a good dinner. Seaking fins are large and white with little black specks, though its dorsal fin is pure white and Mohawk shaped. Seaking tend to have puffy lips with little fangs protruding out, however, they are also equipped with large drill-shaped horns on their foreheads. The females horns are slightly smaller.

True to its name, Seaking are very strong swimmers, capable of travelling up waterfalls with relative ease. Around Autumn, Seaking tend to enter their mating season and the males perform elaborate dances in order to woo the females. However do not be so quick to dismiss Seaking as just another fish. Seaking, after finding a mate, use their horns to not only drill deep holes in stones and boulders to protect their eggs until they hatch, but to completely hollow those boulders out.. Talk about awesome parenting right? Well…the two Seaking parents will generally stick around to guard the for about a month. During that month, the Seaking will take turns patrolling the area to protect their new nest and if any threats do happen to appear, the Seaking will not hesitate to fight to the death to protect it and their precious offspring.

Now in the games…Seaking is not as impressive. It’s not necessarily a weak Pokemon and it can learn some pretty cool moves, but wewe can probably trump it with most other fully evolved water types. So I don’t really like Seaking for its usability in battle. Moreover, Seaking is probably one of the few Pokemon that I like mostly because of its look. I find Seaking to be a very aesthetically pleasing Pokemon and have liked the look of it all the way back in the generation 1 games of Red, Blue, and Yellow. Now most would expect me to be obsessed with the appearances of the Pokemon seeing as water type has to have some of the prettiest designs in all of Pokemon, but I don’t really like it that much. To be zaidi specific, I don’t like it when people decide whether au not to train a Pokemon based solely off whether they like its appearance au not. I simply feel like some great Pokemon could be left out because of that. However, I’ve always had a soft spot for Seaking because I’ve loved how it looks right from the start and in my eyes, it earned the “king” in its name.

TL;DR: Seaking is a Mohawk sporting unicorn samaki with bata lips and bat fangs.

8: Manaphy

Our last entry was about a king, but now it time to look at the prince. Manaphy is a small, blue, water Pokemon with long finger-less arms and small protrusions that act as its flippers au feet. Manaphy has a large head in proportion to its body with a pair of two long antennae with two small blue sphere’s at the end. Manaphy have dark blue eyes with yellow ‘eyelash’ markings directly above them. On Manaphy’s chest is a bright red gem with a small yellow dot a little lower towards the gut.

Manaphy is primarily made of water and as such, is very affected kwa its environment. Manaphy are capable of swimming incredibly long distances as it travels back to its birthplace. In addition to that, Manaphy possess the unique ability to bond with any Pokemon and can even use moyo Swap to share the perspectives of people and Pokemon.

I like Manaphy because it is a really unique idea for Pokemon. It’s something that hadn’t been done before and probably won’t be done again in future games. Manaphy is one of only two legendary au Mythical Pokemon that are capable of breeding. Those Pokemon are Manaphy and Phione. If wewe breed a Manaphy with a Ditto, it will produce a Phione. However, even though Manaphy gives birth to Phione, Phione is unable to evolve into Manaphy and even if wewe breed a Phione, it will not produce a Manaphy and will just give wewe another Phione. To me, that is one of the most interesting mechanics that has been introduced in a Pokemon game and really...Manaphy is just so darned cute.

TL;DR: Manaphy is an adorable blue sea prince that rides around on giant monstrous orcas.

7: Kabutops

Kabutops Maximus, au Kabutops, is a large, crab-like, water/rock Pokemon standing at about four feet tall and weighing in at just under 90 lbs. It stands on brown, thin legs that end in small feet with two razor sharp claws at the end. Kabutops hands are actually two deadly gray scythes and its chest is armored with a light-gray chest plate. On its back, Kabutops has a brown, spine-like shell that ends in a pointed tail. Its head is disk shaped with two beady eyes right in the front.

Kabutops are capable of tucking in their shell and wriggling it to zoom through the water at incredibly speeds, making them very deadly predators in the ocean where they call home, even if this speed is not carried into the games with them. After catching its prey, Kabutops cuts open its catch and drains it of its fluids. wewe might think this is a pretty gruesome thing for a Pokemon to do, but trust me when I say there are plenty worse. Kabutops is an ancient Pokemon, usually needing to be revived from a fossil to obtain. It is also worth noting that before going “extinct” Kabutops was in the process of evolving from a water dweller into a land dweller.

Fossil Pokemon have always been kind of hit au miss with me and it is one of those things where people always prefer a specific one. Some always pick Anorith while some always pick Lileep. Some always pick Tirtouga while some always pick Archen. Some always choose Amaura while some always choose Tyrunt. As for me? Whenever I played any Pokemon games taking place in the Kanto region, I always chose the Dome fossil. While you’re praising helix, I’m off kicking punda dome-style. Admittedly, I rarely actually USE the fossils and half the time they don’t get revived, but there is just something about Kabuto and Kabutops that made me like them more. Could be the scythes. Could definitely be the scythes.

TL;DR: Kabutops is a living fossil kaa monster that sucks out your fluids and has death scythes for hands.

6: Mantine

Mantine is a six foot tall, dark blue, 485 lbs water/flying type Pokemon that has two ring-shaped markings on its back and is very similar to the Manta Ray. Mantine have a white au gray underside that is nyumbani to a set of gills and generally has a Remoraid latched onto it somewhere. Mantine have fins that are quite large and thick, tails that are thin and wavy, and on its head it has two bulky antennae.

Mantine are capable of limited flight if they manage to pick up enough speed, very similarly to real life Manta Rays and can even fly as high as 300 feet out from the water. Mantine does not go looking for chakula and usually tends to just eat whatever floats into its mouth. It is normally docile and does not care as Remoraid cling to it to get leftovers.

Originally, and even as I was uandishi down a lot of the stuff for this list, I intended to have Walrein in this spot instead, and I can easily come up with several reasons why Walrein SHOULD be on this list, but I guess fate had something else in store.

A few days ago, after uandishi a lot of stuff for this orodha and doing enough research to make my brain hurt, I felt it was time for a break, so I put on some anti-virus software, turned off my monitor, and went into the other room. My mom was watching a documentary on Netflix about Manta Rays and I decided to watch it alongside her. As we watched, I started thinking about the orodha and it occurred to me that while Walrein is a fantastic Pokemon, another Pokemon was probably a better choice. So I came back into the room and switched Walrein with Mantine. Mantine is one of those Pokemon that are fairly forgettable at times, but the zaidi wewe think about it, the zaidi wewe tend to like it. Even now, as I am uandishi his down, I keep thinking of zaidi and zaidi things about Mantine that I like au find interesting, and it is that feeling of “I may never run out of things to say about this Pokemon” that puts it on my list.

TL;DR: Mantine is a 500 lbs Manta ray that flies around not giving a shit.

5: Huntail/Gorebyss/

inayofuata on the list, we have the Huntail and Gorebyss combo which I could not decide on which one I liked more, so we’re gonna inclu-

Riku114: “Hey! Hold it hold it hoooold it!”

Huh? Riku? What are wewe doin-

Riku114: “There is NO way in hell that you’re gonna do HUNTAIL and GOREBYSS without ME!

….why?

Riku114: “I shall take it from here. If anyone is going to handle these epic snakes, it’ll be me!”

But this is MY list!

Riku114: “HUNTAIL is a light blue water type snake Pokemon that is over five feet long and has circular machungwa, chungwa fins running along its spine.”

But snakes don’t have spines!

Riku114: “UNTRUE! Snakes are vertebrates meaning they have bones, a spine, and even ribs. In fact, Huntail not only has a spine, but its spine is so strong that it allows Huntail to survive in the deepest parts of the sea, hence why it is known as the ‘Deep Sea Pokemon.’”

That’s….actually really cool.

Riku114: “Huntail also has these machungwa, chungwa fins at chin level and has a fan-shaped one on the juu of its head. Running down the length of Huntail’s body are circular white dots with machungwa, chungwa rings bordering them. Huntail also possesses these dots on the front of its face and the middle of its tail, which is shaped like a fish.”

Alright, but why is it shaped like a fish?

Riku114: “Huntail uses its fish-shaped tail to lure prey in, and when they get close enough to realize what that samaki is attached to, it is usually too late. Huntail will have snatched it up and eaten it whole. Maybe that mouth full of razor sharp teeth are just for show? But I wouldn’t wanna be the one to find out, and there’s no use trying to hide in the shadows either because Huntail has perfect night vision.”

Anyway…while Mantine was a Pokemon that got cool after thinking about it for awhile, Huntail was a Pokemon that I was into right from the get go. The sekunde I saw that thing while playing Pokemon Sapphire on my limited edition Gameboy SP, I knew that the creature I was seeing on the opponents field was gonna be badass. So I tried to get it. I caught myself a Clamperl and I started to level that thing up thinking this is gonna be awesome! I stopped at around lvl 80 thinking that I might be going about it the wrong way. I didn’t have much access to the internet to tafuta up how to evolve it so I had to rely on something far zaidi cunning. My brothers. The sheer number of red herrings and wild goose, bata bukini chases was enough to make me grind my teeth in frustration, but I managed to do it. I evolved that sucker and I went WILD! Perhaps not entirely worth the wait, but I wasn’t gonna hold a grudge…just pwn them all with my OP Huntail.

TL;DR: Huntail is a long snake eel with razor sharp teeth that it keeps clean kwa eating its chakula whole.

Gorebyss is-

Riku114: “Gorebyss is a nearly six foot long, bright pink, snake-like Pokemon that is recognized as one of the most elegant and beautiful Pokemon there is.”

Oh not again…

Riku114: “on the juu of Gorebyss’ head, it has a long pink fin with a light purple tip. A second, thinner version of this fin can also be found on the bottom of its head. Gorebyss’ tail ends in a purple disk-shaped fin and it has two thin white bands around the base of the tail. Finally, Gorebyss has around its chest two purple seashells that make some people think of it as a Pokemon mermaid.”

Wow.

Riku114: “In the Spring, Gorebyss’ already bright pink skin becomes even zaidi vibrant than before. However, like most beautiful things, under that bright and pretty exterior hides a cold cold interior and Gorebyss’ skin also becomes zaidi vibrant after Gorebyss has fed.”

Alright I’m ready…what does Gorebyss eat?

Riku114: “Gorebyss is known to eat the seaweed that grows between stones…”

Oh well that’s not so-

Riku114: “AS WELL AS THE BODILY FLUIDS OF ITS CAPTURED PREY!”

Ugh

Riku114: “That’s right. Gorebyss has a long but thin mouth with which it STABS its prey! It then proceeds to drain that poor unfortunate like a coconut!”

That is so gruesome…

Riku114: “You’re damn right it is. But Gorebyss doesn’t care because it can not only survive the crushing depths of the ocean abyss, but are able to withstand powerful attacks because of it.”

On the other end, we have Gorebyss who I really…didn’t care for early on. It’s not that I didn’t like Gorebyss, I just…preferred other Pokemon over it. If wewe asked me to make this orodha before X and Y came out, wewe would not see Gorebyss even mentioned except to onyesha how much I liked Huntail more, but I had the luck to train and use a Gorebyss in one of my Pokemon X playthroughs and I found that Gorebyss was actually pretty awesome. kwa this time, I had a pretty good handle on EV training so just that one lvl 60 Gorebyss was able to take out the entire elite four on its own. Admittedly X/Y are laughably easy, but regardless, I really found out that Gorebyss was an epic Pokemon and now I’ve got it in the exalted Lvl 100 box with all the other veterans team members.

TL;DR: Gorebyss is a bright pink vampire mermaid that’ll stab wewe with its mouth and suck out all your fluids.

~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆

4: Totadile

Totadile is a light blue, bipedal water type Pokemon that somewhat closely resembles a mamba and has light red spikes that run down the length of its spine and tail. Totadile has a large head which is mostly comprised of its impressive jaw. Totadile has two fang-like teeth on the juu of its mouth and on the bottom of its mouth it has two rows of teeth on either side of its mouth, with each row having three teeth. Totadile’s eyes are also large and red in color. Totadile’s hands consist of 5 sharp claws and its feet each have three toes. On its chest it has a yellow v-shaped pattern that runs from one elbow to the other, with a small black line running down the middle.

Totadile is incredibly playful and has a habit of biting anything that moves, however it is not good at controlling its own strength and while the Pokemon may not intend it, what it thinks is playful nipping can actually cause serious injury. Many trainers have to be extra careful with Totadile and are even warned to not turn their backs on them. While there may not be much zaidi to Totadile than sheer biting power, it hardly needs zaidi as it can crush almost anything between those deadly chompers.

Totadile, while just a basic Pokemon that isn’t particularly useful in any battle scenario, is actually higher up on my orodha of liked Pokemon than it’s evolved forms. This is in part due to the anime where Ash caught and used a Totadile in his Johto adventures which was awesome, and also because my experiences in the awali games already set water type as my undisputed favorite. So obviously the starter I chose was always Totadile, which just made me upendo it zaidi and more. I could easily have replaced any of the awali entries with Feraligatr, however, having just one of this evolution line seemed to work better. Besides…I soft resetted for a shiny one of these fellows in Pokemon Soul Silver. That speaks LOADS.

TL;DR: Totadile is an adorable blue mamba that will literally bite your punda off the sekunde your back is turned.

~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆

3: Vaporeon

We’re in the juu three now and starting us off is a four-legged, blue, feline-like Pokemon called Vaporeon. On each of Vaporeon’s four legs it has three small blue toes. In fact, the bulk of Vaporeon’s body is light blue in color except for the dark blue ridges it has running up the length of its spine and on its head. Vaporeon also has a white ruff around its neck that gives it a regal au princely appearance. There are three webbed, white-yellow fins around Vaporeons head. One on either side and the last one on the top. On the other side, Vaporeon’s tail is long and ends in a mgawanyiko, baidisha tailfin which has caused it to be mistaken in the past for that of a mermaid.

Vaporeon are actually not usually found in the wild and while they sometimes can be seen around fresh bodies of water, they are mostly found in urban environments. Vaporeon has physical attributes of both land and water creatures, meaning it can thrive in either environment, but it is zaidi uniquely suited for the water. As well as having gills, Vaporeon’s cells are very similar to that of water molecules. This enables Vaporeon to alter its physical trait and actually melt into water, which is very helpful for camouflage. That’s not all Vaporeon can do either. Vaporeon has the ability to freely control water and when the fins on Vaporeon’s head vibrate, it is a clear sign that it will rain within a few hours.

For some, it seems like every orodha has to have an obligatory Eeveelution and while I do upendo the various Eeveelutions that have come about, I really think that the concept as a whole is rather…overhyped. Though that does not change the fact that Vaporeon is easily making it into the juu three. Vaporeon seems to have it all. It’s powerful in battle, it looks like what a water Pokemon is supposed to look like, it can literally turn itself into water…and really, that’s only a small portion of why I like, no, upendo Vaporeon. When I think about Pokemon, the water type is always the first thing to pop into my mind, and Vaporeon is one of the first Pokemon that I think of. What makes that interesting is that no matter how bad of a siku I’ve had, this is one of the few Pokemon that can make me forget all that and just…enjoy myself.

TL;DR: Vaporeon is a blue mercat with the ability to turn into water and predict the weather.

~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆

2: Kyogre

I’m pretty sure this entry is coming as a shock to nobody. After all, it is hard to imagine this iconic water type not being included. Kyogre is a massive blue, whale-like Pokemon that is 14 feet tall and weighs 776 lbs. That’s MASSIVE….or maybe not?

According to National Geographic, Orcas, which are real life wanyama that are similar to Kyogre, can have an average length of around 23 feet and can weigh an average of 5000 lbs! That is far zaidi than that of Kyogre. Even Primal Kyogre, which is zaidi than twice its usual size, is only as large as the largest recorded orca of 32 feet. Even then Primal Kyogre weighs FAR less at only 948 lbs!

The majority of Kyogre’s body is deep ocean blue with red markings around its mouth, eyes, fins, and torso that glow brighter the zaidi power Kyogre has. Kyogre has two large fins extending directly out from its sides that each have four white nails at the ends. The underside of its mouth is also white with two spikes extending out from underneath it. Kyogre has two white, oval-shaped markings above each eye. On each side is a large oval and a smaller oval. Its tail is fairly short, but attached to the tail are four extending parts. The inner parts are shorter than the outer parts.

Kyogre, living up to its legendary status, is an incredibly powerful Pokemon capable of controlling the element of water and can even bring about rainstorms large enough to completely cover the sky. Kyogre on its own can end droughts and is even rumored to have expanded the seas and is even alisema to be capable of flight. However, despite all of this, Kyogre is a peaceful Pokemon that is content to live in its nyumbani deep in the ocean depths where it is rumored to sleep at the bottom of a trench. Kyogre is lifelong enemies of the legendary Pokemon, Groudon, and if the two of them ever meet, they will engage in a cataclysmic battle that could easily destroy the world.

Kyogre is also capable of undergoing a process known as Primal Reversion. Primal Reversion is an ancient transformation that allows the user to kuunganisha the energy of nature to greatly increase its power. When Kyogre undergoes this process, its true power is restored and Kyogre takes on the form of Primal Kyogre.

When Kyogre is in its primal state, it grows to zaidi than double the size that it normally is and its skin takes on a darker shade of blue. Kyogre’s red stripes change to a light blue. Kyogre also has light blue α symbols on both of its fins that connect to its claws and has another α symbol on the juu of its head, connecting to the oval shapes that are on either side. On the insides of these oval shapes are two yellow symbols. The white bottom of Kyogre’s mouth and the spaces in between its marking begin to glow lightly as well as a golden light shining from the center of Kyogre’s body. Finally the four parts extending from Kyogre’s tail become much larger with a sort of translucent webbing running down the middle.

Primal Kyogre has all the power of regular Kyogre and then some. Primal Kyogre is able to bring about far greater storms than its regular form and can even cause massive flooding just be being in that form. While Kyogre did expand the seas, it was Primal Kyogre that created them in the first place. It’s alisema that Primal Kyogre can widen the seas just kwa taking a swim and is considered to be a living personification of the sea itself.

Oh my gosh…do we have a big one here. Like I alisema above, this probably came as a shock to nobody. Kyogre is without a doubt the ultimate water type Pokemon. That does not mean it is my favorite, but nobody can deny that Kyogre is simply the absolute strongest water Pokemon. It is the strongest water Pokemon kwa a large margin. That’s a fact. In the games lore, without Kyogre, no other water Pokemon could even exist. I always loved the legends surrounding the weather Trio. It just really interests me because sure there are dragon types and psychic types, but these are Pokemon that are undisputed masters of their respective domains. Rayquaza rules the sky, Groudon controls the land, and most of all….Kyogre is king of the seas.

The Hoenn games were actually the first Pokemon games I ever played. I started out just watching my bros play through their own games and then eventually started playing myself. Here’s an interesting fun fact. When we first played these games, my brothers and I did not know how to pronounce Kyogre correctly so we kept calling it “Kyogee” and even nicknamed it that after hearing the actual pronunciation. I do miss that one…

TL;DR: Kyogre is a massive blue orca monster that probably created the Atlantic Ocean when it sneezed one day.

~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆🌟⋆~⋆

1: Blastoise

Blastoise is the fully evolved form of Squirtle, the very first Water Type Pokemon listed in the National Dex. It was the first water type Pokemon that was creat-Nope. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that part is not true. The first Pokemon created was actually Rhyhorn, LAPRAS, and Clefairy. Just a little bit of info I thought was interesting.

Blastoise is a large, blue Pokemon that is very similar in appearance to a tortoise, though it is listed in the Pokedex as the Shellfish Pokemon, as are Kabuto and Kabutops. The majority of Blastoise’s body is actually covered up kwa its shell. This shell is incredibly strong and is capable of protecting Blastoise from many different kinds of attacks. The underside of this shell is a cream color with white ridges around the shoulder area. The underside of Blastoise’s mouth is also this cream color. Blastoise’s ears are triangular and are black on the inside. The shape of Blastoise’s eyes are also triangular with dark brown pupils. Blastoise has thick, striated arms and legs. The arms have three white claws on each hand and its feet have three claws on the front and one at the back. Its tail is short and stubby, but Blastoise’s most notable feature are the two powerful cannons attached to its back at the juu of the shell. Blastoise is able to extend and withdraw these cannons at will to assist in aiming and high speed tackles.

Blastoise is one Pokemon that is capable of undergoing the process known as “Mega Evolution”. Mega Evolution, in a nutshell, is a transformation that allows a Pokemon to temporarily evolve even further than normal to receive a massive increase in power. This temporary evolution usually wears off after the battle is over.

When Blastoise evolves into Mega Blastoise, the two cannons on its back are replaced kwa one, much larger, kanuni, cannon in the center. This kanuni, cannon is large enough to extend past Mega Blastoise’s head. Mega Blastoise has two smaller shells on its arms that each have their own, smaller, cannons. Blastoise’s brown eyes turn red and it develops a small point under its chin.

Starting off with the obvious, Blastoise is capable of blasting out incredibly powerful bursts of water out of the pressure cannons attached to its shell. These cannons are capable of shattering concrete, piercing holes through thick steel, and even accurately hitting an empty can over 160 feet away. In fact, Blastoise is alisema to be able to shoot out this water at almot 90000 PSI, which is over 74x the force put out kwa a moto hose. Blastoise needs to be very heavy to be able to resist the recoil of its own attacks so it deliberately eats as much as it can to increase its bulk and if the cannons fail, then Blastoise can crush its opponent underneath its heavy body. However, when Blastoise mega evolves into Mega Blastoise, the kanuni, cannon on its back is capable of firing accurately with a range of over six miles and thanks to the cannons on its arms, it is able to use its water attacks in close range combat far zaidi effectively. Blastoise is a natural born leader, often taking charge of large groups of Squirtle and Wartortle and it most prefers to live near freshwater lakes and ponds.

There wasn’t even a debate on this one. When I decided to make this list, I did not ask myself what Pokemon was gonna take the number 1 spot. Blastoise is undoubtedly my inayopendelewa water type Pokemon. It always has been and there is nothing in the foreseeable future to suggest that it’ll change. As I alisema in an earlier entry, the Hoenn games were my first experience with Pokemon. I did not have that “it was my first ever Pokemon” thing that makes a lot of people biased towards one Pokemon au the other. However, when I finally did get Pokemon the original Pokemon games and got to choose which one I wanted, I grabbed Pokemon Blue right off the bat. My other brothers could have Red, Green, and Yellow for all I cared. I just wanted that badass kobe, kasa and the sekunde I got to choose my Pokemon, I chose Squirtle. After that, I found it impossible to choose the others. I would sometimes restart my game and pick Charmander au Bulbasaur, but I never stayed interested long enough to beat the game with them. Squirtle is the only starter Pokemon that has managed to do that to me. Blastoise was the very first Pokemon I trained to lvl 100 all kwa myself, it was the Pokemon I resorted to when the rare event happened and I got stuck, and when it mega evolved? I couldn’t wait to use it. I could go on in great detail about how much I do NOT like Mega Evolution, but with Blastoise I was fine with it because it gave me a legit chance to blast through the game with my inayopendelewa Pokemon, not just my inayopendelewa water Pokemon, but my inayopendelewa Pokemon out of ALL of THEM…not that I needed a reason.

TL;DR: Blastoise is a giant blue kobe with massive cannons on its back that shoots out water with enough force to knock down a house.
